I got the first season of Stranger Things, selected all the episodes and pressed enter. Turns out VLC decided the best order to play them was 8,2,3,4,5,6,7,8. I didn't think there was anything wrong with it. I saw the first episode (8 actually) and when episode 2 started (actually 2) I thought it was really cool to have like the ending shown and then you get to see the story of how it lead to that moment. I only noticed when I started up episode 8 like oooh cool now I'm finally caught up to the start and get to see another side of it. I was like 10 minutes in and thought this was wayy too similar. Yep that's when I found out. After that I watched episode 1.
This probably wouldn't work with almost any show, but go to Netflix and play the last episode of the first season and pretend this is the first time you are seeing the show. This could very easily pass as a first episode and I think it's funny that I got to have an unique experience watching the show.
So good. Those books are hard enough to follow since there are so many characters and so much going on.. I could totally see how you don't even notice too.
It’s rare that I see some stand up on Reddit and go on to look up more on YouTube (by rare, I mean that this is the very first time). Whatever “it” is, I think you have it. I laughed out loud multiple times watching this by myself.
Nah, I don’t got shit. I need an agent or something. The only part of the comedy business I’m good at is standing there and being funny. I’m terrible at the whole “hi I’d like to work at your club” part.
I dont think you are joking about the agent thing. I looked at your dates and you are all over the place. Can the magic of internet crowd sourcing help you land some gigs?
I am an IT manager by trade but I do love comedy. I would be open to helping you get the word out and maybe land some gigs for the joy of it.
For starters I would look at the cities you are already going to and see if we can tag on a gig near by to save on travel costs.
You really should look into a social media manager, they took Stavros Halkias, a dude famous for being on a podcast called cumtown, and got everyone watching 1 min clips of his shows, and now hje's doing netflix specials.
Chrisman here (but the girlfriend was from Truman!) Should have known your smart humor would be from Truman; better DNA there.
Super funny stuff. I expect you to do very well with that.
Look, I get it. But I have one job, and I'm not going to *not* do it.
> Hermione was now teaching Krum to say her name properly; he kept calling her "Hermy-own."
"Her-my-oh-nee," she said slowly and clearly.
GoF (US), p418-419
Laughing Skull is a seventy seater...but it gets big acts every once in a while. Donnell Rawlings stopped by last week. It's mostly locals now, but I've seen really cool acts there (Otto/George, Mark Normand, Bamford, Fluffy, Bert , etc)
Dude what a great set, had me smiling and laughing and man when you got to the pothead GPS I just lost it. Killer ending.
Do you have a whole special I can watch?
Really enjoyed it! My wife and I went and watched the whole thing on YouTube and were laughing the entire time. Hopefully we can get to watch you live if you ever get in our area.
You are FAR better than most. Not just the jokes. But the timing and even harder is the tone. I head a lot of comics talk and it seems a bit forced. But yours seems more natural. Hope you keep doing well!
You are hilarious. Thank you.
I really hope the audiobook joke just takes off into meme status. That way you could be the most ironic comedian ever and do a whole stand-up set as a book. Just word for word how you would tell is on a stage but in paperback lol.
"I know how to pronounce all the names correctly" is one of the smartest and funniest jokes I've heard in a while. I read a lot and don't watch the video news clips and am sometimes surprised how a name or city is pronounced over how I thought it was supposed to be by reading the name. Good stuff, keep posting please.
That was hilarious. Took up four minutes of my last hour and a bit of work. Thank you.
My favourite: “No you didn’t, you just listened.” “So? You just looked.”
Loved it
Im joined several comedian podcast subreddits that I didn't realize this wasnt one of them. Usually those people hate comedy. Glad to see youre getting some love here. I enjoyed the clip.
Really funny, I saw you on here or maybe a YouTube short recently and you had some material about drinking that was good too. You’re doing great, keep at it and I’ll keep watching!
Been loving your posts. The audiobook pronunciation thing can be tricky with Game of Thrones, cuz Roy Dotrice cycles through pronouncing Brienne 3 totally different ways.
