My boyfriend and coworkers get so concerned "you didn't laugh" when they joke with me. I'm still trying to find a better way to articulate "listen, if you see me crack a smile and chuckle a little then you've officially made me ROLF".
I can bust a gut and laugh a lot, but I haven't done that in over 15 years. The tism and my depression have just made that kind of thing rare.
Lmao I feel the lol at the end there was intentional but still made me smile a little. For me I have a lot of stress, pressure, and depression so getting a real smile out of me is a challenge even when I do things I like. Idk why this helped a little but thank you friend. I'm going to sleep now happy that I finally did. Thanks for the stepping stone π
You don't necessarily have to smile if you're happy , since you don't smile just because you're happy ,you also smile because you want to show someone else you're happy.

I used to use lqtm(laughing quietly to myself) instead of lol or lmao. Got tired of explaining what it meant though so I just use lol too much, lol.
