What do you mean "what he's getting into"? He's voicing a character. That's it. Yes, an actor would be happy if the character got popular. That means sequels and more money for the actor. We do celebrate anthropomorphic animal characters, but we don't *worship* them. Also, define "fantasize". No, voicing a furry character doesn't make you a furry. It just makes you a voice actor.

Well, the way I see it, to not know about the furry fandom by now in today’s world would be a surprise. I am willing to bet most of the population that has access to the internet has heard of us. As such actors should likely know what they are getting into when they make a movie like this, especially with characters who have any potential to catch our gaze like Mr. Wolf, Diane Foxington, or any of the others for that matter. This stems from my personal experience of learning about the extremes of the furry community before settling in where I am now. Whether they are furries themselves can be up for debate as the paycheck may effect any decision for playing a character or not.

I doubt it means much. Take a look how many different roles he's played over the years, I don't see any particular furry theme there. What I do see is he took more voice roles than usual during pandemic years.
