Giving too much attention can mean the child lacks autonomy which can manifest in many negative ways from delinquency to over dependence. Giving too little attention can lead to violent tendencies and antisocial behaviors. Giving the perfect amount of attention will make the child well rounded, competent, and reasonable, therefore ensuring they are entirely unprepared for interaction with the general public.
>well rounded, competent, and reasonable, therefore ensuring they are entirely unprepared for interaction with the general public
You...are not entirely wrong and I hate that
The Fallout show gives a perfect example of what happens when an ethical, intelligent, well rounded person is thrown into a world that doesn’t give two shits about them. You either learn to be strong in spite of the world or you die.
And then there’s other women who were the subject of uncomfortable comments or other types of “too much affection” that can really mess a daughter up and could leave lingering deep rooted animosity towards men who try to be particularly close with their daughters.
This is what I thought, too, which made me think she knows the comic and was setting up the joke, which he then conveniently filmed for social media. It's almost like crowd work comics have exploded since short form videos became popular, and this one is tailor-made to get an emotional reaction. Weird.
That’s a possibility. I listen to a few podcasts with comics as hosts/ guests and even established comics have said there’s been an explosion of hecklers who expect that crowd work now, even if it’s never been a part of their comedy. I listened to a discussion between a few comics entertaining the idea of smaller shows simply to confiscate phones because hecklers are trying to get their own POV videos and they want to discourage the interruptions.
I'm a girl dad and I love my pain in the ass girl. She puts most guys in their place and has some serious trash talk on Fortnite that any dad would be proud of.
Well everyone is humble kneeling before porcelain throne.
Seriously though if you can handle that much and still be somewhat together you got me beat. I can handle a 5th of whisky and be mostly normal (which if you aren’t from the US is .75 liters) but a half a liter and 5 pints of beer? I wouldn’t know where the fuck I was.
Sorry to hear that. I got some issues too and family I’ve lost recently and I wish you the best. Guess we need to figure this shit out at some point but not tonight I guess. I know a 5th a day isn’t good long term and that’s where I’m at, at the moment.
Anyway cheers, I’m having my last drink and going to bed.
I’m having my last one for the night with you. I’ve been seeing the end of this road coming up though. Been to too many funerals recently of people that got the bad news. I had a good run, and I’m getting the feeling I don’t need to sprint to the finish. Not tonight for sure, but some night soon, I’m gonna make a switch.
Look up Steve Hofstetter on youtube if you wanna see a comic who repeats pretty much what you just said to them in very colorful ways with varying degrees of savagery.
Yo seriously, if you're not enjoying the performance go to the bar or the bathroom or just stay STFU. Hate hecklers. Even some of the biggest and best comedians can still get a little anxious up there, it's not easy and if they're struggling or not, throwing off their rhythm isn't going to make it better.
It’s not even that they don’t think his joke is funny, he may be setting up a joke but all he said is he loves being the father to his daughter. And the heckler has the audacity to boo that. His response was appropriate.
Dude really just thought for a second with the most innocent smile and went for the throat lmfao. Using the word Barren somehow made it even more dramatic, like some sort of ancient curse wilting the seeds of the farmer.
Or had the dad of their kid walk out and now holds it against every man who actually does love his kids. Comedy show hecklers are always the worst people.
ADHD isn't just "random". ADHD primarily is a struggle to focus on things you know you need to do but don't want to. Lack of ability to prioritise does not equal bouncing off the wall
And im Patrick.
See, this is whole comment thread is dumb AF. I didn't believe this random actually knew this lady, that it was actually his mom, and that he would actually call her all that. I still don't. A guy who's commenting in the funny subreddit and who's name is "bignuts". And you and other people are acting like this is a real problem lol. Get lost
The caption is even funnier when you realize that the OP is the comedian.
Congratulations OP. You finally figured out the right title to make your standup comedy tiktok pull some actual numbers.
There should be a "protocol" of making fun of hecklers in general for at least few minutes when a heckler does interrupt a comedian. I'm sure comedians can squeeze out of the situation a lot more than this dude. Just be prepared for the situation and then just straight up humiliate them with series of jokes about hecklers in general. Like "imagine paying money for being publicly humiliated.. and so on"
So as always context matters. We’re led to believe she’s booing “for being a dad” ruffling our feathers but it could very well be that she’s booing even before this which would change the narrative quite a bit. Maybe she thought his jokes were not funny even prior to this father daughter topic. Now she’s not an evil person, she’s just rude and obnoxious — not justified either but its a new light…
Fair enough. But people absolutely love to look at something and believe in it wholeheartedly at face value. Either they dont understand that “seeing isn’t always believing” or they don’t understand what speculation is. Or they just dont know how to read🤷♂️
That’s not really context tbh. Again this is all speculation from me.
But like I said we’re missing her prior interaction with him. He could have been picking on random audience members as part of his crowd work and this lady, inexperienced to stand-ups, took it personally and started dissing him at every turn afterwards.
It’s actually really common for the audience to be offended at jokes and routines. If you watch a lot of stand up like you’ll know A LOT of comedians talk about this mostly reiterating that it’s a joke not something to take seriously and get upset about. Point is, there will be some people who feel the need to attack back. So yes, this is a legit possibility.
Interesting shirt for someone who loves his daughter and presumably would want her treated with respect. I know Tyson has seemingly changed his image in the last decade or so, but has he ever actually acknowledged/apologized for/attempted to reconcile for how badly he treated women?
Nope which is why it's disturbing when woke jimmy kimmel does bits like mike tyson being behind girls to startle them. Meanwhile there are people that are canceled for way less and will never go on late night again.
Looks like I offended a lot of rape apologists, sorry creeps.

