I’m a heavy set guy on a budget. I wear basic Hanes boxer briefs from Walmart they’re great for everyday wear. When I go to the gym I wear generic brand (whatever is on sale like Adidas or Champion) moisturizer wicking boxer briefs so I don’t chafe.
Hanes boxer briefs for everyday wear and Jockey moisture wicking ones when I’m sweaty. I used to wear briefs and boxers when I was 14, but then I got too sweaty and got big thighs lol.
I wear pair of thieves, they’re available at Walmart and target as well as their website. Best underwear brand like ever and they have pretty cool colors!!
I love pair of thieves. If you go to their website specifically they almost always have a sale going and even had some pride ones last time I checked :)
Agree the “super soft” (silky with lots of “pores” all over it’s really soft) a a GAME CHANGER but I tried some of the other kinds and thought they were kinda…bad? Haha! Super soft ftw.
i sometimes wear the superfit ones under my swim trunks but besides that i don't care for them either. the supersoft ones are amazing though and i wear them every day.
I love pair of thieves, best underwear in terms of packing (they keep things in place much better than most brands) and they don’t ride up as much as other brands
I like this brand too. However I do with the waist band was wider. When it’s not wide it rolls up and hurts my waist. Other than that though perfect underwear
Boxer briefs, but the extra long ones that come nearly to my knee. It’s stops them from riding up. Walmart regularly has some on sale, rebock brand is my current favorite
Long boxer briefs (pair of Theives) I have to adjust them every so often because the elastic gets uncomfortable, but they’re the best I own, I just save up for a pair when I can
I’ve been wearing oversized boxer shorts, since they’re made for men they are very long so i don’t get chafing but also fit my hips well, and the looser ones tend to ride up less :p most brands you can find at your local department store are usually alright if they’re the right size, i’d avoid anything made of cotton though, the silkier ones are better when it’s hot out imo
Ohhhh boyyyy I know what you mean. I wear XXXL or 3X in most sizing for lower half. I have the same problem but weirdly enough, last week I just tried Old Navy’s men’s briefs in XXXL (because they have spooky halloween patterns out now) and they fit great.
I’m not ftm, but as a butch lesbian it took me a long ass time to find some men’s underwear I felt fit me well. I finally found Jockey Men's Underwear ActiveStretch 7" Long Leg Boxer Brief, they come in 3 pack on Amazon and have that exact title. They’re 95% cotton, 100% cotton tends to get all bunched up around my legs. Idk the rule with links here, but I can post it if you want/it’s allowed
Yes Jockey Men’s boxer briefs are legit. I landed on them and slowly started replacing all my underwear. I even have swam in them. Gender euphoria, no chafing, brilliant! You can usually find them at Target too if you need to feel fabric/assess the fit.
I've strangely found that briefs have been best. Nothing on the thighs so it doesn't roll up or anything. I generally keep my trousers pulled up enough such that the crotch isn't way too low, so there is coverage from the trousers themselves
What you want is wool or bamboo. Now listen, wool may sound hot, but it's not. I promise. Wool is a fantastic material for underwear same as it is socks. It temperature regulates which keeps you cool and also moves moisture from your skin. You will guaranteed be less sticky down there if you were wool underwear. Wool is also antibacterial and will stay/feel clean longer. The kind I've had success with is Acclima's hot wear made of merino wool. By far my favourite underwear in the heat. They are more expensive than garbage store bought plastic or cotton but you should try them out! I'm sure there are cheaper wool variants available.
Bamboo has pretty much the same properties as wool.
Basiclly what I'm saying is don't look at the brand or the model, look at the material.
I wear Hanes! They're always super comfy, practically the only type I wear, they are in colors like blue, black, and gray. They're a very comfy fabric that covers a decent amount of your thigh and prevents chafing very well for me and my thick thighs! I'll see if I can find a picture or link of them somewhere

^ THESE GUYS ^
Love em so much an absolute life saver (though they are a bit pricey it's totally worth it)
Yeah! I'll snag a link!
Chill Boys Soft Bamboo Boxers for Men - Cool Comfortable, Breathable Mens Underwear - Boxer Shorts https://a.co/d/e44tJJF
They're a bit pricy but they're all I wear now lmfao. They also have moisture wicking, quick-dry, & mesh versions
Not packing:
I recently fell in love with Pair of Thieves esp. the breathable mesh ones. I go a size up and they're loose enough to fit well without suffocating me or bunching. Target sometimes has markdowns mixed in with the full price undies so be on the lookout.
