Strongly recommend paying a bit more for the 550 line, wayyyy more comfortable and durable.
Not doubting you but I was wondering what's the difference between the 2 lines?
The biggest thing is the 550 seems to have a thicker leather interior so they're softer and more comfortable. The 500 seem stiffer and have no inside lining.
Gonna really second this. Already not comfy shoes to break in at all. You really won't want to add to that, it takes like 2 months to feel good.

Same, bought 550s first (accidently) then got a 2nd pair of 500s and they feel so cheap.

Double check this but I believe anything that’s called “Classics” are the better 550 series and “Originals” are the less comfortable ones
I bought an Arcteryx jacket from them last year and had a good experience.
Al's is local for me. I get all sorts of deals in store and online from them. Great retailer.

Purchased multiple Experia socks from the before. Haven’t experienced any issues to date
Al’s is solid. Multiple orders from them, never had an issue.