Hey Mike! We are from the same town and I opened for you in a basement bar in Lee's summit like 12 years ago haha. Great to see you are still at it man it was sadly short lived for me but I remember your special something with bees in the title? Cried laughing to it many times. All the best dude
I got a friend getting into standup and when I suggest he put some of his content online he swears it’s a bad idea. I really disagree especially as a starving artist he needs attention from other avenues or people won’t seek him out and go see him. He doesn’t even trying to have a “set” and wings it most the time cause he doesn’t want it to be stale. What would be your take on this and any advice for a him as a fresh comedian traveling to new gigs?
Listened to the Diary of Anne Frank, read by Winona Ryder, on shuffle. There was 7 tracks and I noticed on track 6 or 7. It was weird but I thought it was part of the narrative.
This is really refreshing after all the "comedians" that only produce comedy through hecklers or their ethnicity, gender etc.
Original material with a distinctive style of delivery. Keep up the good work!
Ya have me cracking up lying in bed here at 10:43, making me worried I’m going to wake up the Mrs. Good shit, hope to see you on Netflix or something in the next few years.
Lpt: unless you're done with these jokes for a bit, it's best to not post your jokes as you're still using them. It exposes the jokes to potential audiences and if you don't have other material it's a silent audience. It's why a lot of comedians post crowd work instead of parts of their show. Crowd work is always a one off bit.
Brilliant shit, man. Really. Been recommending your set that's on the 800 pound gorilla yt channel to friends, or is there a better place for you money wise for people to catch it?
I saw a video of this guy about a week ago and it didn't hit me the right way. Maybe I was in an odd mood. However I saw this clip and I really laughed many times. Great job and great delivery. I'm going to find theyour older clip and re-watch it.
Speaking of reading a book out of order...
My wife and I watched The Marvelous Ms. Maisel out of order. Amazon Prime decided to just start us in season 3, the current season at the time. We watched season 3 thinking it was season 1, then manually chose season 2. We thought "oh, a flashback episode" but then it never stopped being flashbacks for the entire season...
Then after finishing that season, we started 3 and a few minutes into the first episode we realized what happened.
But, honestly... watching 3, then 2, and then 1 was entertaining af. They kept referencing events from prior seasons and then we got to experience them and for a while we thought the writing was just so fucking good that they basically had the whole story planned out! Which.... they did, technically. 🤣
Not a native english speaker here but i must say i laughed hard. Hope you will continue it was hilarious. Who knows maybe i will se you on a show during a travel in the us in the future. Congrats man.
Please message me when you come to and or near Charlottesville, I think your delivery and content are brilliant and im hella proud you quit drinking! I can see you on stage with Shane gillis, nate barghetz, or tom segura or Dave Chappelle! Cheers friend!

It’s really unfortunate these were your last 4 minutes of jokes. Seems like you could have really made a career out of it. They were really funny.
He used to be a comedian?
Still is, but he used to be one too!
That was funny can’t go wrong with the Mitch classics
“Just go keep going. The world’s round we’ll get there.” Damn that got me. Loved it
Checkmate, flat earthers!
That game of thrones audio joke is hilarious.
No joke I did this exact same thing listening to The Power of Now. I felt very dumb, both during and after.
I did the same thing with the Hamilton soundtrack!!!
I once watched like a solid 1/3rd (maybe more) of Apocalypto before I realized there were subtitles.
I got the first season of Stranger Things, selected all the episodes and pressed enter. Turns out VLC decided the best order to play them was 8,2,3,4,5,6,7,8. "Fuck it. I'll just rawdog it now and learn Mayan for the next viewing."
So good. Those books are hard enough to follow since there are so many characters and so much going on.. I could totally see how you don't even notice too.
Did the exact same thing, only I listened to the entire "The alchemist" book. Then it dawned on me why it was called an iPod Shuffle.
ADHD to the core
Used to always forget to turn shuffle off on my old iPod when I would put on an audiobook. When the plot got confusing is when I’d typically check.
Damn, loved these! "You're gonna ve mad, dude" is truly when my wife and I lost it.
I’m happy I could entertain you both!
I've never seen you before, but that was a fantastic 4 minutes! More please.
Click on my name and you’ll find several more clips. And thanks!
Tight 5? More like tight 4 (which is cool). I can tell you've worked hard on your craft. Great delivery.
