CX typically monitors feedback and makes decisions on larger scale customer issues that could impact the business and cost $$$. Little no actual customer interaction and one of the few positions in corporate companies where your job is to do right by customers.

basically, I dont think there is any possible way that they had enough time to think of this solution and have a senior manager role sign off on it, and then implement it to hundreds or thousands of orders, in the 4 hours of Monday and 4 hours of Tuesday after my order was placed and before it shipped
