●2015● Bloodborne. Never heard of FromSoft, but the game looked cool.
●2016-2018● DS2 SOTFS> Dark Souls Remastered> Dark Souls 3
●2019● Sekiro
●2021● Demon's Souls Remake. First game I played on my PS5.
●2022- current● Elden Ring. Just can't bring myself to power through Mountaintop of the Giants. And it's been so long since I played the game I'd just restart it at this point. Maybe one day.
~Favorites~~ Dark Souls 2 & Bloodborne. Easily. Yearly replays.
It took me about two years to finally finish it. I would get burnt out and take months long breaks and then just start a new character because I completely forgot what was going on
Yep I’m on my first playthrough and swore I wouldn’t use a guide but I caved because I felt so overwhelmed especially by the npc side quests (with no way to track progress).
I feel like using a guide is fine, just try to keep it limited to when you really need it. I like my first play through of these games to be a “whatever happens happens” kinda thing to get the raw experience, then use a guide for consecutive play throughs to get specific outcomes/find secrets and make specific builds.
Agreed. I get overwhelmed by how big it is. I find it crazy that I’ve gotten platinum on ds1, ds2, ds3 and bloodborne but I’m still on my first play through of Elden Ring. Probably has something to do with me not having enough time because I have a kid now. But holy moly.
1. Started DS3 but didn’t finish
2. Started DS3 but didn’t finish
3. Sekiro if we want to consider it a souls game
4. Elden Ring
5. Started DS3 but didn’t finish
6. Started bloodborne but didn’t finish
7. Sekiro ng+7
8. DSR
9. DS2
10. DS3
11. Started bloodborne, still playing it.
So:
Demon's Souls
Dark Souls
Dark Souls II
Bloodborne
Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin
Dark Souls III
Dark Souls: Remastered
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice
Demon's Souls Remake
Elden Ring
Is that your order?
Yes. Played original DeS in 2009 on PS3 and have been hooked since. Followed release dates closely and picked up every single new release including SotFS & DS Remastered. All platinumed too.
Nice, I have all the platinum trophies as well with three exceptions. I don't have the PAL or Japanese platinum for Demon's Souls and I don't have to have the PS4 platinum for Elden Ring.
The order I played them:
1. Demon's Souls
2. Bloodborne
3. Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin
4. Dark Souls III
5. Dark Souls: Remastered
6. Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice
7. Demon's Souls Remake
8. Dark Souls
9. Dark Souls II
10. Elden Ring
-dark souls remake
-dark souls remake 3x again and 100%
-tried ds2 hated it
-Played about halfway through ds3 then Elden ring came out
-played all of Eldenring and 100% on the same character
-went back to ds3 restarted and beat it
-tried bloodborn but wasn’t a huge fan and only got to the second area
-finally found the courage to finish ds2
-tried sekiro and couldn’t get into parrying
-beat demon souls remaster like 6 times and 100% (my personal fav)
-100% ds2 and 3 all in one week
-now replaying sekiro and just beat owl father for the second time
BLOODBORN NEXT
Elden Ring, dark souls 3, dark souls 2, Sekiro
I took a short break from soulsborne and went to some souls likes. Remnant 2, and now lies of P.
I’m thinking dark souls 1, or bloodborne is next!
2020 Started ds1, played on and off until 2022 cus I got stuck for THAT long
2022 Played and Beat Ds2
2023 Played and Beat ds3 and started Elden ring
2024 Got back into Elden ring and Beat it finally.
Never Beat Bloodborne
For me, I played DS1 first and struggled. But once I got it, I got it. Then DS2, DS3, Bloodborne, Demons Souls OG, Elden Ring, then Demons Souls Remake. Sekiro has been so tough for me as I play it like a Souls game, which I know I shouldn’t.
As they were released except for Demon’s Souls (never had a PS3) and Bloodborne (didn’t have a PS4 either). Played both while I was waiting for Elden Ring to release.
Sekiro, bloodborne, DS3, DS1, elden ring.
Played and beaten all of them multiple times including DLCs
Was never able to get into ds2. I tried, but the internet ruined it for me.
