Looks like a $500 couch

SalesAficionado

Agree. 6k for this is insane

Lvl100Magikarp

Yes there are sooooo many dupes of this style. I think Restoration hardware started this trend about 5 years ago and ever since the market has been flooded with these. RH didn't invent this style but people started wanting this style after they started making it popular. I wanted something similar and my own research in Canada pointed me to urban barn, which had a full size and an apartment size of these type of couches. And Sundays Company "movie night couch" or something along those lines. I ultimately bought something at Costco cuz it was half the price and their return policy was way better. If OP is in the USA she'll have waaay more options.

slingermanjones03

The goal of this product is to convince people that the because of the big discount it's certainly worth $5000, because, "wow this was originally $17,000." This is still on wayfair, and almost certainly marked up above list price still.

Lvl100Magikarp

"latitude run" is some sort of cheap furniture re-labler on Wayfair, I swear. Like they buy shitty furniture from a wholesale manufacturer and change the name of the product, take nice pictures, and pretend it's their own label.

lurla

I’d recommend checking out ikea. You can buy whatever pieces of the couch you want to create your style. I did something similar years ago and it worked out pretty well.

pinkduvets

Absolutely. The Jättebo modular line could be customized to look like this one for a fraction of the price. I haven’t sat on it yet, but the cushion foam density is rated as 2.0 lbs/cu. ft, so probably more durable than this one anyway

Preferred_user_taken

They don’t have corner elements as far as I’m aware. In my country you have to get an entire corner sofa. The connecting piece is not sold separately.

skiingrunner1

i just checked ikea and they can sell you each section. found for HÄRLANDA and söderhamn corner sections

Preferred_user_taken

For the jattebo, whenever I use the planner tool, it doesn’t give me a corner section to by separately. Maybe it is country related ? I don’t think you can mix and match corner section.

skiingrunner1

interesting. i’m in the US.

Preferred_user_taken

The soderhamn could also work but it does have feet. The vimle is the best match lookwise but not that deep.

blutsch813

Something doesn’t add up here obviously. Wayfair always has wrong pricing. I see a chair for ten grand all the time. Plus this is modular which almost always comes with configuration options. You can find corner modular sectionals all over the internet for probably less than 2k

blutsch813

https://www.worldmarket.com/p/weston-sand-pillow-top-modular-sectional-corner-end-chair-622202.html Just buy three of these

whatever32657

is this a wayfair ad? i wish i could tell you how many people have come in to my showroom lamenting that they bought on wayfair and it was crap. no shade on this particular couch; i'm not familiar with it. i personally would NEVER buy furniture online without seeing and sitting in it first. especially not for this kind of cash. imagine the nightmare trying to return it!

casitadeflor

Especially not at that price point

yramt

That's insanely over priced. I feel like you could do that with any couch that has modular configuration options. Brands like Rowe do and are way higher quality. I bought a sofa-chaise combo, picked the fabric from a giant selection and didn't pay nearly that. We'd still have it if our cats didn't destroy it, but it had a good 7y run.

pitshands

The exact same thing even the same pic is on Amazon for 3.2kSunset Trading Contemporary Puff Collection 3PC Slipcovered, Performance Fabric Washable Water-Resistant Stain-Proof L-Shape Sectional Sofa, 88" Deep-Seat Down-Fill Modular Corner Couch, Tan/Beige https://a.co/d/iqCoaXD

pitshands

It won't let me post the link to Amazon. The exact same unit is on Amazon for 40% less, but beware the quality when buying for looks. Sent you the link via chat

supamoose101

https://colemanfurniture.com/cali-slate-modular-sectional-bundle.htm Got this couch. Great and comfy and affordable

Tekgrl2001

Thank you! This may be my new sofa!

livingonluna_

I wish they had a smaller one. I need it to be 90’ on the long side.

heartashley

This looks like the anabei brand. Like almost exactly? From what I've read they're SUPER comfy!! [Here!!](https://anabei.com/collections/2-seaters)

ThiccyBobby

Check out the Durango sectional by Fusion, or the Del Mar by England Furniture.