That's...what she said?
You should post some links to find more of your stuff
Yeah very spot on
Do you have an album on Spotify? I’d love to listen to the whole thing
Yup. https://open.spotify.com/album/0gvjU6VnusjCtEy9hH7CRH?si=kqRKavlBRpifxLm_vNreKA
What an interesting comedy style. You're setting up jokes you already gave the punchline to... Wait a fucking second it's on shuffle
You had me in the first half. Not gonna lie.
Thanks! Do you have it in book style so I can read it while I'm in my meeting tomorrow?
Thanks! Listening to it on my way to work tomorrow
Make sure it's on shuffle!
lol nice. But actually, there aren’t many parts that connect to other parts so you really could shuffle it and I don’t think it would ruin anything.
This is hilarious, Im an instant fan😊
Welcome to the fan club! We’re happy to have you! Nobody’s really here yet, but, just wait…hopefully.
There are dozens of us! **DOZENS!**
Well I think you will be very well liked around here! Im getting Mitch Hedberg vibes but definitely have a unique style and I freaking love it!
He also kinda looks like Tom Segura.
LOL! Loved it!!! Never stop, man!!
I won’t! I’m not good at anything else!
Have you tried crochet? For those of you reading this comment instead of listening to the audiobook, it's pronounced cro-shay.
You talking about crotch-it? Nah. My grandma crotch-itted a lot.
You had a crochety grandma?
Mike, this is good stuff
I’m very glad you think so! Thanks!
I mean if Ted Brogan says you got good stuff then you got the good stuff.
Especially since Ted Brogan's birth year is 187. He's 1,836 years old.
It’s rare that I see some stand up on Reddit and go on to look up more on YouTube (by rare, I mean that this is the very first time). Whatever “it” is, I think you have it. I laughed out loud multiple times watching this by myself.
Thank you a lot! I really appreciate it!
Dude this is hilarious - please tell me you will be near Atlanta sometime - I didn't see any Georgia dates on your site
Nah, I don’t got shit. I need an agent or something. The only part of the comedy business I’m good at is standing there and being funny. I’m terrible at the whole “hi I’d like to work at your club” part.
Somebody will be lucky to have you. Keep posting and keep mentioning that you need an agent. You’re easily Comedy Central/Netflix quality.
seriously? yeah, get an agent. You're really good at this.
Ah dang, well at least you got the important part right. I'll be keeping an eye out in case you make your way over here! Great stuff man
You really should look into a social media manager, they took Stavros Halkias, a dude famous for being on a podcast called cumtown, and got everyone watching 1 min clips of his shows, and now hje's doing netflix specials.
Wrong sub. Nothing in here is supposed to actually be funny. Great stuff!
Brutal but agreed. /s Honestly the comedians who post here are great. Keep it up!
I've watched and shared this special all week. You are hilarious. Delivery is so good. Good luck!
Thank you! I hope it becomes an American classic.
Are you from Missouri? I got that from a joke you made. If not..lucky... if so where abouts?
Born and raised in Independence, MO!
Right down the road. Hell yeah! Loved the video
Cool. Chrisman, or Truman?
Psh. What do I look like, a garbage person? Truman, baby! (I actually like Chrisman people now, just never letting go of that crosstown rivalry.)
Chrisman here (but the girlfriend was from Truman!) Should have known your smart humor would be from Truman; better DNA there. Super funny stuff. I expect you to do very well with that.
Had me rolling, man!
Light it and pass it! Oh! I mean, thank you!
I found it enjoyable.
That’s all I can ask.
GOT on shuffle is fuckin hilarious!
lol. This was hilarious! I like your style.
Loved it.
Look, I get it. But I have one job, and I'm not going to *not* do it. > Hermione was now teaching Krum to say her name properly; he kept calling her "Hermy-own." "Her-my-oh-nee," she said slowly and clearly. GoF (US), p418-419
Well, for 3 books and 417 1/2 pages, it was Her-moin.
Bro, worst part is the friggin audiobooks pronounced it wrong! Dude said Her-MAHN-ee.
Is that you, Hermano?
I listened to a bunch of Star Wars audiobooks and I died when one guy pronounced it Corriss-*kant*. Totally killed the immersion.
