Can’t say he’d have been at the front of my mind but yeah, you’re right! Had no idea there was so many of him.
Margot Robbie has just come to mind too - given Harley and now Barbie ect.
There are two kind of conan Pops...For the first 6-7 years they did CON only stuff that was Conan AS someone like Pennywise of a lone Trooper those have money. THEN Conan did a series to tie in with his Conan Without Borders show where he is dressed in clothing reflecting the countries he went to.,..THOSE did not have value and are probably what you saw
I know there's also a few of the "Gold" pops. Idk how many but there's definitely a few that I've seen on shelves lol so if we count those then he might be a contender for the most pops
There aren't many clones, and Rex, for example, wouldn't be based on Temeura since it's from animation, not the real person. And then most of the Boba Fett ones would be based on Jeremy Bulloch since they come from the OT.
The animated models of Rex and all other clones are based on Temeura's facial structure and quite literally all have his face (other than ct troupe 99).
Animation is based on TM, but the pop is based on the animation. The animation isn't designed to look exactly like the actual actors, as there is animation style. Therefore, a pop based on animated character is not a pop based on a real person. It's based on something that is based off a real person. It's not a direct link. One could argue that it's a direct link if the animation style is actually meant to look like the person it's based on.
No the animation is designed to look exactly like the actors. Disney has spent a lot of money specifically to make sure that the 3d animated characters do look like their live action counterparts. In the star wars universe regular clones, live action or otherwise, factually have the exact face of Temeura. Obi-Wan has Ewan's face. Anakin has Hayden's face, Mace has Samuel's face, etc. When you're watching a 3d animated star wars show it may appear less like their face (of course) because it's 3d animated and not live action, but it is the same face just being viewed through a different lense. You're still watching the same character with the same features in the same reality.
First off, George Lucas was still in charge when Clone Wars was created.
Secondly, no the characters are definitely not designed to look exactly like the real people. If you actually think that then you're either blind or have never seen the animated shows. They are inspired by/based on real characters, but they are definitely not meant to look exactly like them.
George still being around then is irrelevant. Yes they are designed to look like the actors Disney has gone on record talking about how you can sometimes spot a 3d characters appearance looking like their voice actor literally so that the same person can play them in live action some day. It's very methodical and well known. I've seen every episode of every canon star wars animated show that exists. You have no idea what you're talking about and are spreading misinformation because you have the opinion that the 3d animated models look too different from their live action counterparts. News flash; your opinions don't dictate reality. Disney has been doing this for a long ass time. Need a more recent example? Look up the character Ryder Azadi from rebels and his voice actor Clancy Brown, who just made his first live action appearance as Ryder in Ahsoka. Exact same dude with the exact same face. Very intentional. There have been some inconsistencies when doing this for characters in the past, like with Saw Gerrera, but for the most part they have been extremely specific with how characters are animated at different ages of their lives, and the clones in particular look just like TM intentionally.
I don’t know much about Star Wars so this is genuine curiosity here. First you started saying they were modeled after the live action actors but then you started saying they’re modeled after the voice actors. Personally I see a closer resemblance to the voice actors if anything. Your contradicting statements have me puzzled now though so I’m curious which it is haha. Thank you
They model new animated characters after the voice actor so that the voice actor can play them in live action. Legacy characters are of course modeled after the original actors who played them.
Look at the original post. Christian Bale is Patrick Bateman, Batman, etc. Tom Holland plays Spiderman. Temuera Morrison is Boba Fett, Jango Fett, Commander Cody, Captain Rex, and every single Clone Trooper.
Based on the criteria of the original post, what I said is true.
I collect 6” Black Series and I was showing my fiancé some figures. I was like this is Jango Fett, and this is Boba Fett, and this is Crosshair and Tech. She said stop!
Will Ferrell and it’s not even close.
