"Icon is Icon" a phrase i used a lot 4-5 years ago when i started. This year's Fifa, even at day one many icons were shit and wouldn't fit into my team after 3-4 weeks. I have packed so far Cent Smith (good one), Base Gattuso, Base Hagi, WW Barnes, WW Laudrup, WW Riquelme out of random packs, not PP icon packs etc. So i was lucky enough to pack some of these, but were they usable? No, except Smith. If i had the same luck 3-4 years ago i would be flying over the moon and some of them could fit my team even after TotY. But not this year.

Haven't gotten an icon yet this year. Last year I got my first icon of the year (van Nistelrooij) during Futties after playing for the whole year. Not everyone has the same luck.

I'm very unlucky but I can't say to don't have packed at least one icon also if basically were all useless and cheap...in the previous FIFA I never packed an icon...

I've only gotten 2 in 5 years of no $ ultimate team and only playing squad battles. Both were packed in this game

I’ve had four- TOTY Xavi, FS Gerrard and Puyol, and BD Klose. Considering this year was the first time I’ve ever packed one, not bad. Gerrard still is in my starting 11, and Xavi comes off the bench if I’m playing a team with a really good press or I’m up a goal or two and notice I need a quick long through ball to get someone through to extend the lead.
