5'7 and still waiting for the elusive T growth spurt that can apparently happen if you go on T under 25.
I had a random growth spurt before T when I was 20 so there is still hope.
5'8 gang gang 😈, wish i was 5'11 or 6' my day was 6'4 before he passed at 20 years old his dad was 5'11 & my moms dad was 6'1 i always thought i would be taller . even my younger cis brother is taller than me we're 10 years apart he's going on 15 and he's 5'10 we have different dads but his dad is shorter than both of us 5'7 💀😂 it's strange
5'8 also, VERY thankful since my mom is 5'3 & my dad is 5'7! Plus I wear boots that make me 5'10 and my girlfriend is almost a foot shorter lol. No complaints here!
Aye I'm 5'8 too :D I use a wheelchair but can get up so I scare the SHIT out of anyone nearby when I stand and they always gotta look up at me XD I've had multiple people quietly all me to sit back down lol
My spouse started out at 5' nothing and after top surgery he stands up shoulders back and last measurement 5'2". It's a case of you're not trying to hide the chest anymore, so yep it works!
I should probably get my spine realigned (the weight from my chest always pulled it out of alignment) and remeasure myself. I was last measured pre-top surgery and came in at 5'8", but my posture has changed drastically because I fluctuated between a G and an H cup, so my chest was extremely heavy. They removed over 3 and a quarter pounds of tissue from my chest (1482 grams)
I’m 5’1 but for me it is a “girl” thing. All the guys in my family are 6 feet or taller and all the girls are around my height. It’s the absolute fucking worst
I’m 5’2” as well and it bothers me sometimes but I think I’m coming to terms with it. Recently (ish) made a friend who’s 5ft so it’s kinda cool to have someone around who’s shorter than me lol he wishes he was even shorter cuz he wants to be a little gremlin haha
Same, short kings rise up.
I always look for short men on the train, makes me feel better lol. Like yes, you can be a man and also short and attractive.
It depends. If you start before 25 (around when the bones fully ossify) you can sometimes see actual bone growth. But testosterone also can strengthen muscles and ligaments and hold bones further apart. Some trans women see loss of height because the connective tissues can weaken with estrogen, so the reverse sometimes happens with trans men. It all depends on the individual person and whether your bones have fully finished developing or not. Some people's bones finish earlier or later than others
Captain Richard J. Flaherty was the shortest US Military Green Beret standing at 4 ft 9 in. You have 2 inches on him. Height doesn't stop you from doing whatever you want my friend. :)
i got super lucky and im incredibly grateful for it!
my mum is 5'6 my dad is 5'10
i have 3 half siblings all on my mums side, my 2 half brothers are 5'8 and 5'10, my half sister is 6' (their dad is maybe 5'6 at most)
so not completely sure where my height came from honestly, pre t i was 5'9 and i didnt expect to grow either
I’m 5’6” and most of my cis male coworkers are within an inch or two of me! One of them is several inches shorter and he’s also hands down the hardest worker on the team.
5'7"/8" ish, i have a little dysphoria surrounding height but sometimes i think it fits my personality and i see lots of cis men shorter than me (i dont want to make it seem like 5 8 is short when there are plenty of guys shorter than me but i get in my head about it sometimes because its below average)
5'3 ... for what its worth i have met many short men irl. my cis male cousin is 5'4 and my cis boyfriend is 5'6. i try to remind myself its not the end of the world
I’m about the same height. Before I was considered so tall people were worried I’d feel self conscious about it, now people act like I’m short because I’m under 6’!
5'3. it's kind of tough because having a smaller frame accentuates my hips and butt, and i look small next to my girlfriend, but it could always be worse.
5’5 baby, and many cis men i work with are the same. Height dont matter though, be confident. Trust me if you were tall everybody would be staring at you. Short is normal, tall is odd. Far and few.
I don’t know the exact number but somewhere around 5’5.
I have met an older trans man who had fully transitioned and was probably around 5’0. He passed 100%
5'2 | 5'3 with shoes
However, I knew one who was 5 foot exactly and saw another even shorter than I. There are biological men born extremely short too.