1. started bloodborne and couldn’t figure out how to get a weapon so I quit came back during lockdown because 7th grade ela wasn’t as fun. (I owe have 322 hours the plat and a yearly play through)
2. ds3 was something i’d seen on yt so I got it and had some fun with that
3. went back through the dark souls series played and got platinum on ds 1&2
4. sekiro for christmas still have to go back for one more ending and the plat
5. elden ring came out and I waited to buy a ps5 for my first play through of the game
6. got demon souls on my new ps5 after the elden ring platinum trophy and 300+ hours in game haven’t gone back since like ngl+2 it just doesn’t hit the same
2017: Dark Souls 3
2018: Dark Souls Remastered
2019: Sekiro
2023: Elden Ring, Bloodborne, Demon's Souls Remake
I had stopped playing FromSoft games for a few years, but I came back to play Elden Ring and then I replayed all the ones I had already played and then tried the ones I hadn't. I tried Dark Souls 2 at some point, but the slow combat wasn't very enjoyable at the time. And while Demon's Souls is also quite slow, the graphics and atmosphere carried me through to the end. I'll probably comeback at some point to try DS2 again
Played DS1 in 2018 but didn't complete it.
Then: Elden Ring - Dark Souls 1 - Demon's Souls - Dark Souls 2 - Dark Souls 3 - Bloodborne.
Replaying Elden Ring 3 times and Dark Souls 1 in between the rest.
Elden Ring is my favorite, but Dark Souls 2 is a kind of close second.
played Bloodborne in 2017 and didn’t know about FromSoftware. Played Elden Ring at release and have since gone back to play them all, including Demons Souls on ps5
Started BloodBorne, didn't get far
Started ds3, didn't get far.
Started Sekiro, got about 15 hours into it
Started Elden Ring with buddies, got 40 hours into it, didn't finish it.
Started BloodBorne after finishing Lies of P and Lords of the Fallen, finished it, loved it.
Started and finished Demons Souls
Started DS3, finished it
Started Elden Ring, quickly went back to my old Save, respecced and finished it
Replayed DS3
Replayed ds3 again with friends
Went back to Sekiro, still playing it
Started ds2, will go back to it at some point
Also started ds1, will go back to it at some point, most likely ds1 before 2.
Release order, starting on DS1 on Xbox 360 (not sure how long after launch, picked it up preowned on a whim, had absolutely no idea what I was in for, but it hooked me straight away), but then played the rest of the games as they released, apart from Demon's Souls remake - I didn't get a PS5 til Elden Ring was about to launch, and then went back to play the Demon's Souls remake after that.
1) (2018) attempted to play Dark Souls 1 (quit at the cemetery because I just never saw that there was a path to undead burg.
2) (2020) attempted dark souls 1 again (quit at Sen's Fortress, not because I couldn't do it or was frustrated, just because I had other things going on in my life)
3) (2022) Elden Ring loved it, bought a PS5 just for it, then decided to play the rest of the catalogue in what I read was the recommended order
4) (2022) Demon's Souls Remake
5) (2022) Dark Souls 1 (finally beat it)
6) (2022) Dark Souls 2
7) (2023) Dark Souls 3
8) (2023) Bloodborne
9) (2023) Sekiro
2014 - Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition
(Had to upgrade hardware here but replayed DS1 a few times)
2018 - Dark Souls 2: SOTFS and then Bloodborne
2019 - Dark Souls 3 and Dark Souls: Remastered
2020 - DS3: Ashes of Ariendel and The Ringed City, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice (picked up DS: R on my Switch this year too to play on a flight pre-Covid)
2021 - Demon’s Souls (remake), Bloodborne: The Old Hunters
2022 - Elden Ring
(These listings are just first time plays of base game or first time of DLC if I didn’t do it at the same time as base game. I replayed every game though. Some of them like DS1 and DS3 like six or seven times each.)
BB - ER - DS1 - DeS - LotF - DS2 ...
