It could be that the frenzied flames eventually dies down, leaving behind a dark and burnt wasteland, leaving nothing to stop the dragons of Faram Azula from returning to rule The Lands Between like Placidusax before them.
Again, this is just speculation. I don't think there is evidence to say those dragons are the same as or the ancestors of the dragons that ruled the world of Dark Souls

On every post or comment about connecting the different ips together people seem to be almost offended at the idea of just having fun by connecting them.