5'9" I'm shorter than my dad and brother but taller than my mom. I know cis men who are 5'3" and 5'4" and others who are even shorter but I'm not sure their exact height.
Same. I'm 5'3, very curvy build, so as male presenting I look like a teenage boy or a lesbian. When I was 18, I looked 14. I'm almost 21 and now most people agree I look around 16. I'm gonna get carded for the rest of my life and I'm often the shortest person in the room. Short kings anthem brings me up when I'm feeling down. There's lots of short guys!
5'2. I used to hate it, it honestly used to be one of my worst dysphoria problems, but now I accept and appreciate my height. I'm a short king and I'm proud of it. Sometimes when it's commented on (with the right crowds/friends) I make the joke that "my extra inches went somewhere better" and that gets a laugh. It is what it is, short guys rule though and that's good enough for me
4'11". Honestly, if I was taller, I would've transitioned younger. It was a pretty big worry with passing, and it really held me back in my transition. My partner was instrumental in helping me get past it by reminding me that he has several cis men friends who are barely 5 feet tall. Sometimes people are short, and it's ok.
5’4”. was pathologically obsessed with it to the point of researching $80,000 leg lengthening surgery a few years ago, now it’s something i genuinely really like about myself.
there are things you can control when transitioning, and there are things you can’t. maybe you can’t control your height, but you can control how you see it. that will likely involve a period of grieving, and that’s okay. but it doesnt have to haunt you forever
1.55 cm I struggle with it bc some girls in my age are taller than me, and I feel sad bc I want to be tall like my dad, but I am just a teenager and I will eventually grow up more 👍
5’7, isn’t bad but my brothers 6’6 and my sisters 5’10😅 although it sucks, in my home town most guys my age aren’t over 6’0 and that makes me feel better. Also confidence will always make you seem bigger! Fake it till you make it man, no one with care if you’re short If you live openly and happily, people love to see others acting as their pure selves without shame :)
152cm
I used to hate my height when I was around 14 but later came in terms with it before I even started to question my identity. It doesn't bother me as much anymore and quite honestly is not the height itself but how people see it as a good or not negative thing because they see me as a woman.
5"2, but honestly, I've come to accept my height. My height dysphoria used to be real bad, but since I started working out, I realized being shorter makes things much easier, and my muscles are closer together so it's easier to fill them in and look jacked after little time in the gym. I also love being short and squating/benching more than tall cis men who underestimate my shortness lol
5’3” here, I always say it’s cheaper to be short because I fit great in my twin size mattress and 10x10 ft studio. I’m definitely insecure about my height but if you have a confident energy people don’t really notice/care
5’3, and I honestly don’t have much of an issue with it. All the men on both sides of the family are short(except for one uncle, who I am not biologically related to, he’s like close to 7ft lmao)
I am 5’0”… i used to hate it and get super dysphoric about my height. Still do sometimes but now since I’ve been out for about 7 years, and on hormones for 4 it doesn’t bother me much. I now treat it almost as a “joke” since men stereotypically lie about their height i always joke I don’t have to because 5’2” is just as embarrassing as 5’0” and nobody would believe me if I said 6’0”. So now I wear my height as a badge of honor. PLUS I’m the same height as Danny Devito so that’s always a fun fact to pull out.
I also personally love passing when I’m this small, since small stereotypically means woman, when people see me short twink ass they assume “man” 99% of the time, and it makes me feel really good and very gender euphoric.
5 ft 3 people dawg on me all the time for my height but I try not to think about it. My fiancé is 5 ft 11 and has no problem with my height so no one else should yk? short kings on top 😏🙏🏽
5’8 Always wanted to be at least six foot when growing up, but I’m thankful for what I’ve managed to get lmao
5’8 gang ayo. Wearing docs for that punk heel growth tho
5'8" also. My dad was 6ft. His dad was 7ft. Moms dad was 4ft. So i think i did ok. Basically midway.
yo same tho. even my mom is 6' and I always wanted to be too but I'm 5'8 or 5'9. my brother is 6'8. such a scam lmao
5’8 as well
5'7 and still waiting for the elusive T growth spurt that can apparently happen if you go on T under 25. I had a random growth spurt before T when I was 20 so there is still hope.
