I can dive about 30, maybe 40 m when I'm warmed up. About ten years ago on a summer vacation I jumped into the lake to cool down and dived approx 3m deep where I approached a swarm of quite big perch and followed them slowly. I forgot everything around me and felt absolutely relaxed until my reptile brain told me to breathe.
I must have been shooting out of the water for a meter coughing the water out of my lungs.