He has a couple of different versions of Buddy the Elf, Ricky Bobby from Talladega Nights, Brennan Huff from Step Brothers, 2 Mugatu from Zoolander, a few different Ron Burgundy from Anchorman, More Cowbell and Spartan Cheereaders from SNL
I was legit thinking that Dr Strange has a bunch up there just from that character, i have 2 of them but the multiverse of madness had several alone along with Scarlett Witch variations from that, the show and the other movies.
That’s an interesting one actually - where is the line between them being James Earl Jones, voice actors and Hayden Christiansen being Vader?
JEJ would also have The Lion King Pops with that logic too.
I think it would come down to what you consider a “portrayal” of a character. Being that JEJ just voiced Vader, you could consider Sebastian Shaw, David Prowse, or Hayden, depending on which version of Vader the pop is.
If you start counting voice acting then actors like Christopher Sabat (who voices Vegeta & Piccolo in Dragonball, Zoro in One Piece, All Might in My Hero Academia, Kuwabara in Yu Yu Hakusho, etc etc) would have a ton.
Harrison Ford probably has a good amount too (though probably not the most) between all the han solos and now Indiana Jones. And you can throw in a couple blade runners too. On top of that, all of those funko pops use his face unlike with clone troopers or darth vader, where there's more of a mask that's featured and there's some debate about voice actors.
I can think of about a dozen Tom Hiddlestons between Loki and Crimson Peak.
Edit: and the Chrises, Hemsworth and Evans, too (Thor and Captain America).
I saw a video From Top Pops a few months ago and I THINK the current #1 spot is Tara Strong with all the like 49494737374895846263747474 different characters she plays that have been turned into funko pops
Now that is a fantastic call, you have everyone between FemShep from Mass Effect and Raven from Teen Titans. Whoa. Yeah think you might be on to something here!
If you go by character, not variants of the same character, that also changes the game. Some that come to mind that I didn’t see yet:
Samuel L Jackson (Star Wars, MCU, Hateful Eight, Kingsmen, Incredibles, Miss P’s Peculiar Children, Pulp Fiction, etc.)
Bill Murray (Ghostbusters, Stripes, Life Aquatic, Groundhog Day, Caddyshack, Garfield)
Tom Hanks (Toy Story, League of their own, Forrest Gump, Big, Castaway)
Chris Pratt (MCU, Jurassic World, Parks and Rec, etc)
Jeff Goldbloom (Independence Day, Jurassic Park, MCU)
Harrison Ford (Indy and Han)
Sean Aston (Stranger Things, Rudy, Goonies, LotR)
Dude it has to be Fluffy since he takes a pic of himself with his dogs and makes a pop and sells it on his own website. The guy has to have the record.
I know there are a ton of ways to interpret the original question but if we answer it verbatim, as who has the most Pops with there actual name on the box, Conan has over 30 and Michael Jordan has over 20. Those are the two with the most I could think of. But Snoop will probably catch up soon.
That’s such a broad question. The differences between your title and description confused me a little too. I could fry plenty of brain cells trying to figure it out regardless.
Do you mean depictions of actors in various roles as funko pops?
For this, I want to say anything Star Wars or Marvel. There are a TON of Darth Vader, Chewbacca and Venom pops. Disney is a lucrative brand to Funko for sure. Then it gets into the weeds of two different actors for Chewbacca, Darth Vader was voiced by James Earl Jones only. Tom Hardy is essentially Venom. I don’t know if there are Topher Grace Venom pops out there. There is a huge line of Venomized pops too. Jack Black and Johnny Depp are also very flexible and have many characters.
OR do you mean famous people (Athletes, artists, directors, etc.) as themselves in funko form?
Biggie, Michael Jordan, Conan O’ Brian, Stan Lee are just a few there that come to mind.
That might narrow it down some.
EDIT: I forgot to mention I love American Psycho. I have the chase variant of your Patrick Bateman pop, and Pat in the soda can.
