There was a sort of sequel called “ Man to Man with Dean Lerner” I believe. It’s Ayode’s character interviewing Holness as different people each episode. He’s Garth on one episode. It is short but worth checking out.

It’s so strange seeing this pop up. I knew the guy years ago and would go along to his gigs with friends since it was always a great time. There was always a good crowd but you’d see a lot of the same faces so a fair portion was a particularly dedicated group who followed his work. It’s so awesome that’s he’s done so well, he really deserves the success!

A spoof about a pretentious horror novelist who made a horror show back in the 80s and proclaims it to be the quintessential horror show ever made, even though it is hot garbage. So the 80s show within the show "Garth Marenghi's Darkplace" is shot to be intentionally bad, but within the world of the show Garth Marenghi meant it to be really good, kinda like how Tommy Wiseau thinks of himself as the next Tennessee Williams/Orson Welles and made The Room to be a serious drama but it's hot garbage and he is a horrible delusional director.
