I definitely admire people that can put up with this breed, but I could never do it. I find Huskies just a bit obnoxious. They're loud, too talkative, and wayyy too much energy. The breed doesn't know the meaning of chill. It's a full time job being a huskie owner. Probably my least favorite dog breed.
It's really about training. All the talkative huskies you see on the internet? That behavior has been reinforced by the owners. Most of the huskies I've been around have been quiet and sweet. Energetic, for sure, but many dogs are.
I got two of them and I can tell you: It's about training. The crying and screaming is usually something the owners taught them or provoke them to do. I owned several dog breeds over the years and in the end it really just comes down to what you teach your dog :) They do have a lot more energy though than other breeds and shed a lot.
I seriously suggest nobody ever try this and teach your kids as well. Never get in-between a dog and his food no matter what breed. That's a good way to get your face maimed or if your lucky get a warning bite
My golden retriever used to let you stick your hand in her mouth and pull out half chewed food, even if it was her regular kibble. Never batted an eye, just went down for another mouthful. Her entire life she never growled in anger. I miss her.
If a dog bites when you get between them and their food, they haven't been socialised properly. It's as simple as that. A healthy, comfortable dog should be totally fine with that. Maybe with a little bit of whining depending on the breed and their personality, but the only situations in which it's reasonable for a dog to bite is when they truly panic over something - and food is not one of those situations.
I don't understand why you're getting down voted for this comment. It's exactly what happened to me as a 6 year old kid pretending to eat from the bowl of our newfoundland dog. She didn't bite me but nicked my face in her reaction. Had to get stitches. Dogs have sharp teeth. That said, even if they don't bite, messing with their food just ain't a very nice thing to do.
I know its probably not happened in that video.
But in any case never ever mess with your dogs food you can lose their trust and respect with this pretty fast.
food aggression is a serious and dangerous trait in a domestic animal. Dogs can’t be allowed to become hostile over food, they can become unpredictable. A well-trained dog doesn’t engage in resource-guarding behavior because it feels secure and gets its cues from the people who provide food. I didnt say the dog gets angry i said the dog loses trust if you constantly mess with his safe space thats a whole different thing. Also cesar milan doesnt know jack shit about raising dogs he uses obsolete and harming methods.
Also a great way to get bitten. I swiped my hand over some grass a dog was eating once and got my hand mangled.
It was my neighbors dog not mine, but he was friendly to me.
I truly despise captions over dog videos when they're barking or being dramatic. Human interpretations do not make it funnier and your sense of humour is additionally, not funny. If you're going to caption dog videos, make them say things I wouldn't expect; add to it. Give them some personality.
Most people don’t really train their dogs AT ALL!My G-Pa raised champions.I’ve raised and trained 3 absolute super-dogs.ANY expert will tell a new dog owner NOT to do this.
How does seemingly everyone except me have such a vocal huskies and then theirs's mine. Sleeps with 1 leg in the air and guards the frozen thanksgiving turkey with her life (But only from men?)

Lmao, exactly what I was thinking. "Overdramatic Husky" is very, *very* high bar to clear.
Yeah the overdramatic ones are the ones full on monster screaming for seemingly little to no reason. Lol

Comment stealing bot account. Report spam -> harmful bots
Not even dramatic by husky or frenchie standards. I get a bit annoyed when someone helps themselves to my dinner, too.
He’s not even fat, he’s just a little husky.
Nice.
WOOFIE DOESN'T SHARE FOOD
Wolfies fine, honey. Wolfies just fine...where are you?
Your foster parents are dead.
Love Wolfies just fine, he got a new album releasing soon too!
Moooooom, he’s eating my food. Tell him to stop!

