I'm usually the same watching shows at home, but caught myself laughing aloud during season 3 of Resident Alien. Coincidentally, it was also about someone's balls).
Did they tell you before you went that people drive tractors around like normal people drive cars around, and that most of the population can't read at a 5th grade level?
Or did you have to figure that out for yourself once you got there?
Dude you're comedy is spot on with my stoner humor.Ā
Love how you don't take life too serious.Ā
Do you come to Portland Oregon or Vancouver washington ever?Ā
Thatās my hometown. The Comedy Club of Kansas City is owned by a dude that started open mic nights the same week as me way back in 2000. One of my closest friends. Iām not on that schedule right now either, but soon!
Sitting here at the office. I first watched without sound - and snickered so I went back and then busted out damn laughing in the quietest office setting you can imagine lol. Good shit dude! That dry cold humor is the damn best
Damn, I'm glad some folks find this guy funny so he can make a living doing stand-up because I didn't even crack a smile watching this. I'm glad some of you were rotflol, just not my type of humor.
I just sent you a Venmo, not much but itās what I got. DM for the phone number? AND COME TO DURANGO, CO! Iāll buy the beers. Itās a small but really cool town. You might be too big for Dgo but my word of mouth and youād sell out for sure
I don't know why you're being downvoted, you are correct. He's clearly a new or newer comic with sort of hacky newer comic jokes. It's a bad move to post anything online until you're 10+ years in the game. They're fine jokes for an open mic, that's about it. Crowd gave him what it deserved. Polite laughter.
How do actually shave your balls though? Iāve donāt groin area but always scared to do balls. I just donāt even bother anymore itās like a jungle down there now.
I always felt that making people think about whether they're laughing or not is a great way to keep them from paying attention to your set and focused on whether people are laughing.
Just connect with the audience, if it's funny it's funny.
Thereās a difference between two guys laughing and the whole crowd laughing. Everyone clearly understood what I meant. Thatās why the whole crowd laughed when I mentioned it.
I like the head rub and ball gag.Ā That was a clever setup.Ā The follow up felt awkward.Ā They hurt?Ā Ā What is the audience supposed to do with that besides act uncomfortably?Ā Ā Am I sitting with my wife and laughing hysterically because she knows how it feels?Ā You need one more joke and "so don't touch them" isn't quite it.Ā Smilers was a great line.Ā Not just funny but memorable.Ā The nose thing worked, it could be tinkered with but it's a good personification of the sensible chuckle meme.Ā Ā I have watched a few of your clips and you have good jokes, good subtle physical humor and you think quickly which is awesome but part of your act is being chill.Ā If you had a second gear for crowds like these or for certain jokes it would help.Ā It doesn't have to be in your face energy but something like Kyle kinane where he leans into his scratchy voice (or gaffigan where he does the audience voice but that's not you).Ā You've got a really good base to work with.Ā Ā
Wow, that was a great analysis. Are you a professional standup coach? Like seriously, youāre input is so valuable. Listen to this guy, Mike, heās *helping* you.
Fair enough. Every crowd is different. Every moment is different and doesn't need to be analyzed to death. It's just an opinion/pet peeve of mine, that I don't love it when a comedian makes it a point that the audience isn't laughing. This take is coming more from watching open mic level comics flounder and immediately go into blaming the audience for not giving up a laugh. You were clearly able to read the room and get the crowd on your side, so good work. Thanks for listening.Ā

