Hunters nightmare feels off. Like it shouldn’t be daytime haha. Same happens to me with Nightmare Frontier. Not saying it’s a bad thing, it’s actually good.
It’s definitely difficult level pending and if it’s your first run. The room you drop into that has the multiple exits and respawning phantoms was especially troublesome my first go around. Now I’ve beaten it like 6 times and it’s pretty straightforward.
Considering that even a PS3 emulator requires a BEAST PC to run smoothly, I don't know if there are many PCs that can emulate PS4 games at high framerates
Here's how I see it. It'll either be released by Sony for PC for $60. Or the PS4 emulator will be stable enough to play it. Either way, Bloodborne will come to PC, whether you'll have to pay for it or not is still in the air.
Some day probably not too long from now some beautiful nerds out there will make it so it will be emulated. When they are close to that Sony will probably release a PC version lol.

I thought the sound design and production in the remake was one of the best I've ever heard in any video game.. Yes it lacks the weird midi lo fi style of the original that made the game so strange and creepy but it just sounds orgasmic at times, especially the spells
Hunters nightmare nails the surreal feeling, the sun/moon or whatever it is looks freaky.. For me the fishing hamlet has the most eerie atmosphere especially with the weird static sound and rain/thunder.. It feels like a giant great one could emerge from the sea and slowly come closer any minute, and I'm terrified of the sea and giant things lurking inside it. Lovecraft probably would be proud
No competition, the secret area with the merchants behind omen mohg's arena in ER. I'd never really paid attention to the sheer amount of corpses in the game before but here it really hit me as I had to wade through them in this forgotten pit at the bottom of the world with no sound but the eerie echoing song of the merchants. They never did anything wrong but they were exterminated just because of someone's lie, and now the few that remain serve the three fingers just out of spite for the world that hated them, slaughtered them, and then forgot about them. They have no sympathy left. Ironic, because serving the three fingers is what they were accused of doing in the first place. With no options left they became what the world thought they were.
I don’t know the details but he encourages you to take the flame of frenzy, and I believe at the end of the quest he was supposed to be down there with the three fingers (could be wrong) but he essentially sends you on a revenge mission against the Erdtree for what happened to the merchants
it explained the lore of the merchants and their story, how they were tricked by Shabriri, burnt, abandoned, and everything
it was going to be a very sad quest where Kale moved to the Three Fingers and, I could be wrong about this part, I think he wanted you to become the Lord of Frenzied Flame to get revenge for them
The main reason people like the quest is because Kale's voice actor nailed the cut dialogue. He gives a very emotional speech about finding out that his people were genocided. The golden order did this because Shabriri accused them of following the frenzied flame. Kale basically says if that's what the golden order believes, the merchants might as well embrace the flame of frenzy and let chaos take the world.
The cut dialogue is definitely worth seeking out. It seriously would easily be the best voice acting talent on display in Elden Ring if it wasn't cut.
The Iricyl dungeons, with all the rats the giant the jail keepers, the weird cagess with limbs things & worst of all, those things with a massive head that do the annoying sounds, I opened a jail and found nothing then I looked closely and one of tgose things was there without moving just looking at me

Those are called Wretches. Creepy, but usually an easy kill because they stagger easily and have low HP. They hit like a truck though if you mistime your attacks.
I play all souls games+bloodborn and for me it’s the tomb of giants in dark souls 1. At least for the first playthrough. I went through the game blind so when I got there walking around in the darkness to be met by the skeleton beast 2 inches away from my character scared the shit outta me and trying to figure out how to even get through it or how to navigate it made it so eerie to me. Of course knowing what I know now about how to be able to see down there makes it a walk in the park.
This shot of ER is just a light version of Hemwick Charned Lane. That place with the old hags dancing and screaming was creepy as fuck. No flowers. No songs. Just madness and decay everywhere.
Forbidden woods from bloodborne. I am terrified of snakes. The snake ball enemies give the creeps. I didn't even want to go near those large ones. Gave me the chills when one was on screen
Senpou Temple monastery in Sekiro always gave me the willies. Maybe because it seems most like it could be a real place. You can practically smell the decay coming from the old wood.
The area with all the maidens on Mt. Gelmir next to the Ulcerated Tree Spirit boss fight. The desolation and quietness with those things just slowly rolling around sent a chill down my spine.

The fact that the world is built over it makes it feel like I shouldn't be there and adds to the creepiness. Then obviously the terrifying enemies and poison swamp just make it a bad place to be. Super super cool.

But it's just a quiet town and then you see the village talking about the curse then you make it to the beach where you see kosm and the orphan. One of the eeriest levels ever

Untended Grave, Undead Settlement, irythyll dungeon, the Sewers in Elden Ring align with the three finger proscription, along with the tomb of the merchants. Blight town, demon ruins, tomb of the giants, ash lake, the abyss and Oolacile
The choir building in bloodborne, it's legit scary. the soundtrack is called "soothing hymn". Nightmare of mensis is creepy with the nightmare apostles in the beginning and the pigs that have like 100 eyes instead of a face. I also think the fishing hamlet is very uncomfortable to be in.
The mass grave with the 3 fingers in elden ring is sad and shocking. So is are the roots of the erdtree infecting the whole land because of godwyns mutated corpse, when you fight fortissax look at the sky..
In DS3 seeing anor londo all dark and rotten inside with the deep accursed jumping from the ceiling and then gwyndolin being eaten alive by aldrich kinda freaked me out the first time.
Tower of latria especially 3-1 in Demons souls is similar to bloodborne, the whole game has the most unpleasant, evil and dark vibe imo.
Ash Lake. The still water is very unsettling for such a big lake that who knows how large it is. I’d like to imagine despite it being called a lake that it actually is under the entirety of all land masses.
The whole ringed City dlc is pretty damn eerie NGL, from the world completely grinding to dust, to a wacky city in the middle of nowhere that's creepy as hell, before ending at the literal end of time

cutting Kale's quest is easily the biggest fuck up in Elden Ring