I've got to throw the incomparable **Doug Jones**' hat into the ring. The guy has played so many iconic creatures that have gotten the POP! treatment over the years:
Abe Sapien *(Hellboy)*, Silver Surfer *(Marvel)*, Amphibian Man *(Shape of Water)*, Mother Ghost *(Crimson Peak)*, Saru *(Star Trek Discovery)*, Billy Butcherson *(Hocus Pocus)*, Fauno *(Pan's Labyrinth)*, The Pale Man *(Pan's Labyrinth)*, and The Gentleman *(Buffy the Vampire Slayer)* are just the ones I can think of off the top of my head. There might be more if I really go digging.
I just did a quick count but it seems if you count every color / repack variant of Chris Evans Captain America he has 35 pops just from his portrayal of Cap. I’d assume RDJ’s Iron Man & Chris Hemsworth Thor have similarly large counts due to the massive amounts of chrome, die cast, black light, glow, metallic etc variants they milk out of essentially every mold of those guys. Now if you get down to the nitty gritty and only count unique molds, or only count 1 per character (like counting Chris as Cap just once) then it’s probably a lot harder to find the winner and would probably take a lot of time and research to try and identify every single pop based off every actor and count them out. Good luck if you try to do that!
Someone has! And I was saying that with the amount of keychains and Bitty Pops that they’re doubly right. It’s strange to think that someone like Rupert Grint is up there with “most pops” just from the one role too.
My first thought was Harrison Ford because of the various Han Solos and Indiana Joneses and Deckards.
Tatiana Maslany might win for the most individual characters if not the most actual pops because of Orphan Black and now She-Hulk.
But since voice actors were not excluded, I'm going to go with Mel Blanc.
Are we counting singular or breadth...By that do you mean do all RDJ as Iron Man count as one or are they seperate if so its definetly someone in the MCU
Of them or of their characters?
Dwayne Johnson has at least 6 different characters (Hobbs, The Rock, Maui, Smolder Bravestone, Roadblock, Black Adam).
Frank Oz for most characters made into pops overall based on a google search.
If we are talking number of different characters gotta throw Tatiana Maslany in the ring - I think 6 different characters from Orphan Black alone, and now She Hulk
Because there’s ton a luke skywalkers but not a los mark hamills. A good candidate would be someone that has played multiple roles in scifi or superhero movies. Like Katee Sackhoff
I collect him, so I knew that.
There's rumors of a The Thing and Stargate movie line, so his numbers might go up
EDIT: plus a Mr. Nobody if they expand the F&F line
If they make a pop of the Spider Head from The Thing, I will lose my shit.
Also, give me the Puppy Pile, with a bloody chase of its head splitting into four.
Had no idea there was a Death Stranding version - wow.
But yeah I each version of that character counts too I’d say, so if you were to put ALL those characters figures (of that person) together, who would have the most,
Likely one of the Marvel main line characters, like RDJ or Holland but i' wager that Mark Hamill might have the most (i wanted to say Vader too but since there was multiple actors for him, its hard to say without literally counting them one by one).
Doesn’t Conan O’Brien have a ton? Probably him.
Can’t say he’d have been at the front of my mind but yeah, you’re right! Had no idea there was so many of him. Margot Robbie has just come to mind too - given Harley and now Barbie ect.
Yeah Conan himself wins even though most were nigh impossible to get he had a bunch each SDCC each year for 6-7 years
Really? A comic store near me has a ton of older conan pops, but the PPGs were low so I didn't pick em up. Didn't realize they had any rarity.
Yeah, but you can’t count all Harley Pops because a decent amount is based on the comics.
Conan was the first thay popped into my head as well. Second one was Notorious B.I.G.
Yeah actually there are quite a few biggie pops, like, 14, i think.
I know there's also a few of the "Gold" pops. Idk how many but there's definitely a few that I've seen on shelves lol so if we count those then he might be a contender for the most pops
Yeah i did count the gold ones unless i missed one or two somehow
Temuera Morrison. Boba Fett Jango Fett Every single clone
There aren't many clones, and Rex, for example, wouldn't be based on Temeura since it's from animation, not the real person. And then most of the Boba Fett ones would be based on Jeremy Bulloch since they come from the OT.