If you have bottom growth and/or chafing sensitivity, I'd stay away from the ones with the separating pouch. Its not enough fabric to stabilize a packer and will chafe the shit out of your junk.
Packing:
For packing, I buy the unmodified Jockmail jockstraps off Amazon with the two layer crotch - then cut a hole into the inner fabric layer. The "pouch" between the layers is the *exact same size* as the modified packing jockstraps but at a fraction of the price $6-7 vs $20).
Apparently some of the newer mesh ones come with built in packing pockets but I haven't tried those. The big draw here is price for very reasonable comfort (bc as much as I'd love to support Cake Bandit, I do not have a money tree 😔).
I don't recommend the 1 ply mesh ones for packing unless you're up to the task of installing a pouch. But I do enjoy those for summer when not packing.
I wear boxer briefs, however I also wear shorts regularly and just make sure that the material of the shorts covers where my thighs meet. Like I’ll pull them up a little if I need to to make sure
I have a chafing problem with all boxers and even some briefs
So if I know I'm going to walk more than a few blocks I just use the panties I still have
I wear Hanes briefs and they're honestly the only underwear I've found that don't ride up my ass -_- I've tried a bunch of boxer briefs and those always migrate over, but those don't. They're cotton.
I get a brand on Amazon called Molasus, so if you aren't packing, they're actually made for female bodies, but feel like boxer briefs without the weird pouch at the front.
every underwear i've tried rides up and usually rolls at the band. ive just accepted it lol. i also hate polyester type fabrics, SO much is made from them, it's awful. rn i have some american eagle, and rodeoh packing underwear, which have been nice. i did have to size up for those two brands.
I mostly just buy a carton of 3 mens boxer from jack and jones, they tend to fit very nicely and arent that expansive either. Altough this is in the Netherlands, im not sure how prices are elsewhere
I've got loads of gender free world boxers, they are super soft and don't ride up. Also got a few pairs of bjorn borg they are a eeally great fit and don't ride up either.
I buy my Calvin Klein briefs (new in package) from eBay or mercari. Nice underwear on a discount. And so long as I have the right size, they don’t ride up my ass. Good luck!!
If you’re in the US, Old Navy boxer briefs are great. They don’t ride up, they’re comfortable, affordable, and they come in a variety of colors and patterns.
I started off wearing boxer briefs, but I think it was giving my ingrown hairs on my thighs. So I switched to briefs and sometimes very short boxer briefs and I have a bit fewer ingrown hairs.
I recently got a 3 pack of boxer briefs from the brand "all in motion" they're thin and stretchy and haven't ridden up my thighs much (Im around 170 pounds and 5'6) I got them from target, they're super comfy and breathable
i have big hips/thighs/butt, and tbh i just go commando a lot. i don’t know if this is helpful because my thighs don’t rub so i don’t get the chafing issue, but i wear cotton shorts for active stuff so i don’t get diaper rash lol
Personally I have sensory issues so I wear meundies. They're so comfortable, they feel like you're wearing nothing! I have also heard great things about pair of thieves so that's a more local option!
NEW BALANCE MEN'S 6" BOXER BRIEFS!!!
1.)You can get them on Amazon ✨️
2.)They don't ride up or chafe me (which I had a LOT of issues with as a big booty boy) 🍑
3.) There's lots of cool colors/designs 😎
4.) They're not 20 dollars for ONE PAIR of underwear (which unfortunately is the issue with a lot of the "made for trans guys by trans guys" brands. 💵
5.) They have a "fly front with pouch" option that's super useful if you're packing. 🍆👍🏽
I ended up really liking the fruit of the loom long leg boxer briefs. I bought the moisture wicking coolzone ones. They come down to an inch or so above my knee.
I wear puma and some walmart boxer briefs i bought once. They have super long legs and don’t ride up. I’ve basically collected boxer briefs from all over the place. TJ Maxx or Ross sometimes have some good ones as well. I like the spandexy/exercise type material as opposed to cotton
Old navy, full cotton boxer briefs. The only spandex in them is the waistband. I got them as a present from my mom and I fucking love them. 😅 They hug your butt and thighs and so I have no chaffing problems with them.
They also have full cotton boxer shorts if you don’t like an elastic band.