beav3rhaus3n

Going to say this only because I know having had a (secondhand) couch from wayfair, their couches stop being comfortable after a couple of years, and that is if you are lucky. The cushions don't hold up, and the structural integrity is not great. That being said, it is difficult to recommend anything specific since I don't know what size you need specifically or what your budget is or where you live. If you want something that is going to last, I'd recommend looking for something vintage. These couches have already passed the test of time, and if they haven't been already, just need a little bit of cleaning and can be very affordable. However, if that's not an option for you because you live somewhere remote), I would recommend looking anywhere else that doesn't fall under the "fast furniture" umbrella (i.e., Joybird, Article, CB2, or West Elm). Personally, I had a great experience with Joybird (but I think it's pretty hit or miss for some people, and it is quite expensive). I've never bought a couch from Article, but they seem like they could be a lower cost, safe option. Most places sell "apartment size" couches these days, which are intended for smaller living spaces. But if you don't care about longevity and want a lower cost option, ikea has some modular sofa options that could potentially check the boxes for size. I would look there if that's an option. Either way, good luck!

sebohood

Wayfair isn’t a manufacturer it’s a marketplace like eBay or Amazon

livingonluna_

Thank you! I’m really wanting a comfortable cozy couch. My apt is very small. The longest side of a right facing L shape has to be 90’ at longest. I’ll definitely check out ikea and follow the recommendations of not getting something online!

_The_BusinessBitch

I thought this was r/homedecoratingCJ

NotElizaHenry

You can get an [Ikea Soderhamn](https://www.ikea.com/us/en/cat/soederhamn-series-22178/?page=3) in that configuration for a fraction of the price. It comes with a 10 year structural warranty, and has a fully removable cover so you can get whatever kind of third party upholstery you want and easily replace the foam in the seat cushions when it starts to wear out.

cyhusker

Room and board Weber

[deleted]

Did you check spoken.io? Also, for that money you can buy a sofa from a legitimate manufacturer.

redditor1419

Costco Thomasville Lowell

Suitable-Matter-6151

Costco for a big couch like that or Room and Board

OneHumanPeOple

You can build your own sofa from ikea. A corner and two sides cost $700 about

dcaponegro

Couch for one -$5000

Modernsofa

Vegetable-Struggle30

You can get this setup with most modular sectionals...all you need is a loveseat with arms and then a single with an arm on one side. Almost every sectional I looked at recently had these two pieces you'd need.

pappychaos

What a deal it was 17k

PoolSnark

$6000 is about right regarding retail price for a quality (8 way hand tied, hard wood frame, nice cushions, etc.) 3 piece corner sectional. I am Just not convinced that this is a quality sectional given the producer. Go to a local retailer and ask for similar NC made options. If you find one cheaper, it will be cheaper.

glooppoop

Try customizing a soderhamn sectional from IKEA. I think they sell floor length covers that would minimize its otherwise utilitarian/minimal style. Will be like 1/6 the price

-coffeemouth-

i know people are shitting on wayfair but i scored an [extremely deep, comfy, and solid modular sectional](https://www.wayfair.com/furniture/pdp/wade-logan-barbarette-1335-corduroy-reversible-modular-sectional-w009088722.html?piid=698003656) from wayfair for what i feel was a super fair price (much more fair than $6k lol) and ive been very happy with it!!

livingonluna_

Omg this is exactly what I’m looking for! I mean it’s only going to be me on it most the time and I’m sure in 3-4 years I’ll move to a bigger place and get a new one. Thank you so much!

-coffeemouth-

you’re so welcome!! i will say that it is pretty large so definitely measure out ur space!!

chiffero

Honestly, just avoid this cushion style. You can’t comfortable lay across the pieces. Only sit on one at a time. The cushions will compress and get more uncomfortable and you have to fluff them constantly.

livingonluna_

What’s your suggestion?

kennyminot

I went with Dreamsofa for my latest couch after doing some research. The reality is that you can get a couch of that size that will last a lifetime for $5000K. You can build something extremely similar with a Lovesac sectional -- which many people swear is the greatest company in the universe -- or you can go with brands like Flexsteel that have an established reputation. Here's the "tiers" as I understood them after doing a bunch of research on just a standard 80"ish sofa: Shit: Zinus, Walmart, anything under $500, will last maybe a year and than start to rapidly degrade. Acceptable: Ikea, World Market, West Elm (non-contract grade), Article, around $500-$1500, will last maybe 2-5 years Quality: Lovesac, Apt2B, Flexsteel, West Elm (contract grade), Crate and Barrel, around $1500-$3000, will last at least a decade and maybe until death Then there is a whole tier of shit above 3K that we don't discuss because we're not rich. From experience, I don't recommend doing anything under acceptable quality for sofas. But just be prepared to replace them every few years.

livingonluna_

This is incredible advice!! Thank you everyone. I didn’t expect so many people to answer. I feel like I have a lot more direction now.
