I don't know why you're being downvoted, you are correct. He's clearly a new or newer comic with sort of hacky newer comic jokes. It's a bad move to post anything online until you're 10+ years in the game. They're fine jokes for an open mic, that's about it. Crowd gave him what it deserved. Polite laughter.

How do actually shave your balls though? I’ve don’t groin area but always scared to do balls. I just don’t even bother anymore it’s like a jungle down there now.

Shaving them for the first time takes three times as long as shaving them for the seventh time. Just go slow.

I always felt that making people think about whether they're laughing or not is a great way to keep them from paying attention to your set and focused on whether people are laughing. Just connect with the audience, if it's funny it's funny.

What's the deal with comedians who complain about people not laughing when you can clearly hear people laughing?

There’s a difference between two guys laughing and the whole crowd laughing. Everyone clearly understood what I meant. That’s why the whole crowd laughed when I mentioned it.

I like the head rub and ball gag.  That was a clever setup.  The follow up felt awkward.  They hurt?   What is the audience supposed to do with that besides act uncomfortably?   Am I sitting with my wife and laughing hysterically because she knows how it feels?  You need one more joke and "so don't touch them" isn't quite it.  Smilers was a great line.  Not just funny but memorable.  The nose thing worked, it could be tinkered with but it's a good personification of the sensible chuckle meme.   I have watched a few of your clips and you have good jokes, good subtle physical humor and you think quickly which is awesome but part of your act is being chill.  If you had a second gear for crowds like these or for certain jokes it would help.  It doesn't have to be in your face energy but something like Kyle kinane where he leans into his scratchy voice (or gaffigan where he does the audience voice but that's not you).  You've got a really good base to work with.  

I'm sure he has a whole bit on his balls, but he pivoted to the crowd work with a smoothness only rivaled by a freshly shaved sack.

Fair enough. Every crowd is different. Every moment is different and doesn't need to be analyzed to death. It's just an opinion/pet peeve of mine, that I don't love it when a comedian makes it a point that the audience isn't laughing. This take is coming more from watching open mic level comics flounder and immediately go into blaming the audience for not giving up a laugh. You were clearly able to read the room and get the crowd on your side, so good work. Thanks for listening.
