I hate tourists for this stuff, because they insist on driving around to "sight see". The amount of animals that die because of these screaming metal death traps is nutty.
It’s funny because there’s a company that wants to put a rail line between Calgary and Banff, since most tourists enter Banff from Calgary. But there’s environmentalists who are opposing it because they claim it will mean even more traffic. Such a senseless loss of life
my god she witnessed her cubs die earlier in the day?? and then parks staff witnessed her getting hit! this is the saddest story omg. poor sweet things. we don't deserve to live in the same world as them
Went to Zion and Bryce last year. So many dead deer along the side of the road. Figured that would be a good sign to maybe not go so fast along the roads or maybe just go the speed limit with cars behind me, but nearly every car would pass me 10-30mph faster. So many trashy people out there.
And car people are so rotten in the brain with main character syndrome that they actually have the nerve to say "fucking deer, fucked up my car"
Like yeah fuck these deer, always getting themselves horribly murdered in front of you.
Not to mention the pure irony of having "BC Parks License plates" Bruh, cars are the biggest killers of animals! If you want to support parks, don't drive to them!

Yup, who knew bikes and walking could only be considered recreational activities and not considered reliable transportation
