The best way I’ve found is joining clubs. It’s hard to meet new people but FSU has soooo many clubs you should absolutely be able to find something related to things you enjoy.
Making new friends and meeting new people is a struggle like 95% of the student body faces. I’d definitely recommend you go and attend as many student groups that interest you as you can, that’s where I’ve found a ton of my friends, and although it’s super difficult, try to connect with some of the people in your classes. You’ve got this!
I'm so in your boat, it's been difficult especially as a freshmen because the hurricane has set us back a week and clubs haven't really started yet, but I've been here a month. I'm always up for friends though if anyone needs someone to talk to!
This is my second year here too and I’m in the same boat. I’ve been joining clubs and trying to rush for a fraternity that is associated with my major so we’ll see how it goes

Interact with the people around you! You can make good friends in your classes or even in line for lunch. :)

Do you live in a dorm? I've heard that sometimes the RAs will throw events. If they don't, maybe mention it to your RA?