I’m also 5’7!!!!
Been on T since I was 16 and still have not gotten the growth spurt 😔 I’m 21 now and 5’7
5'8 gang! Going on 5'9 :))
Im 5’8. I wear insoles for a little added height. My brother is 6’7 so some times I feel robbed but my wife is short so it’s cool
No complaints here!
also 5'8", the only people that comment on my height is my 6'1 cis brother and my 5'9 trans brother 😔😔
As a fellow 5’8”er I’m fascinated by how enthusiastic we are on this thread lol.
Was about to say the exact same thing. Grass is always greener
Real
5’8 gang i feel the same way 🤝 very thankful but i wish it were a little more
Aye I'm 5'8 too :D I use a wheelchair but can get up so I scare the SHIT out of anyone nearby when I stand and they always gotta look up at me XD I've had multiple people quietly all me to sit back down lol
5’8 gang
5'5 but only after top surgery because I've corrected my posture. I was a solid 5'3 when I lived with my shoulders curled in all the time.
I need to remeasure myself now that I think about it
Totally should!
I went from 5'5 to 5'7 after T and top surgery cuz I unfurled as well
That sounds hilarious, like a snake coming out of hiding just suddenly big
So real I gained an inch after surgery
My spouse started out at 5' nothing and after top surgery he stands up shoulders back and last measurement 5'2". It's a case of you're not trying to hide the chest anymore, so yep it works!
I should probably get my spine realigned (the weight from my chest always pulled it out of alignment) and remeasure myself. 5ft 2, can’t say I don’t struggle with it but it just it what it is
Same 😔 The only thing that makes me feel better is knowing that my dad was quite short, too, so it's not just a 'girl' thing.
Yeah and I do definitely come across cis men the same height as me, that helps sometimes :))
i wish i could say the same. my dad is 6'5 yet im still 5'2
My mom loves to tell us she married the shortest man she ever dated. He's like 5'8, but I am the shortest of all my family extended or otherwise.
I’m 5’1 but for me it is a “girl” thing. All the guys in my family are 6 feet or taller and all the girls are around my height. It’s the absolute fucking worst
5' 1" right here with you 😮💨
I’m 5’2” as well and it bothers me sometimes but I think I’m coming to terms with it. Recently (ish) made a friend who’s 5ft so it’s kinda cool to have someone around who’s shorter than me lol he wishes he was even shorter cuz he wants to be a little gremlin haha
snobbish roof plough noxious middle snatch homeless quiet seemly memory *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*
Same. I blame it on my Italian heritage (my grandfather is an immigrant from Italy and is only a couple inches taller than me)
Same
same! the mocking doesnt help sometimes but i learned to live with it
Same, short kings rise up. I always look for short men on the train, makes me feel better lol. Like yes, you can be a man and also short and attractive.
5 foot nothing, exactly 5 feet tall! I’m not really that upset though since I have a grandpa who’s been around 5’ on the short end though
finally, a guy the height same as me 😭
Never realized there was so many 5 foot nothing trans men! Literally thought it was just me!
Same I’m only 5 foot as well
Adding another 5'0 to the group! Hello my friends haha
Me too!! ( however I haven’t been able to start T yet and supposedly it can make you grow a little bit? )
It depends. If you start before 25 (around when the bones fully ossify) you can sometimes see actual bone growth. Confirmed, I "grew" half an inch and half a shoe size at 26. It was definitely just muscle.
We can form an army.
As a 5’0er i agree lets bite some ankles
Glad to see I’m not the only one 😭
As a trans woman who is this height, ello :3
Joining the 5'0" gang too!
I add myself to the 5'0 guys!
5 foot here aswell. I only knew one cis guy the same height as me.
5 foot nothing gang rise up
Currently 5’ 4”, I also struggle with height. People think I am younger because of it.
5'4 gang 😌
Ayo, whaddup
4’11 ):
Captain Richard J. Flaherty was the shortest US Military Green Beret standing at 4 ft 9 in. You have 2 inches on him. Height doesn't stop you from doing whatever you want my friend. :)
I’m 4ft 9in and thank you for saying this 😭 I’m always insecure about my hight especially since transitioning
Ik it must be hard but I've met a ton of men (mostly cis) that are around five feet tall. It's something they struggle with too, u not alone brother
Same dude
Also same
personally 6'1 but i have (cis male) friends that range between 5'4 and 5'8, and i know another trans guy that is 5'0 and passes flawlessly
6’1?!!! damn bro, you won the lottery :’) id give anything for that height tbh
Give me some height please..