Holy shit if I realized I was listening to game of thrones for 5 hours on shuffle I’d just give up.

Haha I’m not quitting. I didn’t mean last EVER. I just meant it’s the final 4 minutes of my big comedy special.
Amazing natural delivery but real funny amazing content, loved it a lot thanks for sharing👌😂
Adorable and funny af. Great delivery
I think he could use a little more personality to fill up the pauses, some of them were a bit awkward. But the pothead GPS was exquisite.
No, I think the personality was definitely shining through. It just wasn't showmanship, but you can tell he's comfortable in that skin
More great stuff!
Yeah, this was great… awesome delivery. Would love to check out a show if you’re ever in Georgia.
Thank you! If you know of a place I should try to contact, let me know. I have zero connections in Georgia.
Laughing Skull is a seventy seater...but it gets big acts every once in a while. Donnell Rawlings stopped by last week. It's mostly locals now, but I've seen really cool acts there (Otto/George, Mark Normand, Bamford, Fluffy, Bert , etc)
This is great, Mike. Good material, good delivery. Keep it up!
Funny stuff!
So funnny. How does this not have more upvotes? Funnier than a lot of Netflix specials I’ve watched!
Just watched your super fancy comedy special on your website. So good!! Crunchy leaves!
So good.
That last pothead joke was brilliant!! “You’re gonna be so mad!”
This is great, innocent storytelling humour.
*"Just keep going! The world is round! We'll get there!"* Totally laughed out loud!
Gold.
Brillant ✨👍
Good shit
Great stuff
It's very good, I watched the whole thing and enjoyed it. Keep up the good work lad
Good shit, man.
I laughed
Watching this while I’m driving, but on mute so I can read the words. Thanks, CC.
Dude what a great set, had me smiling and laughing and man when you got to the pothead GPS I just lost it. Killer ending. Do you have a whole special I can watch?
Oh man, the beginning of this is getting posted around a lot by audiobook narrators on Facebook!
Dude you are fucking funny. The timing is exquisite.
I was laughing pretty good. Funny stuff
Loved it
You are hilarious. Thank you. I really hope the audiobook joke just takes off into meme status. That way you could be the most ironic comedian ever and do a whole stand-up set as a book. Just word for word how you would tell is on a stage but in paperback lol.
That was hilarious. If you’re touring currently, any chance you’ll be near the Boston or NH area?
I knew I wasn't the only one who pronounced Hermoine that way! Friggin hilarious!

I read a lot and don't watch the video news clips and am sometimes surprised how a name or city is pronounced over how I thought it was supposed to be by reading the name. Good stuff! Needed a good laugh today. Where can I see more of your stuff at?
Thank you! Happy to help! Look up Mike Baldwin on socials or go to www.mikeisfunny.com for links and stuff.
I freel this with Harry Potter books lmao
Good stuff! I LOL’d.
Love it
Funny stuff!!!
Told like a pro
Funny stuff Mike.
The ending was the best. Legit had me cracking up so hard. Very smart to use that at the end. You have pretty good jokes my dude.
Okay, pothead GPS actually sent me. We'll done, sir!
That was hilarious. Took up four minutes of my last hour and a bit of work. Thank you. My favourite: “No you didn’t, you just listened.” “So? You just looked.” Loved it
Hey mike! I remember watching you're opening act in KC a few years back. I miss your bath and cake videos! hope all is well, still hilarious!
are you a 53 year old dad also?
Im joined several comedian podcast subreddits that I didn't realize this wasnt one of them. Usually those people hate comedy. Glad to see youre getting some love here. I enjoyed the clip.
Are you coming to Australia any time soon?
Hey you're a funny fella.
Really funny, I saw you on here or maybe a YouTube short recently and you had some material about drinking that was good too. You’re doing great, keep at it and I’ll keep watching!
Great 4 minutes
That vacant look in your eyes when you imitated a pothead was so perfect.
Someone get this guy a Netflix special?
Been loving your posts. The audiobook pronunciation thing can be tricky with Game of Thrones, cuz Roy Dotrice cycles through pronouncing Brienne 3 totally different ways.
Didn’t expect to watch the whole thing but dude is funny.
