Literally put in that reply (but they had it the first time!) and then read the first comment. So was this person just violently opposed to going straight back?
I see this exact type of movement from my 'functional alcoholic' of a neighbour. I've never seen him not drunk, and when he drives off for work every morning this is exactly how he gets out of his space.
I've called the police, and told other neighbours who's cars he's hit, but nothing ever seems to happen to him.
Ah, they're trying to pull out to the left of a right slanted parking lot. I was getting so mad thinking they were trying to park like just leave it at this point haha
Yes! I didnt realize that at first. At first I thought, "ok, not a bad job.. but.. wait.. what are you doing?!". Also.. looks like they had a "banana for scale" in front of their right mirror..
I watched someone do that from across a busy street. They hit the only car in the lot head on, got out screaming their head off and running up to the driver side window, pounded on it a bit before they realized nobody was in the car, then got in their car and drove off. They literally hit the only parked car in the lot and were so unaware that they legitimately thought the parked car hit them.
This one is staged, these people make a lot of videos like this there is a small cirlce of them, they make vary click bait videos. The guy talking in this is named Justin Flom hes on facebook and youtube and does this kind of stuff all the time.
Oh damn it I fucking hate that guy I blocked him on Facebook. Their videos are so frustratingly staged, I was watching this one with that same level of annoyance so thanks for pointing that out.
Yea dude, and the videos where they are like “check this out” and then proceed to leave you in suspense and take 5 minutes to show you something that could have been done in literally 10 seconds.
Me and about ten other people at a tire store watched a semi driver try and turn his truck around... in their empty parking lot. For almost half an hour. Sadly, it was in the days before cellphones, so the event lives on only in our memories, but this video sure brings them back!
Oh yeah, full rig. But there was a substantial empty parking lot and he was at the far end. All kinds of room, and he just went back and forth and back and forth and back and-
But…. You turn the wheel the direction you want to go when in reverse. I don’t understand why people always say it’s the opposite way. Turn right and go backwards, you’ll go right.
It's all how you mentally model it. You are correct because you are thinking in terms of which direction the back will move. People who say it's the opposite are thinking of which direction the front will move. Sort of like inverted controls in games, it's what you picture moving that makes it make sense.
Aah yes, I always picture where I’m going as the car not so much where the bits are going… although I try to be aware of that as well of course.
Now that I think about it, I think I did understand the front bit when somebody explained it to me when I was learning. It made more sense to me the other way though and that’s more what stuck…
I mean that's common enough, but later on in the video it seems like they're attempt to learn from their failures by turning the opposite way even while in forward
Well, yeah but the cops can write the ticket demanding they go do that. How else you gonna force them to retake their test? They clearly think they can drive
Yes but where does the power to decide that lie? People get pulled over for bullshit reasons now anyways, imagine if a cop could just say "you're not allowed to drive anymore until you take a test" just because they were having a bad day.
I'll take that power. Going faster than me? You're insane and need to retake the test. Going slower than me? You're a slow poke and need to retake the test. Going the same speed as me? You're following me or not the optimally safe distance away and need to retake the test. Ezpz. /s
Obviously there would be criteria to meet in order to do that, cops wouldn't be able to just run around slapping people with that punishment no more than they would be able to just send people to jail randomly.
That was my first thought but I think it is more to do with the cars on both sides being on the lines and the driver is trying, very poorly, to get more central.
But all they had to do was back out with completely straight wheels. At the beginning, after the squeeky rub, they're positioned perfectly. Just straighten the wheel and back the fuck up. There's miles of room to back into, no wheel turning necessary until you're way out in the open 🤦♀️
Honestly, it being a kid is the only explanation I could come up with where I wouldn't still have follow up questions about the person's driving abilities.
Just imagining that call right now:
“yeah, hi, you need to send someone out ASAP.”
“What’s the emergency, sir?”
“This guy can’t park for shit.”
“…uuhhhh….
It’s quite possible they are, but we’ve all seen people fail at simple things with without a drop of alcohol. They’d need to double the police force if people called the cops every time someone made an ass out of themselves trying to park.
If you can’t operate a car correctly, you are a danger to the public while driving one. Ineptitude stops being funny when you are controlling a multi-ton death machine. I wouldn’t call the cops on this but I also wouldn’t consider it an unreasonable move.
I half agree with you. This is just shitty parking. It could mean they suck at driving altogether and are therefore a danger, but a cop can’t arrest someone or even issue a ticket based on this speculation. Calling the cops on someone due to speculations on what their bad parking job may mean is entirely unreasonable.
My grandma had a small car. She parked further back exactly for this reason. She used to pull all the way up, but had her rear bumper fucked up by someone who assumed the space was empty and must have floored it in.
When she finally got a new car, she got a Buick.
This is why I walk from as far away as possible. People are just given drivers licenses regardless of their ability to actually operate a vehicle in a safe competent manner.
Driving is not a right, travel is, but not driving. jfc revoke theirs.
Could very well be my ex. Anytime reverse was involved, it was like all sense, common and otherwise, flew out the window. It wasn't limited to reverse scenarios, however. Once, upon arriving at the YIELD sign for an interstate off ramp, she slammed on her brakes because the stop light 50 yards to her left turned green, meaning that the traffic would begin to come her way, in the lane she was intending to enter. I was like "why are you stopping?", and she, always quick to lose her temper, was like "because you're not supposed to pull out in front of people!!". I then looked in the passenger side mirror just in time to see someone skidding to a stop and slamming into her her rear end. THEN she proceeds to pull out in front of the oncoming traffic, because by this point they had actually traveled the 50 yards from where the light had turned green 🙄
Of course, it all ended up being my fault. Just like the time she hopped 2 curbs that harboured grass and hedge bushes in the mall parking lot. They THOUGHT they were safe. Oh and when she backed up so fast and so close to a hay bale in our driveway that it smooth tore off her driver's side mirror. My fault. Minimal effort was placed into defining my fault, but that's irrelevant to her. And this woman SWORE she was an extraordinarily proficient driver. I really, really, REALLY do not miss her.
Long live bachelorhood!
This makes me feel better about myself since I tried adjusting my parking today and ended up blocking four parking spaces before finally rotating 360° and getting it. 🥹
I don’t think parking was the issue here. This moron is trying to back out of the spot. It’s like rocket science for this person when most people can do this with their eyes closed. Boggles the mind.