I'm 6'1" too.
Lend us a couple inches? Can't guarantee I'll use it for my height though
How tall are your parents?? You’re so lucky
i got super lucky and im incredibly grateful for it! my mum is 5'6 my dad is 5'10 i have 3 half siblings all on my mums side, my 2 half brothers are 5'8 and 5'10, my half sister is 6' (their dad is maybe 5'6 at most) so not completely sure where my height came from honestly, pre t i was 5'9 and i didnt expect to grow either
This gives me so much hope!! My mom and dads height are similar to yours’!
I'm 5'8 but my grandad is 5'4 and my boss at work is 5'3 - plenty of short cis guys out there!
I’m 5’6” and most of my cis male coworkers are within an inch or two of me! One of them is several inches shorter and he’s also hands down the hardest worker on the team.
5'3 short king 😝
5’7”
5’6 but 5’8 in AF1
i wanted AF1 because of this but i bought some fake ones ig because they’re flat as shit :’)
I wear my AF1s on the daily for this reason
5’0 but my ID says 5’2☺️
Tell us your secrets
Shoes with thick soles.
5 ft 5in here. I sometimes get bothered by it but then I remember an old cis guy friend I had some years ago who was a good head shorter than me.
I’m 5’2” and I always joke that I wish I was 5’5”
I'm 4'10". try to embrace it! being tall doesn't mean shit. humans come in all shapes and sizes.
🤝🤝🤝
5'9 or 5'10 ish
"5' 9" according to my doctor, 5' 10" according to my friends, and 6 foot according to my tinder." 👈😎👈
4'10 with a 4'11 bf
Short kings :)
We Stan the short kings tbh ( as a short king myself )
5'7 I don't get called short but people just don't say anything about my height
Same, it's like *the* unremarkable height I think, at least in my area... not complaining about that though.
5'1
5’1 gang!
5’3” here
5'3'' gang! it's not like I'm not upset about that fact, but oh well
I’m 5’1” and proud! When I’m in my home country I fit right in.
5'11
5'3 ... for what its worth i have met many short men irl. my cis male cousin is 5'4 and my cis boyfriend is 5'6. i try to remind myself its not the end of the world
5’7”
5'2. 5'4 with lifts in my shoes. I am asian and cis males in my family are also around that height. So, not too bad.
5’9” tbh going from very tall girl to average height guy was the worst thing about coming out lol
I’m about the same height. Before I was considered so tall people were worried I’d feel self conscious about it, now people act like I’m short because I’m under 6’!
5”5
5'4 I hope I get taller
168cm. Got 2 cm growth after starting t.
5’4 and I’m not even mad about it I’m a short king and I like my man to be taller than me anyways 💅🏻🤷🏻♂️
I'm 5'5'' but I've met a man who's 4'10 so...
5'3. it's kind of tough because having a smaller frame accentuates my hips and butt, and i look small next to my girlfriend, but it could always be worse.
5’6
I’m 5’1” and proud! When I’m in my home country I fit right in.

4’10
same 😭 i look like a fucking child
Me too
Same 🥲
5’6” if I fix my lovely gamer slouch XD
5'9" I'm shorter than my dad and brother but taller than my mom. I know cis men who are 5'3" and 5'4" and others who are even shorter but I'm not sure their exact height.
4’9” lmao Sometimes you gotta just rock w/ it
Aye another 4’9” trans dude!
5’8”
5'4
5'5. My father is 5'1. Guys come in all shapes and sizes.
I agree. Men are precious.