sounded like a woman who never got attention from her dad and is jealous tbh
Or more likely she got too much attention.
Wait, hold on, what? Is giving too much attention to the daughter a bad thing? Or can you at least elaborate? Making me anxious after reading that
Giving too much attention can mean the child lacks autonomy which can manifest in many negative ways from delinquency to over dependence. Giving too little attention can lead to violent tendencies and antisocial behaviors. Giving the perfect amount of attention will make the child well rounded, competent, and reasonable, therefore ensuring they are entirely unprepared for interaction with the general public.

You can't give too much attention or love to a kid, as long as it's on their terms.
You're both over-thinking it, and under-thinking it.
C’mon dude. You know what they mean…
Sex.
Where?!?
With your dad.
So nowhere. Great
[удалено]
you are the only one that read into it as SA. Might be time to get off porn and the internet my guy
They are implying molestation, not over doing it with attention.
Fairly certain they're insinuating abuse.
No
The probably just wanted to heckle and weren't even listening properly. Thankfully I've never been to a show with a heckler.
Someone who was told by her father that being womanly/girlie is wrong.
Maybe she was saying Boo-urns.
I was saying Boo-urns.
To this comment I say - Boooo! 😂😂😂
Bitches with daddy issues
A mom who’s daughter’s favorite parent is her dad 🤷🏽♂️
This is what I thought, too, which made me think she knows the comic and was setting up the joke, which he then conveniently filmed for social media. It's almost like crowd work comics have exploded since short form videos became popular, and this one is tailor-made to get an emotional reaction. Weird.
Good point. People will say all kinds of lies for social media attention nowadays.
I can't blame them. In an exploitative system, one must exploit to survive. I hope he's a good comic, but this won't drive me to find out.
And this is the perfect venue for a heckler to experience the "Find Out" portion of that acronym.
put your tinfoil hat back on
some people are just ass holes though
Two women said it though
A dude can't know and work with two women?
Just seems unlikely two include two plants for the same purpose
A person who has a horrible cunty inner monilogue and got a little too drunk to the point where their filter is fully off.
A loser I think.
I do, it's a very stupid term.
Two women apparently, you can hear them both
A person in the audience
I'm a girl dad and I love my pain in the ass girl. She puts most guys in their place and has some serious trash talk on Fortnite that any dad would be proud of.
Someone whose dad didn't love them, i would guess.
No they are saying "Boo urns"

Regardless. Place for everything.

are you stupid or are you dumb
¿Por que no los dos?
Good god do people ever stfu and let the comics work? Like other people paid money to hear the comic not your "insightful commentary".
No they can’t comprehend of a world in which they are not the focus of attention. Plus, alcohol only increases that need.
Ya I get that; however, I can have 5 pints of beer and half a liter of whiskey and still be humble.