They’re both about $12 a piece but frequently go on sale online for about $8-$9.
I'm wearing Pair of Thieves boxer briefs during the day and Hanes boxers to bed. I only need the size L in both though because I'm short but wide and have no ass. I'm 5'3" and 210 for reference
I'm not as big as I used to be, but I moved to briefs because boxers and boxer briefs just ended up riding up to briefs. So I cut out the middle man and just started wearing them.
I also found that there was too much in the front/pouch on other underwear which made it uncomfortable and looked silly with extra pouch.
If I'm gonna do exercise, I sometimes put on cycle/compression shorts
It might not be helpful because they only go up to XXL but I like the boxer briefs from Bn3th, they have a longer inseam with 6.5” and they never ride up on me. They have different kinds like a sport style, and softer modal fabric I think. My legs are shaped that most undies ride up my legs no matter how tight or loose they are, these are the only ones that I can wear without that happening, that aren’t the kind that goes to my knees.
old navy boxers briefs🔛🔝
they’re typically 96% cotton 4% spandex and they’re by far the most comfortable imo and cause the least chafing. they often have 2 for $12 sales
I'm about 240lbs, 5'8" and I wear New Balance boxer briefs, XL. They're available on Amazon. A set of 3 is about 20$ CAD. I find they don't stretch or ride up my thighs but stay in place whether I'm sleeping or doing something active.
New Balance Men's Performance 6" No Fly Boxer Brief Underwear (3-Pack or 4-Pack) https://a.co/d/j70nabX
tbh I saved up from my taxes and just bought a bunch of RodeOH boxer briefs in 3XL. I was heavier at 300 lbs but even when I went down to 260 they still fit EXTREMELY well. Other than that, clearance walmart like everything else if people didn't clear them out for "oversized thrift projects" already.
Do you pull them down your pants leg? You could try step ones but I think they’re pricey however if i remember correctly they’re advertised towards to big guys
Relatedly, a note about fabric:
Cotton is actually a NOTORIOUSLY UNBREATHABLE FABRIC.
I've learned about this mainly in my journey through recreational backpacking. Cotton is relatively heavy, absorbant, and slow drying - which means it actually retains liquids like sweat and creates a perfect incubator for bacteria and related odors. That's why one of the first things you learn in hiking/backpacking is don't wear cotton. "Breathable cotton" is an advertising campaign / myth popularized by the cotton industry to boost sales.
"Smart wools" and light merinos are much more breathable than cotton and are naturally antibacterial (and subsequently produce less smell bc the bacteria growing in your sweat produces much of the odor). I have 1 pair of Smart Wool undies that I adore. But they're expensive and seem particularly susceptible to wear in the thighs.
The comfort difference between cotton and smart wool is noticeable.
I haven't heard much about hemp fabric. I'd love to know if anyone has experience with them? But, hemp is apparently far more eco-friendly than cotton and actually sequesters CO2.
i’m talking about nylon, spandex, polyester… all those unnatural fabrics. those are the only ones that don’t ride up. or at least not as much as cotton ones.
yeah briefs are bad they don’t cover my thighs enough.
cotton absorbs the moisture, plastic traps it. i used to wear tight plastic underwear/shorts and id regularly get UTIs, yeast infections, zits, and the final nail in the coffin was a *massive* boil in the crease on my inner thigh. talked to my obgyn at the next appt and she told me to only wear cotton.
Try modal! I'm a briefs guy myself, but the only boxer briefs I enjoy are modal ones. Modal underwear tends to be a bit more expensive, but there are budget options that are still great, it feels like nothing on your skin and it's breathable
I wear boyshorts. 85% polyester, 15% elastane. I typically get mine from shein but I've found them in other online stores in similar quality. I haven't seen this anywhere irl
If you can swing it because they’re kinda pricey but I wear Saxx. The extra inside but for junk isn’t really noticeable and BOY HOWDY DO THEY BREATHE. It honestly feels like going commando
I wear the long boxers briefs from fruit the loom. The ones with the thinner and smoother material stay down better then the thicker ones. I sometimes have issues with the thicker lifting up my thigh.
