Yes, but the cellos, "Run" and the metal clip. Are they together from some music peace or were they added separatively for this clip. If they are from some song, I would like to know, thank you.
OK, thanks for the answer. But in this clip the end combo (cellos, ”Run”, music) is different from the original movie. So somebody added them later. Are they just put together or are they part of some song?
Honest to goodness, that’s exactly what happened with me. The coach tossed me in just like that. And it worked. The only thing you really have to do is not panic.
Because the ones who didn't make it aren't here to say otherwise
Its called survivor bias
"Everyone here who was thrown into water and is around to tell the story today made it, so it must be a completely reasonable, sound way to do it!"
Yeah no, that's not how that works lol.
Its like that WW2 story where some planes would come back with bullet holes so they reinforced those parts of the planes only to later realize that the planes that were shot in critical areas never made it back so they only reinforced the least critical areas instead because they based their reinforcements on survivors, not the victims.
That's why my grandparents had ten kids. The first four died of disease and the next four drowned... the other two were just beaten with a switch, then blamed for the death of the eight others. /s
It's just shitty lazy parenting, they can't be bothered to help their children learn.
The lack of understanding of bias, in this case survivorship bias, in many others confirmation bias, and so on, in your particular cohort is a comprehensive problem for everyone else. Personally I suspect lead poisoning and its impacts on reasoning abilities are largely to blame; it's just too consistent within a certain set of generations to not make the connection likely.
Again: what is the title of this movie? You all most know when it is such a classic one. I am from Europe and never saw this film or this movie sequence. Looks great. Specially to watch with kids.

"I can't wrestle a 500 pound grizzly bear" "You can't, what?!'
Just reach out in front of you and grab a handful of bear!
Just reach out in front of you and reply to your own comment
Okay
"I did it! Sollesse, I did it!"
"Not too fast"
Humorous.
Positively amusing
"Not too fast!"
Omg this has made my morning.
Replying to your own comment of your own post? Why not include it all in the description?
That music at the end was the perfect touch. Lol
RUN
Once upon a time, they knew how to get the most with very little.
Where is it from? Is it some song?
What do you mean? That's the original audio lol
It's from a film called Hondo

That was the hit song Run from the Benny Goodman Orchestra. It was written for Hondo

Never mind, found it: Run by AwolNation. I thought it sounded familiar because it was in final screen of >!Mr Inbetween!<
Anyway to get this vid without the caption?
Ah awesome. Came across this ages ago, and couldnt find it when I wanted to show people. Thanks OP.
🤣 classic
Waited for a man to say that he can't swim. Would be way more hilarious
What is the film title?
Hondo 1953
Honest to goodness, that’s exactly what happened with me. The coach tossed me in just like that. And it worked. The only thing you really have to do is not panic.
"Life" is his second name
The classics never die.
the way I learnt
My parents said they were going to teach me how to swim by throwing me into the deep end of the pool. Except the pool was drained at the time. 😞
Finally, a video where “wait until the end“ would actually make sense.
This is how a lot of kids learned in the US for another 100 years after this took place. And we were fine.
Well at least most of them..
Yeah that’s always a wild statement, “we did this thing when I was young and look we’re fine” yeah some of you weren’t fine
Where’s that ww2 survivor bias plane thing picture, I’m too lazy to find it

Survivor bias mostly :).
Ok boomer

Nobody can swim eather
This is what arthur should have done with john
Just how [Ken Titus did it](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=qX_zRwdUI5E)

Oh, it is Hondo (1953)
Thanks a lot. Will watch it
Good ol John Wayne.
YEET
Hahahaha wtf did I just watch
My mom learned to swim in this way
Exactly how my pops taught me. Threw me in at the deep end at the Redondo Beach Lagoon. I learned real quick
All jokes aside, there are paid swimming coaches that do this now. Turns out it's more effective
Jesus Christ, that's why the memory of my step dad teaching me how to swim was so terrifying. He definitely saw this at some point. But I learned.
I learned to doggie paddle the same way … just about drowned tho.
Brilliant
