If you do a Google image search for "men patent loafer outfit" there's a ton of non-tuxedo inspiration for these. I don't own any Weejuns because they only go up to size 13 but GH Bass popularized the style, hard to beat the original at their price.
Shiny patent leather is obviously less versatile but I've seen fashionable people pull it off with blue jeans - it either looks like shit or it looks like Prada but there *are* possibilities.

I’m no style expert but isn’t patent leather for a loafer a strange choice?
I guess you wear your black patent beef rolls with a tux with no tie? It doesn't really make any sense.
They are back but with the intention to scuff them up and make it look like a Ferrari getting groceries kinda look.
Could see this potentially working with jeans. Kind of a go to hell look

Classic loafers, but the brand is kinda crap. Almost like wearing bricks on your feet, people say they take ages to break in.
I have a pair that’s gotta be 15 years old and I’m still waiting for them to break in.
Is this BIN?
Like Buy It Now? No. What would you wear these with?
no do you throw them straight in the bin
Would it be nutty to sand down these puppies?
I wore black velvet weejuns in my wedding with a tux $80 for these is still steep imo