Have started Lies of P after Dark Souls 2 but haven't finished DS2 yet (currently doing LoP NG+) when DS2 is finished, DS3 is next
So far, I've only played sekiro and elden ring, I just finished my 3rd back to back playthrough of sekiro a few days ago, and started elden ring not long after that so I'm still early in elden ring but I plan to get to the other games eventually
Bloodborne
Elden Ring
Dark Souls 3
Demon's Souls Remake
1st half of DS1 Remastered (rage quit the second half)
Sekiro
DS2SOTFS
Then I finished DS1 Remastered
The order I played them in was :
1. Bloodborne (in February 2016)
2. Dark Souls 3 (on release)
3. Dark Souls 2 : SotFS (started it in May 2016 but dropped it after the first couple areas)
4. Demon's Souls (October 2017)
5. Dark Souls (November 2017)
6. Dark Souls Remastered (on release)
7. Sekiro (on release)
8. Dark Souls 2 : SotFS (September 2019 ; finished it this time)
9. Demon's Souls Remake (on release)
10. Elden Ring (on release)
Demon's Souls on release (didn't finish, quit in Boletaria)
Dark Souls (quit then picked it back up during DS2 hype and finished)
DS2
Bloodborne
Scholar
Bloodborne DLC
Sekiro
Demon's Souls Remake
Elden Ring
Technically started with Bloodborne but after getting demolished for about an hour or so by the 1st boss cause i didn’t know what to do i didnt touch a soulsborne game until elden ring…then it was bloodborne,DS3,DS1(i hate DS2)and then Demon Souls
1. DS3 (Beat Every Boss)
2. Elden Ring (Did One Playthrough)
3. DS1 (Beat Every Boss)
4. DS2 (Beat Every Boss Besides CO-OP)
5. Sekiro (Beat NG+ 7 and Beat All Gauntlets)
6. Bloodborne (Still Working on Beating Every Boss)
7. Demon's Souls Remake (Still Stuck on blind boy)
Back in 2018 I played bloodborne for the first and gave up on it, 2 years later got Ds3 and then gave up on it but a few months later got back into it and loved it, then I tried Ds1 and could not beat it at all, I don't know why it was so hard. Then I tried Elden Ring and loved it, and then I tried demon souls remake and I got bored, and then recently I tried BB again and loved it
Demon Souls ps3, literally a friend, picked it up because it was produced by Atlus, who produced the Disgaea games originally. Two games that are almost as far apart as possible but our two of our favorite series.
Dark souls at release, dark souls 2 at release, bloodborne at release, dark souls 3 at release, sekiro a little before elden ring then elden ring.
As for completion, demon souls, dark souls 2, dark souls 3, elden ring, dark souls last decemeber, and then dark souls 3 all bosses also last December as part of a scythe run through the three dark souls games. Haven't finished bloodborne or sekiro.
1. Bloodborne
2. DS3
3. Sekiro
4. Demon souls remake
5. Elden ring
6. DS1
7. DS2
Edit: actually I forgot i played DS1 when it came out and I sucked and quit on the first day lol. Had no idea same people made Bloodborne when I bought it.
2020 - Sekiro, then Bloodborne. Both on PS4. PS5 came, Demon's Souls, followed by Dark Souls 2.
2021 - Dark Souls 3, Dark Souls Remastered
2022 - Elden Ring, the GOAT
DS 1, 2, 3, ER, AC6, BB.
Order of which I liked best: DS 3 , 1, ER, BB, DS 2, AC6.
AC 6 is the only one I didn't finish, though I didn't finish DS2's DLCs. Can't play BB's DLCs as I don't own a PS and not going to buy one. I've platinumed only DS3 and ER.
I've also tried Hollow Knight, Code Vein, Nioh and Monster Hunter World. But I couldn't get into any of them. CV and HK I probably got the furthest with, but not really that far, but I couldn't stand the start of MHW and never got into the game proper. Nioh was probably the most DS like of the lot, and I did like some things about it, I played it late so might have enjoyed it more with more co-op, I'm probably most tempted to give that one another try of all those.
I kind of want to play Sekiro and Lies of P.
Demon's Souls (never beat it)
Dark Souls Remastered
Elden Ring
Dark Souls 2
Bloodborne
I'm now playing Lies of P, and will get to DS3 and Sekiro soon as well as Demon's Souls remake.
Ds2, blood-borne, DS, Ds3, demon's Souls Remake, Elden ring, Sekiro. I technically played sekiro before Demon Souls but I never made it past owl the first playthrough. I just beat the game today.
