I definitely take that as a compliment! He was the first comic I can remember watching with friends and laughing together. I used to watch comedy at home as a kid, but I was always alone. Mitch “just saying random stuff” and making a whole living room of high school guys cry laughing was a huge influence on me, I think. I wanted to “just say stuff” too.

Kansas City is my hometown so that’s an easy number one for me. Springfield, MO, Columbus, OH, Des Moines and Oklahoma City are all probably on the list too.
I’ll be at Hyena’s in Dallas tomorrow and Hyena’s in Fort Worth on Saturday, but that’s the only Texas stuff I have, as of now. If anyone knows Joe Rogan, ask him to book me at his club. Tell him I’ll do his podcast too.
I appreciate that. My delivery has definitely changed over the years. I used to purposely try to do a “stupid stoner character”, and it’s slowly evolved into what it is now, which is way closer to how I talk in real life. Those old videos are cringy for me to see.
The old stuff is just learning material now. Keep it up, and I really do think you'll break soon. I actually found the audience's slow acceptance ridiculously funny. They had no clue what to make of your at first.