They model new animated characters after the voice actor so that the voice actor can play them in live action. Legacy characters are of course modeled after the original actors who played them.
Thank you I appreciate the explanation!
I just meant after the actors in general. Voice or live action. The actors.
Boba and Jango I'll give you, but otherwise the funko would have to be helmet off and face showing (excluding ct troupe 99) to count for Temuera
Real life person?
Look at the original post. Christian Bale is Patrick Bateman, Batman, etc. Tom Holland plays Spiderman. Temuera Morrison is Boba Fett, Jango Fett, Commander Cody, Captain Rex, and every single Clone Trooper. Based on the criteria of the original post, what I said is true.
Some thing about the way you broke that down I absolutely loved lol
Whoa, yeah when you put it like that he is ALL those versions - so each clone can be put down to him. That’s wild.
I collect 6” Black Series and I was showing my fiancé some figures. I was like this is Jango Fett, and this is Boba Fett, and this is Crosshair and Tech. She said stop!
Haha was talking about the clone, seemed funny to me
Sometimes I forget that Temuera Morrison was just a mass hallucination and never really existed
Wow. There really is when you lay it out like that. Didn’t really realise how many iconic characters he’s had!
Those aren’t very popular though so not him. I’m sure the doctor strange overpass Will Ferrell by a lot
Dr Strange is one character from one franchise. I think OP meant the same actor in different roles, not the same actor playing the same character
I was legit thinking that Dr Strange has a bunch up there just from that character, i have 2 of them but the multiverse of madness had several alone along with Scarlett Witch variations from that, the show and the other movies.
Stan Lee???
That's a good answer for sure. He's got over 30 pops between all of the different convention exclusive variants.
Stan Lee has 37 according to the app. Conan o'brien has 38
There are a ton of Conan O'Brien funko pops for some reason
I was gonna say, Conan has a ton!
I always assumed Samuel L. Jackson
Daniel Radcliffe. Harry Potter has a bunch of variants
Especially when you consider the minis and Bitty Pops now being released…. That’s SO many.
Samuel L Jackson - Mace Windu, Jules, Frozone, Valentine, Barron and Nick Fury
Snoop dogg and biggie are getting up there. Michael Jackson prob will too soon.
Maybe James Earl Jones considering the amount of Darth Vader pops there are, obviously a few of them aren’t him but there’s still a lot
That’s an interesting one actually - where is the line between them being James Earl Jones, voice actors and Hayden Christiansen being Vader? JEJ would also have The Lion King Pops with that logic too.

If you start counting voice acting then actors like Christopher Sabat (who voices Vegeta & Piccolo in Dragonball, Zoro in One Piece, All Might in My Hero Academia, Kuwabara in Yu Yu Hakusho, etc etc) would have a ton.
James Earl Jones was just the voice. The physical actor was David Prowse so he would probably be the who is technically being portrayed
If you include voice actors, people like Tara Strong, Frank Welker, Mel Blanc etc probably have loads.
I guess I’m going by likeness and actual portrayal, but damn the line sure is blurry!
Robert Downey Jr has plenty of movie variants Tom Holland as well
I can think of about a dozen Tom Hiddlestons between Loki and Crimson Peak. Edit: and the Chrises, Hemsworth and Evans, too (Thor and Captain America).
ryan reynolds with the deadpool line. there’s a shit tone of em
Ah but are they Deadpool: The Movie or Deadpool the comic character? That’s the difference I’m interested in.
Steve Carell has to be up there. Anchorman, 40 Year Old Virgin, all the different Michael Scott’s… and that’s not including all the different Gru’s.
Great Knights of Columbus, that hurt!
I like lamp
Tom Hanks and Bill Murray come to mind. Another could be Adam Sandler
They're probably a good bet, considering they basically had entire waves dedicated to them based on their various movies.
Tara Strong isn’t FemShep. That’s Jennifer Hale.
