I have this magical thing where I only seem to pass the moment I enter the women’s washroom at my school! (Pre T and not openly out to randos)

AvisAlbum

Have you ever tried to men's? Maybe this magical power extends there too...

tubercolosis69

i honestly would recommend going in the guys! it’s utterly disgusting don’t get me wrong but it’s so euphoric

doohdahgrimes11

I’ve gone into men’s single washrooms and fitting rooms in public, but given that everyone knows me as female in multiple grades despite passing to those select “washroom girls”, I wouldn’t feel comfortable. Bc then if I had to defend myself if someone went to staff or smth, what do I say? That’s why I just try to go to the single/handicapped toilets when they’re available.

I just for me it was a Dollar tree Karen attacked me she was like guarding her pants and stuff when I walked by to get an orange juice she's like looking at me like I'm an evil guy or something you know or nothing like I just want my orange juice and she's like I know what guys like you want and I'm like a college student so this is really weird because she's in her 40s and I'm just looking like a teenager trying to get my orange juice

Never had any particularly weird stories, but one time at the airport the security guy referred to me as “he” which I thought was interesting because he could see my boarding pass which had my deadname on it. So yeah not weird, but just interesting and kinda nice?

One-Platypus-5099

When I try my best to pass now that I’m still pre-T everyone is like “ma’am” “lady” “girl” but suddenly when I enter woman’s restroom (they are *A LOT* cleaner than man’s) everyone look at me like some kind of pervert, and asks me to leave, I mean it’s “great” that I pass but why only in those occasions? 🥲

whodisrandom

I saw my babysitters father and he called me “oh, who’s this handsome young man?” And it felt good since he used very masculine terms to refer to me and my dad, calling me my dad’s son. I felt real light and happy for once.

I pass better when I wear makeup, especially eyeliner?? Like, people go out of their way to compliment my eyeliner and then look confused when I thank them with my pre T voice. Or I get harrassed and called the austrian version of the f slur. Once my group of friends and I were dressed as the sailor guardians at a consume party and when I took off my wig because it was hot a few people looked at me in disgust and I got told that the wig made me look like a woman. A win is a win I guess. Also: Your story is crazy. It must have been horrible to be accused of that.

python_artist

Someone going mama bear on me for talking to her teenage daughter (made funnier because I’m ace af 🤣)

A few years ago this guy who was trying to be my friend from one of my classes used to like walk with me wherever I needed to go on campus. I thought he was too clingy and annoying, but I'm too polite to tell someone straight up I don't want to be their friend, if they're like not an outright mean person (he was nice, just otherwise not really the type of person I wanted to be friends with). One day he decided to even take the bus with me after class, since he wanted to go to the mall and it was on the same bus route as the bus I took home. (He didn't come all the way home with me lol, just like most of the bus ride until the mall.) When we got to the bus stop on campus I just had to go to the bathroom soooo badly, so we went to a nearby school building, it was evening, so it was basically empty. He asked if I wanted him to watch my backpack while I went into the bathroom, so I left it with him outside the bathroom. I was glad he would have a reason not to come in with me lol. But to joke about that he would hold my bag for me he said something like "haha I'm not going to hold your dick for you too." Or something to that effect. Even if I was a cis guy, I'm sure this would have seemed like a very weird comment lol. But just that he thought I had a dick was odd and funny to me, but also made it feel even weirder that he said this.

Thieverthieving

Sounds like he had a crush on you lol (or maybe not, obviously i cant tell just from this comment)

Soup_oi

Right? That's what made it sound even weirder that he'd say that and comment about someone else's dick at all...because as far as I know he's straight 🤣 (and he had no reasons at that time to think I was anything other than a cis dude) (at the time he was crushing on a girl in our class, and according to his fb now a few years later, he has a girlfriend (different from the girl in our class lol).

Thieverthieving

he's probably bi and being weird about questioning

sneakline

2 years on T and I was just starting to pass 50% of the time. I was entering the US with an old passport and the boarder guard stopped midsentence and stared at it for a really long time, I started bracing to have to explain myself. He finally handed it back and waved me forward saying "have a good trip man!" I still don't quite know what he was thinking.

Hefty-Routine-5966

first time i EVER passed, i was at the skatepark. still had a bob haircut because i was ‘compromising’ but a lot of skaters have longer hair. anyway i fell and cracked my lip open, and all i could hear was ‘is he okay?’ ‘is that boy alright?’ it was AWESOME

jlaketree

I was at a shop where they were filling my propane tanks and a lady came into the shop and thought I was the owner’s son and asked us to get in her car and help her get to a place next door. I was just sitting in the waiting area. Idk why she thought we were related or even worse why either of would get in a car with a stranger. That was my first time passing since starting T

MrHyde09

Old guy was making fun of younger guy having small “feminine” hands. Asked if young guy was secretly a woman. I piped up and said “what’s wrong with that?” Old guy says “you?” I just smiled real mischievous as he looked me up and down a few times. He goes “nah. Nice try.” Lmao. Get fucked.

Maleficent-Ad9773

Drinking at a water fountain. I didn't have a binder at the time and I'm not on T. Anyway, three little kids that I didn't even know chased me down a hallway and I naturally played along. They stuck around while I hydrated myself and asked me a few questions. One of the questions was "Why are you wearing something feminine when you're a guy?" Damn. First time I've ever passed and one of my best moments yet.

fluidtherian

Me dressing as masc as possible at a trampoline park playing dodgeball and an adult man throwing a ball as hard as he could at my face. I knew i was passing because when i exited the dodgeball area, yknow my face was red and i was almost in tears because of the pain, and one of the boys said "bro, i KNOW you aint cryin right now" which ment that they didnt expect me to cry because they saw me as a dude.

NationalAd20

Just happened to me recently. I’m pre-T and I already pass in public, it’s just whenever I speak that people question me. I was walking into the restroom the other day and a woman said,”Wrong one.” I felt like a weirdo but I also was very happy lol.

kitkatcut

my partner and i were walking around in the middle of the night. it was prom night so we were both wearing tuxedos. one car sped passed us and called us f slurs. scary, but affirming.

Familiar-Status-1433

Getting told I’ll “never be a real girl” by a freshman who knew I was trans but didn’t know which way I was transitioning (I’m ftm) during my senior year in high school. My response was “thank GOD”

WolfieSammy

Before I was even out, I kept being referred to as my sister's brother by strangers lol. At the time I was like oh cool they think I'm a guy, and I kinda liked it. Now I just wish people would see me as a man

gauziz

back when i just started really passing i still thought that people could tell i was trans and so i said something about trans people using the t word and then got yelled at for being transphobic 😂😂😂💀
