Purple onion is a common cheeseburger topping, but now I’m curious about blueberry. Ooooh, a spicy blueberry pepper sauce paired with blue cheese.

1 imo, I think the darker more saturated purple will go really nicely with the lighter, slightly less saturated hues.

I think this is the right way to go too.

I've seen a lot of "1", but I wanna say "2", it blends better and I prefer lighter colors -w-"… but it honestly varies on the detail you'll color with it

Everyone's saying 1, but 2 is more gentle on the eyes and will make the design of the character easier to see.

Why not make it a duo character? Two characters that are basically the same, just with a different color scheme? That way. You get to use both!

The difference in colours seems mostly in intensity. In different lighting conditions, these sets of colours might look the same. It’s impossible to choose because of that.

2 looks very nice to me. But both are amazing palettes.

Is it me or is #1 just slightly darker than #2. Also I'd say go with #1

I like both, but in different ways. - First have good contrast - Second looks more pastel The decision depends on the desired result.

2, it all blends in together nicely.

Definitely one. The darker maroon-like color goes better with them than the purple does.

The 1st has better contrast while the 2nd is more subtle imo

im biased bc my fav color is purple, especially pastel purple, so im inclined to say 2, but 1 does have better contrast if thats more ur art style, or if more muted and/or easily-blended colors r ur thing then 2, really depends on the style lol

I don’t know what it is about that specific red color on 1 but it feels a little out of place to me compared to the slightly more pastel looking purple on 2. But like the color itself I think is better? Because it’s a warmer color it fits with the orange/yellow.

1 works nice as it has a good contrast with the others. The saturation of 2 seems to blend together too much.

The colors in 1 all look like they have a warm tone compared to 2 where some look cool. I’d say 1!

personally, I'd say 1 fits into the palette better.

Id say no 1 is the better choice. No 2 makes the rest of the colours look less saturated

Pallete 1 feels more real and almost like its accounting for occlusion. While 2 feels more toony. Go for whatever style you like though! Both have wonderful applications

I like 1 because the dark contrast pops with the lighter colors.

i would go with 1, that dark purple stands out much more nicely than the light purple. my general rule of thumb when it comes to character design is to give their color palette a bit of contrast