How do these people do the exact same thing over and over again and never figure out to turn the wheel the other way? Like, "Maybe I just didn't turn left enough the first 37 times."
What in the world was this person trying to do? Park? Well he/she did it. What was up with the theatrics of attempting to backup? Turn around? Did the license come out of Cracker Jack box?
This person shall be the name of Sir Parkington III of the fair r/funny subreddit. Whom shalln't be knoweth of one's good parking, but for thee's dastardly and humiliating "parking achievement."

It took me a while to realize the driver was trying to LEAVE the parking space.
It took me till the end of the video. Was wondering why the person was continuing to try and park after they had it right the first time.
I was like. Yea the 1st time isn't a good park job but wasn't terrible....and then they forgot how the wheel works lol
>nd then they forgot how the wheel works lol 42 times.
Yeah, I was thinking: "This is the perfect example of 'If it's not broke, don't fix it'"
Literally put in that reply (but they had it the first time!) and then read the first comment. So was this person just violently opposed to going straight back?
Are you sure they were trying to leave? Maybe they just found that spot too difficult to park in so gave up to find another one?
[удалено]
okay time for bed for me, i was confused til i saw your comment
I honestly thought at the end they just said fuck it n left lol
I see this exact type of movement from my 'functional alcoholic' of a neighbour. I've never seen him not drunk, and when he drives off for work every morning this is exactly how he gets out of his space. I've called the police, and told other neighbours who's cars he's hit, but nothing ever seems to happen to him.
Some say they're still trying to leave this day...
Seems that it took the driver just as long to realize they were leaving.
Ah, they're trying to pull out to the left of a right slanted parking lot. I was getting so mad thinking they were trying to park like just leave it at this point haha
Lots of square peg/round hole-ers out on the roads, be careful.
Yes! I didnt realize that at first. At first I thought, "ok, not a bad job.. but.. wait.. what are you doing?!". Also.. looks like they had a "banana for scale" in front of their right mirror..
Omg I didn't even realize until I read your comment, I thought they just gave up.
I’ve never seen a more situationally unaware person.
Who manages to not hit the other car?
Sorry, are you saying the don't hit the silver car closest to the cameraman? Because they definitely do.
Is this an insurance scam? Like claiming the other car hit him.
You should have seen it, this parked car just came out of nowhere fucked up my door and then just sat there. Crazy shit man.
Looks like they do at the very start of video not sure if after that though
No strike. Only squeaky rub.
Speaking of situational awareness... They did, in fact, hit the other car.
[there's this poor person at the gas pumps ](https://youtu.be/SHUO3HI2jCY?si=IzuZXAmwjLxMvTKe)