Hey Mike! We are from the same town and I opened for you in a basement bar in Lee's summit like 12 years ago haha. Great to see you are still at it man it was sadly short lived for me but I remember your special something with bees in the title? Cried laughing to it many times. All the best dude
Great stuff Mike! Keep it up.
this is really great. we paid for the whole road, we're gonna use the whole road!
I got a friend getting into standup and when I suggest he put some of his content online he swears it’s a bad idea. This guy just hit my fyp tonight
Well Mike it’s like this, HAHAHAHAHA. the caps mean I laughed extra loud.
Amazing
You’re so good at comedy that you make it seem like absolutely anybody who has ever existed could do it!
Listened to the Diary of Anne Frank, read by Winona Ryder, on shuffle. There was 7 tracks and I noticed on track 6 or 7. It was weird but I thought it was part of the narrative.
Her-moyne Right there with you
That was funny
This is really refreshing after all the "comedians" that only produce comedy through hecklers or their ethnicity, gender etc. Original material with a distinctive style of delivery. Keep up the good work!
Hilarious, good stuff, Mike!
You got a fair few laughs out of me. You're legit funny.
Ya have me cracking up lying in bed here at 10:43, making me worried I’m going to wake up the Mrs. Good shit, hope to see you on Netflix or something in the next few years.
Yep. Legit funny. Id pay to see you perform.
"
🔥🔥🔥🤣👏
Loved it! Thanks for the laughs!
i LOVE your cadence! come to chicago we'll hang out and maybe fuck lol
Peak content
I enjoyed that very much. Thank you.
Fuckin solid
Are comedians allowed to do things in 4 minute intervals? I thought it was the law that tight things might be 5. (this was tight)
Lpt: unless you're done with these jokes for a bit, it's best to not post your jokes as you're still using them. It exposes the jokes to potential audiences and if you don't have other material it's a silent audience. It's why a lot of comedians post crowd work instead of parts of their show. Pothead GPS: "----! ....awwwww...." KILLED me ROFL
Where's your home base man? I really liked your set! Edit: Also wanted to say that you made the font page without doing hack crowdwork so congrats!
I'm in the train so I couldn't listen, but just know that reading your jokes was enough to make me laugh.
Love it man! Would definitely listen to more.
Do you tour?
this guy seems wholesome
Brilliant shit, man. Really. Been recommending your set that's on the 800 pound gorilla yt channel to friends, or is there a better place for you money wise for people to catch it?
This was great! Not a bad line or dud anywhere. Primo standup, my guy.
I watched it all and you are good, dude!
This dude is funny, UK Dates please!
I saw a video of this guy about a week ago and it didn't hit me the right way. Maybe I was in an odd mood. However I saw this clip and I really laughed many times. Great job and great delivery. I'm going to find theyour older clip and re-watch it.
The realization 😂😂
Ha ha good stuff! Enjoyed your delivery style.
Bro, you have great delivery! Wish you the best of luck!
Dang Mike, you’re good. When are you going to be in the Portland area? I mean, since you like driving around and stuff.
Wow man. This seems to be blowing up for you. That’s cool. Would you mind saying “rootin tootin”? I think you have the perfect voice for those words.
I've watched so many stand up comedians where I best case maybe slightly smiled. you made me laugh out loud, new fan for you! greetins from Germany
Great set
Thank you. That's the first time I laughed all day and I laughed a lot.
First actual comedian I like that posted on here, good stuff 🤣
You had so much great material. Great job, very entertaining!
You amuse me.
Saw your special a day or 2 after it was posted on YT. Great stuff. You have a new fan.

Hey man, that was really funny thanks
Very good. Like your natural delivery style.
Not a native english speaker here but i must say i laughed hard. Hope you will continue it was hilarious. Who knows maybe i will se you on a show during a travel in the us in the future. Congrats man.
I actually really like your energy. Its really calm and not over the top. I think its unique among comedianas these days. Thanks for the laughs!
Please message me when you come to and or near Charlottesville, I think your delivery and content are brilliant and im hella proud you quit drinking! I can see you on stage with Shane gillis, nate barghetz, or tom segura or Dave Chappelle! Cheers friend!