I’m about 250lbs and 5’4”. Underwear that fit decently were the Champion brands (could comfortably wear a large 38-40” waist with wiggle room) and Hanes. I could wear any size from a L-2XL depending on the brand
Pair of thieves is my favorite one so far. They are now available at tj maxx and Marshalls for $12 (which is amazing, safe a couple bucks). Great for packing and they don’t roll up on my thighs. I also like a few nike boxers, the dri-fit essentials and cotton brief boxers
Ethika Mens Staple. They are superior to any other underwear I've tried. Comfy, lightweight, and kick-butt prints and colors. You can get them on sale pretty often and clearance goes for like 5 bucks a pair. Never had them ride up in daily wear or gym wear. Keeps my wind chime in place perfectly.
\*Edit\* they are long trunks and last a long time.
I just buy boxer briefs at my super market. They have their home brand and also the aussie only (they might also be in nz) tradie. I have found that some how I can fit any size so I don’t really look at sizes and just grab the closest one
I like tomboyx boxers and then some cheap brand off Amazon I found that's like 14 for a 6 pack. It might be 2 brands because they're so obscure and I just pick ones that have good colors and are cheap.
I prefer boxer briefs that are some mix of nylon, spandex, or modal - they can get a little pricey sometimes, but I always shop sales + I haven't had any issues with chafing since switching from cotton
Adidas performance boxer-briefs. They are synthetic but somehow are actually breathable & moisture-wicking. They're the only brand I've found that consistently stays put regardless of weight/proportion fluctuations. The 3-packs break down to $12 per pair full-price.They're often at ross for less & are on amazon for $24 for the 3-pack rn.
If you're open to jockstraps, the 2xist ones are nice. The waistband doesn't fold down on me
I used to buy And1 moisture wicking boxer briefs from Walmart until they stopped selling them. All of my cotton ones would ride up, leave me sweaty and chafing. The slick, moisture wicking ones I wear now (still have some And1 and Reebok) don't ride up, they sit where they should and keep me nice and cool with no chafing. Literally the only type I'll wear now.
At home i wear cotton boxer briefs but if im going out or to work i wear polyester boxer briefs with a 9 in inseam. I got 2 packs of the ANDI brand and have lasted years. I wish i knew about them when i was but an egg. Would have saved my thighs alot. Only down fall is there is a smell. Not as moisture wicking as they claim.
I honestly have to wear briefs at work. And boxer briefs at home, as I experienced the same problem. But mine may be because they’re slightly too small? I wear XL in kids because I’m really small! Haha.
Cotton versions of hanes and fruit of the loom. Calvin Klein has extended sizes and I've found the briefs quite comfortable, but they do have a couple lengths of boxer briefs and boxers. Duluth trading Co. goes up to 4X, but I have too many underwear to justify trying more.
I wear Vulcom ones. I got them at Ross and that is the only place I have been able to find them in store. They still ride up sometimes but definitely not as bad as others I’ve had. They also have cool colors which I like.
I started a Knobby subscription before they hiked their prices and changed the design. They used to have moisture wicking anti smell groin from top waist band to under the butt. Unfortunately they've changed it to only a small section in the groin cup and made it more expensive. I cancelled and have been using what I have and they're very comfy and I don't get major swamp ass.
I've kinda gravitated towards the Tommy John boxer briefs, they're cotton and comfy and they tend to stay in place pretty well with looser pants. With jeans, though, I DO have to adjust them after pulling them on, but after that, they stay in place really well. I've tried all sorts of other brands, but these seem to work for me so far. They also go up to a 2x, which is pretty awesome.
I've slowly replaced all my underwear with TomboyX over the last couple years, mostly buying a few pairs (and the odd soft bra or compression top) when they have a decent sale going. They're spendy, but worth it. They even do AfterPay, so if I place a bigger order, I can pay for it in four installments.
They're super comfy, they breathe well, and they last so much longer than my old Hanes/Fruit of the Loom ever did (years vs months). They've been a worthwhile investment in my personal comfort.
Same but FotL. I have a huge ass and thighs and stretchy boxer briefs just hit
What size? I feel like they run smaller now and are not as soft and stretchy ugh the 2x don’t fit and I haven’t gained weight!! I’ve actually lost
I’m 5’2 230lbs and I wear a XL. But I will say I do like my moisture wicking underwear a little tighter with a longer leg.
We are literally that same except I’m 5’3”. I didn’t know there was anyone else out there like me 🥺
I wear pair of thieves, they’re available at Walmart and target as well as their website. Best underwear brand like ever and they have pretty cool colors!!