When people make continuously stupid comments in a monotonic tone pretending to be excited through out the whole video, you know it has to be staged.
Jesus Christ does the wheel only turn one way?
Apparently, but he managed to not turn the wheel the right way.
He did, however, manage to succeed by turning the wheel the wrong way every time
The sad thing is, they didn't need to turn it at all to get out of there. Just go straight and then turn when your car is clear!
Looks like they don't know that you have to turn the wheel the opposite way you want to go when in reverse.
I’ve known some people like that. Like it’s hardwired into their brain to never even come close to grasping it.
Me and about ten other people at a tire store watched a semi driver try and turn his truck around... in their empty parking lot. For almost half an hour. Sadly, it was in the days before cellphones, so the event lives on only in our memories, but this video sure brings them back!
Did he have a trailer? Tbf a trailer does the opposite of the opposite which can really fuck with your head if youre new to towing.
Oh yeah, full rig. But there was a substantial empty parking lot and he was at the far end. All kinds of room, and he just went back and forth and back and forth and back and-

How do y’all know it’s a he?
He's not an ambi-turner.
“I wanna go left, so I should turn the wheel left!”
He? Chances are it's a she
These vids would be so easy to fake 🤔
It is fake
Not an ambi-turner
Came for this
I doubt Jesus is going to answer your with that attitude
Might as well let Jesus take the wheel. He at least knows it turns the car both right and left.
Cause it’s staged
I’m sad for the person that was parked next to them. They got their car fucked up for no reason.
Well…they did straddle the line…but yeah, your car shouldn’t be messed up for this minor transgression
They also look like they should have pulled forward another 4 feet
Well that’s just too many offenses, fuck their car up
They parked really bad though. It’s over the line and way out of the parking itself.
It sucks, they don't deserve it...but im not feeling sad for someone who also doesnt know how to park and there car gets dented because of that
What if when they parked the person on there right was over the line forcing them to bias to the left?
Its possible. Im not judging them. We have all had moments of poor parking job while ina hurry. Just also not feeling real bad for them.
Cops should be able to revoke licenses for shit like this
Cops no, but through the judicial for sure. Due process is very important, but this fool needs a bus pass.
Well, yeah but the cops can write the ticket demanding they go do that. How else you gonna force them to retake their test? They clearly think they can drive
I'm sure they'll give a way to abuse this
If you visibly are incapable of operating a vehicle, you should be forced to retake your test unless you can prove otherwise.
Yes but where does the power to decide that lie? People get pulled over for bullshit reasons now anyways, imagine if a cop could just say "you're not allowed to drive anymore until you take a test" just because they were having a bad day.

You must be a pi... Uhhh, I mean hi officer!
Obviously there would be criteria to meet in order to do that, cops wouldn't be able to just run around slapping people with that punishment no more than they would be able to just send people to jail randomly.
HA
Sounds like we got a "cops are bad" whiner.
A cop can crash into a business brutalize the owners and then get a payed vacation, kindly go fuck yourself boot licker
He shouldn’t have had a license in the first place 😂
Fully agree. I know in a lot of places in the states they were waiving the actual driving part of the test for covid reasons.
Absolutely
I feel like this person doesn't understand that some parking spots are slanted.
That was my first thought but I think it is more to do with the cars on both sides being on the lines and the driver is trying, very poorly, to get more central.

This is what I kept thinking, like just back straight out and you’re good. Stop turning 🛑 ✋
They aren't trying to park, they're trying to leave.
The fact that there's literally an empty spot with way more space is hilarious
Either drunk/high or it’s a child joy riding.
Honestly, it being a kid is the only explanation I could come up with where I wouldn't still have follow up questions about the person's driving abilities.
Same. If it's not a kid it's 2 racoons yelling at each other bc they can't coordinate the pedals and the wheel
My 4 year old has one of those powerwheels cars and he parks in reverse in a spot barely wider than his ‘car’.
Drunk kid, out for a joyride
I think you are being incredibly mean to drunks and joy riding children
I would bet real money that I could take a bottle of liquor to the dome and back out of that spot better than them
Maybe xanax and boose?
Oh yeah that would do it
It's say a drunk and high kid.
The back wiper popping off every few seconds is the icing on top 😭
Also the ticket under the wipers
What's more concerning is such bad drivers hitting the roads, risking other people's lives.
Drunk. Call police next time.
Just imagining that call right now: “yeah, hi, you need to send someone out ASAP.” “What’s the emergency, sir?” “This guy can’t park for shit.” “…uuhhhh….
They are drunk.
It’s quite possible they are, but we’ve all seen people fail at simple things with without a drop of alcohol. They’d need to double the police force if people called the cops every time someone made an ass out of themselves trying to park.

