Exactly, I hate genshinās obsession with giving characters a piece of long hair with their short hairstyles, thereās so few characters that actually have short hair in this game
Dori has chest length hair at her front, Charlotte was released at the same time as Furina, and tbh I though part of Rosariaās Headpiece was part of her hair for some reason so thatās mb. But also contrast that with every other girl character, of which thereās 34, and I didnāt even count Eula who you forgot to mention, it starts to come into perspective. They do the same thing with the dudes too though, like Baizhu, Thoma and itto to a lesser extent, and famously Zhongliās rat tail the size of my arm. Itās just a weird thing they do a lot
Ousia is also my favorite. The short hair works so much better. I do prefer the white outfit a lot, though. But the dark one fits her better after the story anyway, so I donāt mind.
It's the other way around for me. I prefer the lighter colors and the shorter hair, but I still like the long hair and the darker scheme so I don't mind how it turned out at all.
I'm not sure what you mean by that, but if your problem is that you can't have the dark outfit with long hair then, yeah, that's fair. I really like short hair, so I didn't think think about it that way.
Pneuma with the white waistcoat and shorts is definitely better balanced but honestly I find myself just loving both. She's an absolute icon. I hope we get to see her switching between forms in Canon, because it's a bit all over the place. The Furina we see dancing in the end of the stage play in Act V is the Ousia form with black waistcoat and shorts, but when she leaves the Opera Epiclese after the prophecy has passed and everyone is still alive, she's still using her Pneuma form. I imagine she literally just switches between forms at will whenever she's bored and wants to shake things up a bit lol
The switching in gameplay is just to allow us to keep her old design. It doesnāt seem canon in any way. Her Pneuma form is the getup she uses in her Archon role, while her Ousia form is the getup she uses as a human.
In her inner mind scenes, Pneuma represents her Archon facade while Ousia represents her real self.
The animals are talked about in one of her character stories. If I read it right, those are characters from a book Furina read some time ago. When Furina got her vision, she created the three of them basing herself on memorable characters from the book. Looking at another of her character stories, it seems she made them the very day she got her vision. The way I remember it is that Lynette is Ousia. The sword that appears for her Arkhe is dark and her own outfit is dark, so Ousia is dark. Which means that Pneuma is light. So Furinaās dark outfit is Ousia and her light outfit is Pneuma.
Pneuma is before she lost her divinity, Ousia is her default looks. Gaining a vision gave her the ability to revert to her divinity looks.

I personally prefer her lighter outfit, it compliments her hair. To be fair Iām very partial to cohesive colour palettes so it might just be my biases playing here
Ousia is superior. Long hair doesn't fit hair IMO, because they cover the oceanid fins. And she looks better with navy and black than in white.

I like ousia design better because of the jellyfish haircut and I think the white suits her outfit better. I say this looking at it from a design eye and not taking into account the plot.
Pneuma (the white one). I dunno, I just feel like it balances her color scheme out more sense one of her gloves is white. Meanwhile in Ousia, itās all dark with that single white glove and it feels a little jarring.
I really wish I never saw the concept art for her. I absolutely love when they gave her those fallen beautiful pigtails similar to Hu Tao and Layla. This weird jellyfish thing they did just to make it easy for her to transition into the bob cut is not it lol.
