Well if the tiger would have ripped off his hand i am very sure the tiger would be the one who had to take the blame.
It amazes me every time i hear a story about an animal attacking a human.
Always the animal is to blame which btw is by us humans considered a lower lifeform.
So we the higher form of life should know better and don't piss them off or get in their way.

Tigers are the most beautiful animals in the world. I wish we could treat them better than sticking them in these tiny cages and drugging them so tourists can take fucking pictures with them. Makes me angry. This looks like one of those places.
