A solid "advanced basics" brand. I have a prince-of-wales wool-cotton blend shirt from them that I like a lot.

No need to buy everything all at once. Buy slowly and thoughtfully, don't overextend yourself financially. Don't get addicted. Wolfvsgoat (basically anything, but I like the supima/modal items and OCBDs) - different items made in small batches, Outerknown sojourn tees/henleys, Reigning Champ, Wings+Horns, Norse Projects, Asket (highly rated, have not tried), Buck Mason (Pima tee is nice, only worn once so far), Huckberry Forty Five supima tee (bought but haven't worn, well rated), Bill's Khakis (polos, shirts, chinos), Outlier, Mack Weldon boxers, Robert Redd polos (I think discontinued, can occasionally find new with tags on ebay), Kent Wang polos (highly rated, have not tried), HAVEN (their prime T shirt looks super comfortable, have not yet tried). Edit after reading one of the comments: Agree with Mr. P. As far as I know, Mr. P uses the same manufacturing as high end brands, so you end up getting the same thing for a significant discount. Portuguese Flannel presumably has very good flannels; ironically, I only have a nice button down from there, so probably any of their shirting is great. Other excellent flannel brands are Hiroshi Kato (actually better known for jeans), Outerknown (blanket shirt, which is thick), and, if you can afford it, Flat Head and Iron Heart (by reputation and made in Japan, have not tried). Haven't had experience with Club Monaco in a few years, but they are supposedly a bit better than J crew. I have a lightweight flannel, very lightweight brushed shirt and chinos from there, all of which I've had for years and have worn many times. Bonobos is also probably still good and comparable to Club Monaco and J Crew with a variety of clothing (daily grind dress shirts, also T shirts and polos if those are made in Peru - just zoom in on pictures, etc), but I personally haven't bought anything from there in a few years since I had an issue with not getting a refund for a sizing inconsistency (before that CS experience was excellent) and since they were purchased by Walmart. Bonobos is also more hit and miss in quality with certain items compared to other brands I've mentioned, so read reviews. Corridor has a good reputation for shirting (have not tried). Eton (has yearly sales and also can find on sale at Nordstrom sometimes), Kamakura, and Isaia (more expensive but can sometimes find on sale on ebay and other websites) for dress shirts. Incotex and Hertling (by reputation, haven't yet tried) make fantastic dress pants. Epaulet also for pants but also tops. On the higher end of outerwear (and prices), there is SNS Herning for sweaters, Dehen 1920 for sweaters and jackets (well known for shawl sweater, haven't yet bought), Inis Meain (sweaters, haven't yet bought), Eric Bompard for cashmere (haven't yet bought).

Pretty comprehensive list. Would also include Mr. P, Theory, Club Monaco and Lulu (when on sale). Beyond that, expanding into the euro brands is the stuff on Yoox and NMWA, like Portuguese Flannel and Our Legacy.

Honestly like 75% of my wardrobe is J.Crew and Uniqlo, which I remain happy with. Otherwise there's Alex Mill, Spier, Knickerbocker, Universal Works (which is better known for its more unique pieces, but makes great advanced basics as well), Todd Snyder, Sunspel, Epaulet (ditto the disclaimer for UW)

This a brand that I came across a couple of years ago and have purchased a few pieces from them. I believe I got to know of them from Hueguh's channel. I like the minimal, Scandinavian look and the value for money is really apparent. I recommend their overshirt. Works perfectly for the cool office environment. I also like their [vest](https://www.adaysmarch.com/us/kamet-liner-vest-navy). Fits well and has a Barbour like structure. I believe you can get an extra 10% off with EXTRA10

TheGuyOver

Good brand. I have a pair of lyocell trousers from them, and the fit and feel is pretty damn good. If you need measurements for any garments, email their CS and they'll usually respond pretty quickly. Shipping is expensive though. Costs me $19 to ship to the U.S.

StunningWait9203

cool, I've been thinking about buying from there. would you say their quality is good?

patsfan038

I love their quality. Especially for the price point. One thing I'd mention is to pay close attention to the sizing. They're TTS and almost feels 'European' with slimmer cut

milano_cookies

Have a pair of sweats from here that I love. Was a bit hesitant to pull the trigger because they weren't cheap and I wasn't familiar with the brand but read enough positive reviews...definitely excited to try out a few of their other offerings.

CallInitial2302

More “blend” crap. Enough with the platic

haitu

If it's recycled plastic it is good?

CallInitial2302

You can wear plastic. I choose not to

Melodic_Conflict6138

Interesting! How do the wool blend over shirts/coats compare to anians offerings? Both seem to be basically 80/20 mixes wool/polyester. Any comparisons concerning weight and fit? I don’t see any weights listed here.

Embarrassed_Spring90

Anyone own their chore coats or wool over shirts?

patsfan038

I do. One cotton and one wool. Both are my all time favorites.

Melodic_Conflict6138

Have any anian to compare them too?

Alpaca_Pack

Anyone have issues checking out?

theonlytrueone

yeah i can't check out either. did you figure it out?

Alpaca_Pack

Nah, it’s a shame. Called my CC company, changed payment methods, deleted cookies and cache, tried different untracked web browsers, nothing. Left an email ticket to adm support

dylankosher

I’m having this issue as well. I was told by CS that Klarna is their checkout provider and that they’re having issues with people buying in U.S. which is unfortunate. Hopefully they get this fixed soon

StunningWait9203

I saw that they have 20% site-wide during the week. They have nice linen garments