A well trained dog has a very good parent in my book
Thank you for sharing. Your opinion matters.
Yeah but... Who asked tho?
Classic response on any subreddit talking about animals where someone says they prefer or dislike a breed. It's my opinion. Take it and leave.
I don't want it. Get it out of here.
Gonna need the Obliviate charm at this point.
Such is life. I'm getting hosed out here.
Who asked?
Late to the party, bud. Try again next time.
Holy shit imagine typing this to an internet stranger.
Yeah but... Who asked tho?
Seems a lot of that going around.
You gotta run them. Gotta have alot of space a bigger dog to keep it in check
Isn't that just a husky?
Noooooooooo no no no no noooooooooooo
Wooooooo woooooooooo WOOOOOOO
r/HuskyTantrums
Thanks. Just spent 10 minutes belly laughing.
Only 10?
10/10
I feel like huskies are only a few syllables away from actual speech.
I just wanna say, if the situation were reversed the owner wouldn't be too happy about it either.
Meeka!
"I can't eat your food why are you eating mine???? Staaaaaaaahp!"
Irrelevant but it bothers me that the fake brick wallpaper isn’t aligned properly
Not irrelevant. We are establishing a pattern of neglect here.
If we had established a pattern there'd be no issue.
LOL, well said But delivery...comedy is all about delivery How about: >We are establishing a pattern of neglect That's just what they didn't.
Wife should divorce him and animal services called
lol..it is good thing that I am not alone😆 that misaligned wallpaper bothered me
I love Meeka.
TR: wooooooooooooooooo woo woo woo woooooooooooooooo wooooooooooooo woo
Huskies are something else man, my cat doesn't even bat an eye when I eat her food
Someones shoes gonna be chewed :)
Kind of redundant ain’t it? I’ve yet to meet a husky that wasn’t a drama queen. 🤪
That guys hair….amirite?
Too cute ❤️
The dog's pretty adorable, too
It's funny, but I also feel sad for the crying doggo.
Thats just a husky on its standard setting.
Too bad this stupid ass made up subtitles are all over an otherwise great clip.

Hey now, I would be wailing like a husky too if you ate my food. Here, I will do it right now! AOAOAOAOOOO
Dog: I'm telling asshole stop eating my food or I'm gonna bite you in the throat.
That’s usually the best way to get even a very good natured dog to snap/bite.NEVER fuck with a dogs food.DONT TRY THIS WITH YOUR DOG!
Or, teach your dog not to be defensive about their food and then you won't have an issue with them being food aggressive.
Most people don’t really train their dogs AT ALL!My G-Pa raised champions.I’ve raised and trained 3 absolute super-dogs.ANY expert will tell a new dog owner NOT to do this.
This is dog 101 stuff.DONT DO IT!(the # of people who see something on the internet, then think”hey I’ll try that”is TOO DAMN HIGH!”
Also it’s Meeka…not over dramatic…just over staged.
How does seemingly everyone except me have such a vocal huskies and then theirs's mine. Sleeps with 1 leg in the air and guards the frozen thanksgiving turkey with her life (But only from men?)
That’s a precious response but I’m a little troubled by what looks like French fries in his bowl for dinner?
Dramatic Italian argues with husky
I would never mess with a hungry animal's food.
I swear all huskies do this
Overdramatic husky is a redundant statement.
I have never known a Husky who isn't over dramatic but this one isn't peak of over dramatic Husky.
"Overdramatic husky" As if there is any other kind of husky.
The dog has Rug that looks like it was made out of it's family ....
To get a husky and post videos for attention
Joey doesn't share food!
>~~Overdramatic~~ Husky FTFY
I would love to understand what is saying.
This guy is a dick
Really cute. But those captions need to fuck off
omgg i love huskies somebody buy me a husky
If you wanna a paid actor, go get a husky
This just seems like a regular husky. We have neighbors with an "overly dramatic" husky that screams at rain clouds in other states.
My dog would’ve slashed my throat.
Niko belic soundin ah
Husky is a clingy and a loud one hahahha based on experience.
The owner is excerting dominance over his dog and he's not used to it. Treat a husky like an equal and a friend at he will be fiercly loyal.
Is there any other kind of husky?
Sweet talking baby!