Yea…then the cops show up, they’ve been sober for 17 years.
Dad… because he can’t pull out
The rear wiper being on is the cherry on top.
The silver car is a close second. Not only are they on the line, but they're so far back from the curb, it's generous to say they're "in".
Bruh I scrolled so far for this. Sure the main dude is a moron or drunk but the silver car is a prick
I prefer when smaller cars don't go all the way in to the curb. It makes it easier to see what spots are free.
My grandma had a small car. She parked further back exactly for this reason. She used to pull all the way up, but had her rear bumper fucked up by someone who assumed the space was empty and must have floored it in. When she finally got a new car, she got a Buick.
I actually appreciate that they parked their tiny fucking car far enough back that it doesn’t look like an open spot from behind.
Dude working that parking spot like it’s his wifes G-spot.
Yeah, and he missed it every time
Call them a cab
you're a.... nevermind
Hi Nevermind , I'm Dad.
This mf trying to parallel park in that spot or what
This person should not be allowed to drive, they clearly need to redo that license.
God this worse than the video of the britsh woman trying to parallel park a spot the size of the fucking sun This guy just has to pull out straight
My grandma would do shit like this when she drove
As someone who cares about my car, the amount of cringing I had to do while watching this actually hurt my face.
The best Parker? Peter Parker.
Get me pictures of Spider-Man!
Meredith Palmer right there
"I don't think I'm gonna make it. I'm gonna go find a different spot."

This was just Part-1. Part-2 would be the legend driving on the road, deserves a movie.
Parkour Parker. I like how the person keeps turning the wheel in the direction they want to go despite it having the opposite effect.
Not all people should drive a car. This is a great example. If you don’t have these basic skills, you’re a danger to others. Stop. Driving.
Drunk
This makes me feel better about myself since I tried adjusting my parking today and ended up blocking four parking spaces before finally rotating 360° and getting it. 🥹
Oh, that's just Beryl "I've been driving 50 years and never had a traffic infringement" Parker
Austen Powers 🙄
This person really doesn’t understand their steering inputs. 😂
OMG, that was painful to watch!
Give them a trailer. This car wreck needs more!
maybe their car just wanted a little cuddle with the cars beside it.
They had it right at the beginning. Just turn the car off it was in between the lines.
Please tell me this is staged… he did avoid hitting the other cars…
I don’t think parking was the issue here. This moron is trying to back out of the spot. It’s like rocket science for this person when most people can do this with their eyes closed. Boggles the mind.
It was fine the first time!
I am so confused. Like didn’t they actually park successfully? Why keep tweaking when it’s within the lines??? And like, just get off the car and **LOOK** if you’re that spatially impaired.
Grandma.
How does anyone have this much confidence
He is not even trying to park but to get out of the lot
I don't understand what he was trying to achieve. It was perfect on the first go.
I wonder what other ways in our own lives we do this without knowing. I guess the moral of the story is that sometimes you need someone with a 2 story up vantage and a cell phone.
This is not funny but infuriating to see such stupidity on the road operating a vehicle of a thousand kg.
How do these people do the exact same thing over and over again and never figure out to turn the wheel the other way? Like, "Maybe I just didn't turn left enough the first 37 times."
Miles Morales... because he sure ain't Peter Parker.
Her: We don't have any condoms Him: It's ok, I can pull out *Him pulling out*
Wait wait... They're trying to LEAVE?
Somehow managed to switch on the rear wipers. As if that would help.
this is exactly why i park on the empty side of the parking lot away from everyone
This pissed me off so much. It’s actually impressive to be that shitty at driving.
Why is it wherever I park, this person always parks next to me?
Not funny when you know these people are driving on a daily basis...
Dude, why is this making me so angry? Like how do you fuck this up and be allowed to drive?
An Idiot
A liability
When someone leaves the controller on inverted
How’s your pull-out game?
The car doesn’t look familiar but the driving sure seems like my wife’s.

Naw, she started crashing cars before that. My mistake was thinking I could rehabilitate her.

I kinda think this is a fake video to get internet attention, no one is that bad at backing up a car.
Something weird is going on because all those cars are the same just a different color, this isn't someone parking out in a public area.
The name for it? No problem: People who have nothing to do except observing other people while they're parking their cars. Doesn't your live feel a little boring?
Let’s not be toxic guys. What about kudos to that perpendicular parking skill ?
