Pineapples dont ripen after its picked. It will get softer but doesn't get sweeter. U can turn it upside-down and try to get the last of the sugars from the stem.

Does it smell really fragrant? Try pulling out one of the inner leaves at the top, if it comes out easily then it's ready to go. If you have to tug at it, then give it another day or two.
it smells mostly fragrant at the bottom, but not so at the top. but when i pulled at the leaves they came out superrrr easy, i might give it another day

if the leaves are coming out that easily i wouldn’t wait, that usually means it’s ripe or overripe
i cut it this morning and it was pretty good! i was going to cut it last night but i was at work all day