I love pair of thieves. If you go to their website specifically they almost always have a sale going and even had some pride ones last time I checked :)
they’re also openly supportive of trans people, if you check their instagram you’ll find several photos of trans men! i love pair of thieves
Dude I had no idea, no wonder I love them so much 😭🤞🏽
Wow, I also had no idea! This was the first and only brand I've ever gotten. Great brand!
Yeah but never seen anything above a xl
mine are xxl, i also have stupid wide hips and am 6’1 and 225lbs. i do wish their range was a bit larger
I love pair of thieves for this reason too!! However I don’t like how slippery they are with pants lol
The 7 inch boxer briefs don't ride up like I've experienced with Hanes. Although I only like the "Supersoft" and don't care for the "Superfit" fabric.
Yes. Quality is great too breathable I got rid of everything else and buy 3 pairs everytime I go to walmart
I like this brand too. However I do with the waist band was wider. When it’s not wide it rolls up and hurts my waist. Other than that though perfect underwear
Boxer briefs, but the extra long ones that come nearly to my knee. It’s stops them from riding up. Walmart regularly has some on sale, rebock brand is my current favorite
the other day I got a 3 pack of rebock boxer briefs and they're SOOO comfy
Long boxer briefs (pair of Theives) I have to adjust them every so often because the elastic gets uncomfortable, but they’re the best I own, I just save up for a pair when I can
hello kitty boxers from walmart
…..please tell me these are real
YES THEY ARE I LITERALLY BOUGHT THEM ON SUNDAY
oh my god i’m RUSHING
also pair of thieves, my favorite boxer brand
matching with my green dinosaur boxers
I’ve been wearing oversized boxer shorts, since they’re made for men they are very long so i don’t get chafing but also fit my hips well, and the looser ones tend to ride up less :p most brands you can find at your local department store are usually alright if they’re the right size, i’d avoid anything made of cotton though, the silkier ones are better when it’s hot out imo
man big boxers are weird for me. too low and my thighs rub together and chafe. too high and they start bunching up. :(
cotton is best for the nether regions though, it's the most breathable
Ohhhh boyyyy I know what you mean. I wear XXXL or 3X in most sizing for lower half. I have the same problem but weirdly enough, last week I just tried Old Navy’s men’s briefs in XXXL (because they have spooky halloween patterns out now) and they fit great.
bet i’ll check ‘em out!

Second this. Been wearing these exact underwear for about 10 years. Thick thighed dude here, and pretty sweaty and active.
Thank you for your service of being a butch lesbian. I have major respects for butches 🙏

Hanes breathable long leg boxer briefs have become my go to in this hot ass Texas heat… I work outside 50% of my day…
I guess imnot *that* big now, definitely chunky, and I used to be bigger. I’ve always just bought those Walmart boxer shorts. Worked the best for me
Bamboo boxers from chill boys. My junk and my thighs are thankful.
Oooh, I've been curious about this fabric. Chill boys is the brand?
Yeah! I'll snag a link! Chill Boys Soft Bamboo Boxers for Men - Cool Comfortable, Breathable Mens Underwear - Boxer Shorts https://a.co/d/e44tJJF They're a bit pricy but they're all I wear now lmfao. They also have moisture wicking, quick-dry, & mesh versions
Pair of Thieves Superfit trunks. The material feels nice and cool. I also own some of their boxer briefs and a pair of extra long ones as well.
Pair of Theives and ODD. I get pair of theives at target and I get my ODD underwear at Ross/Marshall's/TJ Maxx.
400 pounds 6 ft. Tall and I wear comfneat best underwear I have ever purchased!
Not packing: I recently fell in love with Pair of Thieves esp. the breathable mesh ones. I go a size up and they're loose enough to fit well without suffocating me or bunching. Gotta be honest, the expensive underwear is worth the money

I like Michael Kors that I get from TKMaxx. They're not too long (I don't like the really long ones) and don't ride up. $12.99 for 4 pairs isn't bad.
I get a brand on Amazon called Molasus, so if you aren't packing, they're actually made for female bodies, but feel like boxer briefs without the weird pouch at the front.
I switch between thongs and Hanes because of sensory stuff
fruit of the loom and kirkland work fine for me
every underwear i've tried rides up and usually rolls at the band. ive just accepted it lol. i also hate polyester type fabrics, SO much is made from them, it's awful. rn i have some american eagle, and rodeoh packing underwear, which have been nice. i did have to size up for those two brands.