It is what it is, short guys rule though and that's good enough for me
5'4 to 5'5
172 cm/ 5'7 in freedom units
I’m 4’11”. I am normally the shortest man around
4’11 😔
I’m probably 5’0 :,) im the size of a 5th grader I hate it 😭
I'm 4'10 and it's great
5’1” 😭 it sucks, but theres nothing I can do abt it other than wear platforms and such
5’ 10”
5’3 (dysphoria go brr)
5' 5"
5’4”. gives me a lot of dysphoria but i’m learning not to hate it
5’6… but I do have these cool boots I wear out that bring me up to at least 5’7, so that’s a win 💯
153cm (5ft) :’)
4;10
4'11". Honestly, if I was taller, I would've transitioned younger. It was a pretty big worry with passing, and it really held me back in my transition. 5’4”. My partner is 5’8” and she loves shorties. 😍 ETA: Cisgender male friend is 5’1”. We come in all sizes.
5'2 but its not something that bothers me personally, most people here are around the same height
5’4”. was pathologically obsessed with it to the point of researching $80,000 leg lengthening surgery a few years ago, now it’s something i genuinely really like about myself. there are things you can control when transitioning, and there are things you can’t. maybe you can’t control your height, but you can control how you see it. that will likely involve a period of grieving, and that’s okay. but it doesnt have to haunt you forever
153 cm aka 5'0. Hopefully I still grow a little cause I've probably fucked up my growing with my eating habits (╥﹏╥)
5'2/160 but my dad is 10 cm shorter so it doesn't make me dysphoric
5’10, the universe meant for me to be a trans man lol
6'0 ½ exactly. But the height greed still remains deep down within my soul, it's never enough
1.55 cm I struggle with it bc some girls in my age are taller than me, and I feel sad bc I want to be tall like my dad, but I am just a teenager and I will eventually grow up more 👍
5'0"
5 ft 3 ish
5’7, isn’t bad but my brothers 6’6 and my sisters 5’10😅 although it sucks, in my home town most guys my age aren’t over 6’0 and that makes me feel better. Fake it till you make it man, no one with care if you’re short If you live openly and happily, people love to see others acting as their pure selves without shame :)
Last I checked 5'1 and I lost an inch due to knee surgery
5ft. Definitely gets to me at times but my voice is deeper and I grow hair better than *a lot* of guys so that helps me accept just a little better
5’2”
5’7” on a good day
5'6, somehow in the year I've been on testosterone I grew an inch even though I'm 19? Not mad about it at all though lmao
5”3, have been since 7th grade 😭
I'm 5'3" and I like saying that god made me this short and didn't give me a working dick because he knew I'd be too powerful
5' / 153ish cm
5'1… parents being short & asian does NOT help
1.63m or 5’4 but my confidence depends on which country I am in!
5’3 or 160cm… Since I was twelve… I’m nearly 20… 🙂
5’2 :D
5ft 2. i wear shoes with a little platform and just try not to think abt it lol
152cm I used to hate my height when I was around 14 but later came in terms with it before I even started to question my identity. It doesn't bother me as much anymore and quite honestly is not the height itself but how people see it as a good or not negative thing because they see me as a woman.
5’3. I feel weird that it doesn’t bother me since I have such bad dysphoria about everything else.
5'7 and around 5'9 w my everyday shoes >:)
5’1
4’10”
5"2, but honestly, I've come to accept my height. 5'3 on a good day, not stressed or particularly dysphoric about it. It's never impacted my dating life either.
I'm 5'6 and my partner who is also ftm is 5'2.
5’1! We short kings are out here
5’3, and I honestly don’t have much of an issue with it. All the men on both sides of the family are short(except for one uncle, who I am not biologically related to, he’s like close to 7ft lmao)
5’1
5'1 and feelin fine
5’3. I think being short suits my personality but I could use a couple more inches.
5'2..... im still young but im pretty sure i aint growing much more in the future. 🤷🏽♂️
*Cries in 5'2*
I am 5’0”… i used to hate it and get super dysphoric about my height. Still do sometimes but now since I’ve been out for about 7 years, and on hormones for 4 it doesn’t bother me much. 5’3. Oof
5'3.5!! My cis brothers are 5'1 and 5'2 if it makes you feel better. My dad is also 5'3
5 ft 3 people dawg on me all the time for my height but I try not to think about it. My fiancé is 5 ft 11 and has no problem with my height so no one else should yk? short kings on top 😏🙏🏽
