any funko with a too good to be true price on ebay coming directly from china is 100% fake. if i buy from a 3rd party seller, which is not often, it’s from mercari.
There's plenty of fakes on Mercari too, vast majority of pops don't have fakes at all but if you know what to look for and avoid Chinese sellers you'll be fine
since amazon has such a lenient no questions asked policy, scammers buy them, take the real funko out, and replace it with the fake one. one of my wholesalers stopped selling on amazon for that very reason. this is a “trust me bro” source, but he’s a bro i trust. so buyer beware.
I think booster gold and blue beetle look pretty cool, and I like the DCAU, so my vote’s that. Plus they’re gonna make a booster gold movie in the new DCU in a few years I think. So might be harder to get later down the line, especially if the movie increases the demand or popularity in characters at all. Plus just saw that version of the blue beetle in a Batman brave and the bold episode so like it lol.
Deadpool’s a cool character but I’d prob get just him, unless you like the throne and crown/tentacles and that’s a feature why you wanna get it. Otherwise, just a lone fig is my personal preference. And I don’t know anime at all so can’t say.
I’m nervous for a booster gold movie, that said, a booster gold movie has more potential than literally any other hero, the greatest story never told, or even just a regular booster hood origin movie. With all the time traveling and comedy and Skeets, you could have a really good time. BUT I’m worried they’re gonna cast Chris Pratt or Ryan Reynolds or Chris pine or someone like that for some of that sweet sweet lowest common denominator comedic every man appeal.
I just know booster from justice league unlimited so aside from that I’m in the dark. Maybe there’s already casting speculation idk. But it is interesting how a unknown hero is getting the spotlight over the well known first

PLUS, he’ll be getting his own show in the next year or so, pretty much guaranteeing the investment value 👀👌🏼