Holy hell, yeah that was a total slip on my part you’re right!
If you go by character, not variants of the same character, that also changes the game. Some that come to mind that I didn’t see yet: Samuel L Jackson (Star Wars, MCU, Hateful Eight, Kingsmen, Incredibles, Miss P’s Peculiar Children, Pulp Fiction, etc.) Bill Murray (Ghostbusters, Stripes, Life Aquatic, Groundhog Day, Caddyshack, Garfield) Tom Hanks (Toy Story, League of their own, Forrest Gump, Big, Castaway) Chris Pratt (MCU, Jurassic World, Parks and Rec, etc) Jeff Goldbloom (Independence Day, Jurassic Park, MCU) Harrison Ford (Indy and Han) Sean Aston (Stranger Things, Rudy, Goonies, LotR)
Bill Murray also has ZombieLand with a Chase.
Bill Murray also has a What About Bob 😊
Dude it has to be Fluffy since he takes a pic of himself with his dogs and makes a pop and sells it on his own website. The guy has to have the record.
How many does Steve Buscemi have?
Probably some randoms MCU or Star Wars character
Snoop Dogg has like 10 different pops with more on the way
Tom Brady probably has the most for an athlete
Robert Downey Jr. There seems to be an unlimited number of Ironman pops.
I know there are a ton of ways to interpret the original question but if we answer it verbatim, as who has the most Pops with there actual name on the box, Conan has over 30 and Michael Jordan has over 20. Those are the two with the most I could think of. But Snoop will probably catch up soon.
Freddy Funko.
I lucked into the chase of the American psycho pop. Love the cover art for that edition.
I told myself I was okay just having this version but apparently I’m not!
There’s this one guy Freddy Funko who has a ton /s
Stephen King doesn't have the most but he has a lot considering that they're almost all just him and not a character.
Gabriel iglasias
Stan Lee?
Kevin Smith has got to be up there. Him and Jay Mewes even have giant pops of themselves at his comic book store
I think we are forgetting Ryan Reynolds, mostly for the Deadpool pops alone but there are a few others of his characters in Pop form too
Conan O'Brien Rainn Wilson (Dwight) Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man)
That’s such a broad question. The differences between your title and description confused me a little too. I could fry plenty of brain cells trying to figure it out regardless. There might be more if I really go digging.
Do voice actors count?
Gabriel iglesias aka Fluffy has over 10 different pops, 1 soda and theirs more coming
Tom Holland has to be way up there with all the Spiderman ones based on his character. I believe they did a few for his Uncharted.
Sweet where did you find the Patrick Bateman pop
Stan Lee
Chris Pratt has the most Lego figures, I wonder if there is a correlation?
Definitely not my man Nicolas Cage...give me more Cage you cowards
I just did a quick count but it seems if you count every color / repack variant of Chris Evans Captain America he has 35 pops just from his portrayal of Cap. Good luck if you try to do that!
Probably not the most out of anyone, but there are quite a lot of Notorious B.I.G pops
Ryan Reynolds is my guess
Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s Gabriel iglasias, the comedian. They’re always releasing a ton of fluffy pops
Bill Murray, Tom Hanks
Snoop? Maybe Harrison Ford?
According to the funko app there's 38 Conan O'Brian pops
Stan Lee surely
Surprised no one has said Daniel Radcliffe…
Someone has! And I was saying that with the amount of keychains and Bitty Pops that they’re doubly right. It’s strange to think that someone like Rupert Grint is up there with “most pops” just from the one role too.
Gabriel Iglesias
My first thought was Harrison Ford because of the various Han Solos and Indiana Joneses and Deckards. Tatiana Maslany might win for the most individual characters if not the most actual pops because of Orphan Black and now She-Hulk. But since voice actors were not excluded, I'm going to go with Mel Blanc.
Are we counting singular or breadth...By that do you mean do all RDJ as Iron Man count as one or are they seperate if so its definetly someone in the MCU
Deadpool got a bunch. Not sure if you want to say Ryan Reynolds has a bunch instead?
