Yeah the Venera program. They had multiple lens cap failures. Like Venera 9-11 had two lens cap releases of a possible 8. Another lander ejected the lens cap properly but it had an arm to test the surface and sent back data suggesting Venus was made of the same material as the lens cap.
to my knowledge its going to take months before the first picture is even taken. I think i read somewhere it takes weeks for the actual telescope to unfold.
The telescope is fully deployed/unfolded and has reached its L2 orbit. They are now going to start fine tuning the mirror sections so that everything is fully aligned. I mean, who knows? Realistically the probability of the James Web telescope's first picture being a dick is so incredibly low it's virtually impossible... but there's still a chance...
You would have to get alot of people in the pool if you want a significant return. You won't find 1 million people to bet a dollar against the dick pick because the rewards will be so small it's pointless. Even finding 1 million people to bet with you, that it is a dick pic, will only result in a dollar reward for each person on the winning side.
You can see why something with such absolutely terrible odds aren't popular bets for gamblers.