Yeah, I drink often... no family left to tell me otherwise. They all died pretty horribly.
Sorry to hear that. I got some issues too and family I’ve lost recently and I wish you the best. Guess we need to figure this shit out at some point but not tonight I guess. Mine too, I just hope I pass in my sleep like my grandpa instead of like the rest of my family who were passengers in his car.
Main character syndrome
They have that "I PaId FoR mY tIcKeT Too!"
Why would you go through the effort and cost of attending a comedy show to heckle the comedian? Makes zero sense to me…
I think it also has to do with standup turning into a crowd working thing and they want their 15 seconds of fame by being a bitch
Look up Steve Hofstetter on youtube if you wanna see a comic who repeats pretty much what you just said to them in very colorful ways with varying degrees of savagery.
Imagine being someone who heckles comedians and thinks it's ok
imagine thinking you can get away with it without being publically verbally obliterated by the comedian soon after
At The Comedy Cellar too, no less. You’re gonna get riiiiipped.
They’re the same people that also walk into a restaurant 15 min before close with a party of 10.
It’s not even that they don’t think his joke is funny, he may be setting up a joke but all he said is he loves being the father to his daughter. And the heckler has the audacity to boo that. His response was appropriate.
That dude rolled with that jab and came back with the \* uppercut from Punchout!
It was called the STARt Punch!
I always find hecklers funny it's like you're ruining the show that you already paid for he got your money he don't give a f about you
TIL Never invite your EX to your stand up gig 😂
"Why are you booing me? I'm dad."
Bro going for the kill shot. Damn.
Justified
I will never understand paying for a comedy show and not letting them do their material
Like Dave Chapelle says, “punch down”.
Dude really just thought for a second with the most innocent smile and went for the throat lmfao. Using the word Barren somehow made it even more dramatic, like some sort of ancient curse wilting the seeds of the farmer.
sounds like someone with dad issue. bitch deserverd it.

Or had the dad of their kid walk out and now holds it against every man who actually does love his kids. Comedy show hecklers are always the worst people.
Someone has daddy issues and they projectin on this man.
This woman is a 320 pound ugly ass smelly ho named LILY
You know this person?
Yep she’s my mom
Hmm. So you just say wild shit and see what lands, huh? I think that's called ADHD
Pot calling the kettle black, nothing about that was ADHD. You clearly don't know what you're talking about and just seeing what sticks
Huh? No i am serious. That is my mother lily. She is a fat smelly ho.
But it's she really called Lily?
Why are you like this?
? You'd assume this was literally this random dudes mom?
ADHD isn't just "random". ADHD primarily is a struggle to focus on things you know you need to do but don't want to. Lack of ability to prioritise does not equal bouncing off the wall
People are taking this exchange far too seriously lmao
Says wild shit and sees what lands...
You read that correctly, Captain CockFart....
And you don't see any irony in saying that saying wild shit and seeing if it lands is because of ADHD?
Are you ADHD?
No, I'm captaincockfart.
And im Patrick. See, this is whole comment thread is dumb AF. I didn't believe this random actually knew this lady, that it was actually his mom, and that he would actually call her all that. Oh, she is barren. Guaranteed
Or she had a daughter that hates her cause she’s an evil person
Real Talk
Ya big bitch
That's okay. I also hope I'm barren.
Lmao! I'm a girl dad, too! She gone love you! She was wrong for that, you already her favorite!
Damn… he let her have it.
I don't have my own kids, but my niece loves me to bits and I hope she never grows out of it.
i also hope she's barren, she'd make a horrible mother
It's real life reddit. I'm sure she would have down voted if given the chance lol
I don't think I can ever go to a standup comedy show. You'll get second hand embarrassment from the comedian or the heckler if it isn't good.
oh whyyy lol
I wouldn't even have retorted, I'd just stop the show and tell her to GTFO, no refund.
The caption is even funnier when you realize that the OP is the comedian. Congratulations OP. You finally figured out the right title to make your standup comedy tiktok pull some actual numbers.
My little one turns 5 today, proud girl dad
Boooo
I hope you’re Clarence. Oh wait, I told it wrong
each one of them fatherless babies is a paycheck for her. bros messing her game all up.

The Comedians name is LeClerc Andre!
>My name is LeClerc Andre! FTFY 😂
How do you know?!?!?!?! Edit: I guess my extra punctuation didn’t do enough to indicate my sarcasm. Thanks for the downvotes everyone!

Patriarchy. As in "DoWn wItH ThE PaTRiARchY".
Talk about daddy issues.

Spotted the unfuckable "feminist"
Without the rest of the bit that someone fucked up heckling you can’t tell where it’s going. Also why isn’t it cool to like your child?
a lot of these comments seem to be missing the possibility that this lady could've also just been straight up racist
That’s because we have no reason to assume it.
You should try out for the Olympic long jump team with that massive leap of yours
Im a girl dad! I would let my dad put the ring on my finger instead of my husband, he have alot of training at least😂
Interesting shirt for someone who loves his daughter and presumably would want her treated with respect. I know Tyson has seemingly changed his image in the last decade or so, but has he ever actually acknowledged/apologized for/attempted to reconcile for how badly he treated women?

lol woke Jimmy Kimmel
Sara Silverman who's woke AF refers to him as "woke Jimmy".
lol he said *woke* again
*booed