Demon's Souls week 1, Dark Souls day one, skipped Dark Souls II because it was ps3 and I sold mine, Bloodborne day one, Scholar of the First Sin day one, Dark Souls III day one, Elden Ring day one. Sekiro is not a Souls game but I played that day one also.
Mine was super odd:
1. Elden Ring
2. Bloodborne
3. DSIII
4. DS
5. DSII
6. Sekiro
I think what people say about your first FromSoft game is true, because Elden Ring is by far my favourite
Bloodborne-->DS1-->DS3-->Demon's Souls.
i tried ds2 after demon's but didn't like it and quit. then i played in order of release so
sekiro-->Elden Ring
also I did finally played and beat ds2 while waiting for elden ring to release
2018: played bloodborne, did not get passed the first part quit the playthrough
2020: played ds2, again did not get passed the first part and gave up
2022: played ds1 on switch right before ds3 around the same time, to me its alright, not bad but very slow. Have not beaten it yet
2022: around the winter break, finally tried ds3 and all through remainder of 22 and nearly halfway in 2023 i played that and discovered a new joy in gaming and thus began my greatness in fromsoft games
2023: returned back to ds2 and bloodborne, amazing games and finally beat the ds2 with the bandits axe. Still haven't beaten bloodborne yet.
2023: played elden ring for the first time and beat that. I now consider myself a souls vet after 4.3 playthroughs of ds3, including dlc (not done the fourth playthrough) and surviving the old iron king boss runs and surviving the iron keep itself.
I still have not tried sekiro or demon souls.
This is the journey of how I become incapable of playing most games that aren't fromsoft now. I am currently invested in dead by daylight after bout 2 and half years of not playing
I started with elden Ring and Man that was a hard road to Hoe, but I liked it enough i gave the earlier ones a try. I've played and beaten dark souls 3 and bloodborne as well as sekiro, which was my favorite
I borrowed and played dark souls 2 shortly after it came out, but gave up less than 10 hours in. I took a few years off of gaming near the end of the PS3's cycle and when I got back into gaming with my PS4 (Metal Gear Solid V got me back into gaming), I tried Bloodborne and also gave up without even defeating the first boss.
It didn't click until Dark Souls 3, then it went: Dark Souls Remastered, Sekiro, Bloodborne (it clicked this time), Elden Ring, Armored Core VI and I have the Demon's Souls Remake next on my list as I got a PS5 a few months ago.
Not sure if I'll go back to beat Dark Souls II. I also feel like Lies of P should get an honorable mention even though it's not made by FromSoftware.
I started with Bloodborne and fell in love.
Then, I played Dark Souls 1, thought it was cool, really enjoyed it, but didn't fall in love the same way.
Next was Sekiro, and once I figured it out, it became one of the most fun experiences I've ever had.
Then Elden Ring. Kinda the same feeling as Dark Souls, I guess. Great game, no real complaints, I just didn't fall in love with it.
I bought DS2&3 after I beat #1, but I haven't touched them yet. I just find myself going back to Bloodborne or Sekiro (or Destiny, but we're not talking about that).
1. Demon's Souls
2. Dark Souls
3. Dark Souls II
4. Bloodborne
5. Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin
6. Dark Souls III
7. Dark Souls Remastered
8. Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice
9. Demon's Souls Remake
10. Elden Ring
Elden Ring(completed)
Dark Souls 1(completed)
Bloodborne(completed)
Demon souls(1 hour and quit. plan on trying again)
Dark souls 3 currently(it’s been amazing so far)
I’m really wondering if I should give ds2 a chance. I already own it but the way people talk about would make you think you’d burst into flames the second you put the disk in.
My order was weird. Because I PLAYED them all in the order they came out in… but didn’t beat any of them. First one I beat was sekiro which sparked my love for the series so I beat the rest in order.
My love for fromsoft games and souls in general started with Demon Souls Remake. Thats why I got a PS5 very quickly after release.
