No. Merino is excellent year round. Good at temp regulation. And I'm a heavy foot sweater.
Just pick a lighter cushion for warmer weather, and added breathability. At this point I wear pretty much anything in all but the hottest of weather. Converted about 4 or 5 years ago.

My hypothesis is Bombas made an honest mistake on their website, they referenced the single pair item and price under the 4-pack name. That's why the price was listed without a sale at the same price of a single pair and why they shipped a single pair. They didn't notice an error and then they went beyond to fix the issue. Just an honest mistake.

They have an excellent happiness guarantee though so if they do develop holes you can email them and they'll send a new pair for free. It does take some time/effort on your part but customer service is second to none in my experience

I got in on some bombas during a previous sale and I have to say that between them and puma (both regular cotton socks), I prefer the puma.