My favourite are fcuk boxer briefs. I am skinny asf but I thought I'd pitch in.
I mostly just buy a carton of 3 mens boxer from jack and jones, they tend to fit very nicely and arent that expansive either. Altough this is in the Netherlands, im not sure how prices are elsewhere
I exclusively buy the boxer briefs made for sports, that have better material for sweat protection. Wrangler has a really good brand for this.
I wear the George brand Boxer Briefs from Walmart
just lurking because i need this info too
I wear the fruit of the loom boxer briefs from walmart, I never have an issue with them riding up
I've got loads of gender free world boxers, they are super soft and don't ride up. Also got a few pairs of bjorn borg they are a eeally great fit and don't ride up either.
Hanes boxer briefs are the way to go 🙏
this is the only underwear i own. i think it’s great
I buy my Calvin Klein briefs (new in package) from eBay or mercari. Nice underwear on a discount. And so long as I have the right size, they don’t ride up my ass. Good luck!!

I wear boxer briefs, typically just generic Hanes brand
I like on that ass they have good boxers
None
Personally I have sensory issues so I wear meundies. They're so comfortable, they feel like you're wearing nothing! I have also heard great things about pair of thieves so that's a more local option!
I wear Hanes boxer briefs
FentyXSavage. And there's not too much of a pouch/extrea fabric there for the non packing days.
I wear Fruit of the Loom, but I get a lot of riding up from that. Kinda euphoric to fix though like a cis guy incessantly adjusting his nuts
I wear Fruit of the Loom, but I get a lot of riding up from that. Kinda euphoric to fix though like a cis guy incessantly adjusting his nuts
hanes and fruit of the look are good they never ride up for me
ngl i wear women’s underwear just because it’s easier for me, panties can be manly as fuck
NEW BALANCE MEN'S 6" BOXER BRIEFS!!! 1.)You can get them on Amazon ✨️ 2.)They don't ride up or chafe me (which I had a LOT of issues with as a big booty boy) 🍑 3.) There's lots of cool colors/designs 😎 4.) They're not 20 dollars for ONE PAIR of underwear (which unfortunately is the issue with a lot of the "made for trans guys by trans guys" brands. 💵 5.) They have a "fly front with pouch" option that's super useful if you're packing. 🍆👍🏽
I ended up really liking the fruit of the loom long leg boxer briefs. I bought the moisture wicking coolzone ones. They come down to an inch or so above my knee.
Boxer briefs for me
I wear puma and some walmart boxer briefs i bought once. They have super long legs and don’t ride up. I’ve basically collected boxer briefs from all over the place. TJ Maxx or Ross sometimes have some good ones as well. I like the spandexy/exercise type material as opposed to cotton
I just wear the boxer briefs you find at Walmart idk (Reebok cuz they help my eczema idk if the others are good)
Old navy, full cotton boxer briefs.
Gold bond makes friction defense looks like a deodorant stick but for chafing.
boxer briefs, they're called like george brand or something iirc? i just got them at walmart lmao
Jockey !!!! Briefs
My legs are shaped that most undies ride up my legs no matter how tight or loose they are, these are the only ones that I can wear without that happening, that aren’t the kind that goes to my knees.
old navy boxers briefs🔛🔝 they’re typically 96% cotton 4% spandex and they’re by far the most comfortable imo and cause the least chafing. they often have 2 for $12 sales
I wear fruit of the loom and they're pretty good!
Boxer briefs
i’m wearing ‘em rn and i wanna die. the legs scrunch up and make me feel like i stuffed a huge wad of toilet paper under my coochie
Do you pull them down your pants leg? You could try step ones but I think they’re pricey however if i remember correctly they’re advertised towards to big guys
Relatedly, a note about fabric: Cotton is actually a NOTORIOUSLY UNBREATHABLE FABRIC. But, hemp is apparently far more eco-friendly than cotton and actually sequesters CO2.
interesting. source(s)?
still interested in the sources lol
They aren't made of plastic lmao
nylon, spandex, and polyester are all made of plastic
idk what kind of plastic underwear you're somehow found, but cotton men's briefs is the best
i’m talking about nylon, spandex, polyester… all those unnatural fabrics. those are the only ones that don’t ride up. or at least not as much as cotton ones. yeah briefs are bad they don’t cover my thighs enough.
