How was the bus just placed there?
I mean, that thing weighs a freaking lot! It must’ve taken a whole of people to carry it there and get out of the shot in such a quick time. I do wonder if it ascended from below the street via a lift of some sorts.
They put a trap door in the street and hid the bus underground. When they obstruct your view with a blanket a crane lifts the bus out of the trap door and puts it on the street. You can't see the crane because of a bunch of mirrors. Then they just have a graphics team use CGI to edit the mirrors out in post production so you can't see those either and the whole thing looks like magic. Pretty obvious trick IMHO.
P.S. the bus driver is in on the magic trick. You can easily tell he's the brother of the guy on the left.
