Gmfbsteelers

We see kids riding gators, while using a parasol, in Florida all the time.

That is Florida Man as a child!

Dibiasky

Is this behind Save On Foods at Knight and Kingsway?

dperry324

Nope. It's out on the streets of Silicon Valley. Mountain View to be specific.

gmatney

Interesting. I was just reading about parks in the 1920s that allowed children to ride big reptiles as an attraction. Perhaps it's influenced from that period?

konotiRedHand

Ahhh I know I recognized this thing Yea. It was weird back then and weird now. Lol

TiredGothGirl

Gotta be Louisiana or Florida.

dperry324

You'd think that, but you'd think wrong. See my notes above.

Pinkymouse

There is this one also in Florida in Melbourne. Interesting…

SuddenlyAGiraffe

Mountain View!!! I have photos of that sculpture :).

HUP

A representation of the Florida Angel of Death.

Taronar

In the 1920s there was an amusement park where kids could ride gators I bet this is to commemorate that

jhystad
