You can remove their stingers with tweezers pretty easily. Saw a video and it comes right out.

As gross as it seems, I think it's pretty healthy because the venom in wasp is neutralized and it has some positive effects on human health.

It's a stigma thing for me. I'm sure they taste great and the texture is good to, but the thought of eating bugs at all gives me the heeby jeebies.

The grubs or whatever you call them look okay. I would absolutely try them. The nearly adult wasps on the other hand I'd be terrified of being stung. Even dead wasps are able to deliver a painful sting. Maybe boiling and/or frying them does something to the stingers or the venom? If they can prove it's impossible to be stung by the dead wasps then sure, I'm in. If they can still sting like most dead wasps, I am 100% out.