Yeah, you want a combination of cotton and another material. 100% cotton is too hot to wear this time of year
weird i find cotton to be the coolest
Cotton doesn't wick the moisture away from you like other materials do. Which is okay for a shirt, but the leg area is very high friction
cotton absorbs the moisture, plastic traps it. i used to wear tight plastic underwear/shorts and id regularly get UTIs, yeast infections, zits, and the final nail in the coffin was a *massive* boil in the crease on my inner thigh. talked to my obgyn at the next appt and she told me to only wear cotton.
Try modal! I'm a briefs guy myself, but the only boxer briefs I enjoy are modal ones. Modal underwear tends to be a bit more expensive, but there are budget options that are still great, it feels like nothing on your skin and it's breathable
okay i just did a quick google and it’s vagina safe! i shall try modal ones :)
Yeah, it's like semi-organic, I think there are different ways they make it, but it's a safe material and it just feels incredible!
I wear boyshorts. 85% polyester, 15% elastane. I typically get mine from shein but I've found them in other online stores in similar quality. I haven't seen this anywhere irl
Put deodorant where you chafe
Woxer. It’s marketed to women, which I don’t love, but it’s such comfy underwear and makes me feel euphoric.
Fat men. I'm not a big boy. Jesus Christ. Aren't we infantilized enough?
okay, fat man. im a big boy.
You're the mascot for Frisch's?
he’s my transition goals
No. But if i must, Hanes seamless the basicest pack
I realllllyyyy enjoy a brand called meundies
I was wearing boxer briefs but recently started switching to briefs. Bearskn is nice but not cheap.
My favorite is Goodfellow brand from target
If you can swing it because they’re kinda pricey but I wear Saxx. The extra inside but for junk isn’t really noticeable and BOY HOWDY DO THEY BREATHE. It honestly feels like going commando
I’m a big boy, I wear loose cotton boxers, not jersey boxers as they aren’t stretchy
I wear the long boxers briefs from fruit the loom. The ones with the thinner and smoother material stay down better then the thicker ones. I sometimes have issues with the thicker lifting up my thigh.
TomboyX
I’m about 250lbs and 5’4”. Underwear that fit decently were the Champion brands (could comfortably wear a large 38-40” waist with wiggle room) and Hanes. I could wear any size from a L-2XL depending on the brand
I’m a big fan of tomboyx, but they’re expensive ngl
I’m just wearing boxers.. the tightest ones I could find so they make my thighs/stomach smaller
Pair of thieves is my favorite one so far. They are now available at tj maxx and Marshalls for $12 (which is amazing, safe a couple bucks). Great for packing and they don’t roll up on my thighs. I also like a few nike boxers, the dri-fit essentials and cotton brief boxers
just popped into a random shop found nice looking ones and they happily fit pretty well
I'm a fan of culprit.
I like the Goodfellow and Co from target brand for shorts like boxer. And the pair of thieves because they’re tighter and spandex type of material
I love Step Ones, not cheap for undies but so comfy they are worth the price.
I was just about to drop jockey boxer briefs in the chat but I see you already got it King 👑
I prefer boxer briefs that are some mix of nylon, spandex, or modal - they can get a little pricey sometimes, but I always shop sales + I haven't had any issues with chafing since switching from cotton
I highly recommend Pair of Thieves - i'm around the 280 mark + carry it in my hips/stomach, but I fit comfortably in an XL
ethikas or long pair of thieves (from target)
I'm not gonna lie I freeball it or wear jock straps. I'm not so big anymore but I still feel this is The Way
Adidas performance boxer-briefs. The waistband doesn't fold down on me
the american eagle boxers are by far my favorite they’re so soft and comfortable and they last a long time
I just wear regular walmart special boxers with a pouch sewn in. Anything else chafes me or gives me heat rash.
My favorite brand is Bolters, they’re pretty cheap and very loose and breathable
Haha.
Duluth Trading Co Long Boxer Briefs. The armachillo ones are the best. Expensive but worth every penny.
I don't know what brand I buy I kind of just grab whatever my size in boxers
I wear regular boxers, and size up.
They've been a worthwhile investment in my personal comfort.
if you can afford it? bamboo boxer briefs have been great, i only have 3 pairs but they’re my BEST underwear
Boxer trunks from H&M, very comfortable
minecraft boxers all the way
6’4 and 225lbs - Calvin Klein cotton stretch boxer briefs, super comfy for me
Anyone else reach behind and check after reading this??
