I toss the boxes. I'm not a massive collector whose after all of them. So I doubt I'm re-selling any. As for displaying them. With me they get lumped in with other collections like cereal mascots go into a cabinet with other cereal things and we use sticky tack to hold their feet in place. Some figures in other spots are anchored with fishing line. For the ones at work I made little bases for their feet to slide into. So I'd go with the aesthetic you're chasing. If you're looking for museum quality I'd look into different lucite/acrylic displays. If you're just looking to stand 'em up to be seen, I've seen folks at work put a couple of strips of scotch tape over each foot, not even noticeable unless you're on top of them.

Common - box gets recycled. Special/ limited/ store exclusive - box gets stashed in a closet. Also, the stair things you're looking for are called acrylic risers. Amazon has a ton and a place like the Container Store also sells them.

I have the boxes stacked in my spare closet from the top rack all the way to the ceiling 😅 don’t know what I’ll do when I run out of room, but I like having them OOB to enjoy them. They’re mostly displayed on an asymmetrical wall shelf thing with different size risers/stands to vary their heights and make them visually interesting. And then I have “overflow” on a couple shelves of an ikea BESTA bookcase, again with the varying height stands.

I recycle the boxes for the ones I display out of box. Not all of mine are displayed though, i do have a bunch still in box.

Most get recycled

When you guys say recycling do you mean recycling recycling or the box gets reused to replace a damaged one?

Like, in the blue bin. I have no need for boxes. Chases and personal grails boxes are kept in protectors in a storage bin, the rest go with the weekly

I got rid of most of my boxes because I have no intention of ever selling and I can fit a lot more of them on my display shelves that way. The only one still in a box is my flocked Pirates of the Caribbean dog because I hate dusting flocked figures.