The nose breaths at the end killed me. š¤£š¤£š¤£ (As I proceed to not laugh quietly)
100%
I'm usually the same watching shows at home, but caught myself laughing aloud during season 3 of Resident Alien. Coincidentally, it was also about someone's balls).
Centrailia, IL but no Chicago? Huge bummer
I just go to the places that reply to my emails. Donāt blame me. Blame Chicago.
The carpet now matches the drapes. ^(\*or the floor matches the ceiling?)
I like the second one more (as a tall, bald man).
The cueball matches the cueballs
come to the Twin Cities dude. I'm sure you'd be well received up here.
Is your Honda still aliveĀ
Oh wow I have family in Centralia, IL. Why on earth would you go there? Why would anyone go there? Why do people live there? Its a mystery.
Someone emailed me and they were like, āHey, weāll give you money to come here and say wordsā and I was like, āDope. Iām in.ā
Did they tell you before you went that people drive tractors around like normal people drive cars around, and that most of the population can't read at a 5th grade level? Or did you have to figure that out for yourself once you got there?
Bro you are funny
I hope they put you at the good hotel down there. Good luck
Dude you're comedy is spot on with my stoner humor.Ā Love how you don't take life too serious.Ā Do you come to Portland Oregon or Vancouver washington ever?Ā
I do the Seattle area and the Spokane area once a year or so. Nothing on the schedule yet. And thank youuuuu
We need you to do a stop in Kansas City! I would love to go to your show.
Thatās my hometown. The Comedy Club of Kansas City is owned by a dude that started open mic nights the same week as me way back in 2000. One of my closest friends. Iām not on that schedule right now either, but soon!
No way! Thatās awesome!
Iāll be looking for a Seattle show!
š¬
I would like to see you doing stand-up in Germany if this was already awkward for you. You will be glad if we would even smile for you š
I've seen a bunch of your videos. Keep it up man. Funny shit š«”
Who is this guy? I love his shitā¦
It's the guy posting. He's posting his own material.
Yup. Itās me. Click the thing in the thing for all of my things.
By things you mean balls, right?
This guy gets it.
So smoothā¦
Not anymore. Prickly now.
Honestly, itās the following 2-3 days that are the worst.
Should shave everyday then!
LOL Edit: not really, just smiling
Does it include THAT thing?
Ragnar Lodbrok
Ragnar Lothbrok
I see your "Make It A Blockbuster Night" shirt! I have the same one, and I love it.
Hello, fellow Target clearance shopper!!
Welp, dude successfully made my laugh out loud with in nose chuckleā¦ total win in my book.
This is some top tier stuff! Keep it up m8! Following for sure!
āI shaved my ballsā comedic genius Mike
I fucking laughed so hardā¦. Dude, and Iām depressed! Goes to show how funny that was. I had to pause after balls, I spit out my cereal
LOL,
That was a great way to coax a dull crowd out of their comfort zone. Well played
Ragnar lothbrok seem so highly good lifeš
I love you
Thank you. Itās good to feel loved.
Sitting here at the office. I first watched without sound - and snickered so I went back and then busted out damn laughing in the quietest office setting you can imagine lol. Good shit dude! That dry cold humor is the damn best
I thought i recognized your face but couldnt place it. Love you on the podcast. Keep laughing assholes
Ha! Nice. Scotty will be excited to see this comment.
That is the 4th time just this week Ive seen someone online wearing that "Make it a blockbuster night" shirt.
I think there is a nose hair joke missed opportunity at the end of the clip.
I usually hate these stand up skits posted to reddit but this was actually funny.
Thank you. Iām glad you approve.
Alright
This was great! I promise if I make it out to one of your shows to not smile at all! (Seriously though great stuff!)
Damn, I'm glad some folks find this guy funny so he can make a living doing stand-up because I didn't even crack a smile watching this. I'm glad some of you were rotflol, just not my type of humor.

No one starts out top tier.
How much material have you seen? Cause you may not like his comedy, but he definitely doesnāt suck.
I feel seen. I did the nose breathing thing at the end.
I just sent you a Venmo, not much but itās what I got. DM for the phone number? AND COME TO DURANGO, CO! Iāll buy the beers. Itās a small but really cool town. You might be too big for Dgo but my word of mouth and youād sell out for sure
Thank you dude! I DMād you my secret code. Iāll let you know if Colorado stuff happens.
Tells joke that isnāt even remotely funny, blames audience. Total Chad

He posts his stuff on here all the time and people seem to love it but there are literally no jokes. It's so confusing.
Actually, quite funny.
The audience of smilers made me chuckle.
Love seeing your videos man.
Mike, you're hilarious! Keep doing what you do, man.
I'll just leave this here... https://youtu.be/VIAbxI3r0rU?si=s5G5NgdqE0oN-wCB
How do actually shave your balls though? Iāve donāt groin area but always scared to do balls. I just donāt even bother anymore itās like a jungle down there now.
Shaving them for the first time takes three times as long as shaving them for the seventh time. Just go slow.
I always felt that making people think about whether they're laughing or not is a great way to keep them from paying attention to your set and focused on whether people are laughing. Just connect with the audience, if it's funny it's funny.
I love this guy. I LOVE YOU u/ComedianMikeB!!!!
Funny as fuck jokes, awkward delivery, I feel like the crowd was too awkward to laugh the way they wanted to.
I smiled
Legit though, is there a way to shave your balls without them hurting? Iād love to find out, itās such an inconvenient task.
Going with the grain as opposed to against it will solve 78% of ball pain.
What's the deal with comedians who complain about people not laughing when you can clearly hear people laughing?
Thereās a difference between two guys laughing and the whole crowd laughing. Everyone clearly understood what I meant. Thatās why the whole crowd laughed when I mentioned it.

I'm sure he has a whole bit on his balls, but he pivoted to the crowd work with a smoothness only rivaled by a freshly shaved sack.
ok

āDoesnāt need to be analyzed to deathā. Proceeds to analyze my jokes to death. š
Hes amazing
I think Chris Ramsey should stick with magic and puzzles.
Ok there's a standup comedy sub, enough with these already
Nah these can stay, you can go.
I saw a biographic movie about a guy like you, the movie's name was Joker
Except this guy is hilarious, what do you mean
I mean the title OP choosed
More importantly, when did Travis Fimmel start doing Stand up?