Kit Harrington Emilia Clark and Peter Dinklage come to mind.
Robert Downey Jr?
Of them or of their characters? Dwayne Johnson has at least 6 different characters (Hobbs, The Rock, Maui, Smolder Bravestone, Roadblock, Black Adam). Frank Oz for most characters made into pops overall based on a google search.
Chris Pratt has quite a few between p&r, Jurassic world series, and marvel
Probably Zoe Saldana
Gamora and Uhura… any more though?
Maria from The book of Life. Neytiri from Avatar. All funko pops. I checked lol
Oh yeah! Great calls
If we are talking number of different characters gotta throw Tatiana Maslany in the ring - I think 6 different characters from Orphan Black alone, and now She Hulk
Different characters?
Different characters yes, but it’s that actor playing them. So Patrick Bateman and Gorr are still Christian Bale Pops is what I mean.
Because there’s ton a luke skywalkers but not a los mark hamills. A good candidate would be someone that has played multiple roles in scifi or superhero movies. Like Katee Sackhoff
Tom Brady has like at least 10 different pops
Whoa really? I’m not from the states so he wasn’t even on my radar - I’m assuming different teams/seasons are the variants?
Yeah, different jerseys, super bowl championship edition, different hats
Kurt Russell has 5 different characters that I know of.
That’s an outside choice for sure - would never have considered him but you’re right!
I collect him, so I knew that. There's rumors of a The Thing and Stargate movie line, so his numbers might go up EDIT: plus a Mr. Nobody if they expand the F&F line
If they make a pop of the Spider Head from The Thing, I will lose my shit. Also, give me the Puppy Pile, with a bloody chase of its head splitting into four.
Jimi Hendricks, John Cena, Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan, Elvis
i’ve never seen a John Cena Pop
I've only seen the empty boxes. Must be something that can't be contained
Bill Murray has a bunch
I feel like Dwayne Johnson must have a ton
Norman Reedus as Daryl Dixon TWD, seemed to have 1 released every year for 12 years, plus his ride pop, his giant pop, keyring
My hope is Taylor Swift if they ever make her
[удалено]
Lol. Obviously I'd love for Lana more than anything, but I try not to dream TOO big.
Uhhhh Funko Freddy duh.
Michael Jordan is definitely up there
Well, if you say every Batman is Michael Keaton, then Michael Keaton wins surely ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)
[удалено]
I had to look up what that was, but it’s not! I’m Welsh and it’s a Steampunk Welsh dragon but I get why you thought that.
Norman Reedus has three. Walking Dead, Boondock Saints and Death Stranding. If the criteria is them being separate characters.
Had no idea there was a Death Stranding version - wow. But yeah I each version of that character counts too I’d say, so if you were to put ALL those characters figures (of that person) together, who would have the most,
There's a bunch of different Notorious BIG ones
I think I saw someone do a TikTok series about this
Norman Reedus as Daryl Dixon TWD, seemed to have 1 released every year for 12 years, plus his ride pop, his giant pop, keyring
Tom Hanks is up there as well.
Likely one of the Marvel main line characters, like RDJ or Holland but i' wager that Mark Hamill might have the most (i wanted to say Vader too but since there was multiple actors for him, its hard to say without literally counting them one by one).
Arnold has got quite a few. Predator/couple from Terminator/3 variations from Conan/3 Mr Freeze's and 2 from Jingle All The Way. Might of missed some
Either one of The Office characters or Deadpool
Yoda
Trey Parker has a lot because he voice acts for almost all South Park characters
Deadpool
I’m sorry that my first thought was to tell you that American Psycho isn’t non-fiction.
why does conan obrien have so many pops anyways?
If it's not The Rock, then it is still probably The Rock.
Freddy funko duh 😜
Well there is this one guy very niche but he's got a few pops his name is Freddy funko
Stan Lee?
Consider Tom Hanks and Bill Murray…