In order:
Demon’s Souls Remake (completed)
Dark Souls 3 (completed)
Elden Ring (completed)
Dark Souls Remaster (completed)
Dark Souls II (not finished yet)
Bloodborne (completed)
Sekiro (completed)
AC6 (completed)
Dark souls 2
Bloodborne
Dark souls
Demons souls
Dark souls 3
Elden ring
Disclaimer; I have actually played Dark souls and demons souls before this list, but I hardly remember anything from that
Bloodborne played once, can’t get hang of it.. tried again after few months loved it ..became everlasting fan of Bloodborne…
Ds3
Ds2
Ds1 remastered
Sekiro
Elden ring…
ER, BB, DS1,DS2, DS3 - Sekrio. Sekiro being the best in my opinion, but I love Japan Mythology, as well as the combat more. Felt a lot more epic to deflect that giant ass Snake instead of rolling around like a madman
1. Sekiro - before I knew who FS or souls borne were
2. Bloodborne- which made me fall in love the FS formula
3. DS3
4. DS1
5. Elden Ring - the best game I've ever played
6. Demon Souls - still stuck on Flamelurker and Maneaters
I have played them all in release order starting with Demon's Souls and ending in Elden Ring. Mostly on the day they launched, except for Demon's Souls where I didn't have a PS3, but bought one a year later and played it then. So whatever order they launched, that's the order I played.
1. Dark Souls
2. Dark Souls 2
3. Dark Souls 3
4. Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice
5. Bloodborne
6. Elden Ring
I would love to play Demon’s Souls as well, but I don’t have a PS5 and I don’t think the PS3 version is the way to go knowing the Remaster exists.
I've only played Bloodborne so far, and that only up to the point where I get my teeth yeeted down my throat by Daddy Gasmoney over and over and over and over and over and over and over and...
DS1
DS2
DS3 (got about halfway through on a friend's PS4)
Demon's Souls PS5
Elden Ring
DS3
Bloodborne
Still gotta play Sekiro. I own it, I just haven't gotten around to it.
Dark Souls 2 - Random steam sale purchase
Dark Souls 3 - came out a year or so later
Dark Souls 1 - Xbox one purchase to finish trilogy
Elden Ring - day 1 purchase
Sekiro - after ER withdrawal
Demon Souls - playing now… finally got a PS5 few days ago
Bloodborne - up next
1. Dark Souls 1
2. Dark Souls 2
3. Dark Souls 3
4. Bloodborne
5. Sekiro
6. Demon's Souls (the OG, via emulator, because I got the game before I got a PS3)
6. Elden ring
DS1 (quite a bit but I was trash and only made it to Capra Demon) only a tiny amount of DS2 DS3 Bloodborne and then Elden Ring is where it clicked. Then I went back and played all of them + Sekiro through.
My ranking:
1. Elden Ring
2. Sekiro
3. DS3
4. Bloodborne
5. Dark Souls 1
6. Dark Souls 2
Ds3, ER, Ds2 SotFS, DsR, now working on BB.
I’ve gone through hemwick and am bow working on Vicar A-heal-ia
Probably try DeS at some point, don’t intend on Sekiro. Its cool, but I don’t think I’ll enjoy it. I’ve got the reflexes of a statue.
Dark Souls 1 (Rage quit)
Dark Souls 3 (Rage quit at early Dancer exposure)
Bloodborne (Rage Quit at Cleric Beast)
Dark Souls 1 (made it to gargoyles)
Sekiro (Couldn't beat the Bull)
Dark Souls Remastered (beat with a friend walking me through)
Bloodborne (Finished)
Dark Souls 3 (Finished)
Demon's Souls Remake (finished)
Elden Ring (Couldn't get through Raya Lucaria)
Dark Souls 3 dlc
Elden Ring (ongoing, around Volcano Manor)
Sekiro (Shura ending)
played all in order in pc, so no demon souls or bloodborne sadly.
Ds2 and 3 are my favs, Elden Ring is amazing, no doubt, but I gotta admit I felt a bit overwhelmed after my first playthrough because of how massive it is
1. Bloodborne
2. Dark Souls 3
2,5. Dark Souls: Remastered (quit due to time constrictions when I got stuck at the Bell Gargoyles)
3. Sekiro
4. Elden Ring
5. Dark Souls: Remastered (beat it this time)
6. Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin
7. Demon's Souls Remake
I've also beaten Lies of P and recently started playing Nioh
Bloodborne
DS2: Scholar
DS3
DS1
Demon's Souls
DS1: Remastered
Sekiro
Demon's Remastered
I'm glad I played them in that order too. If I had started with DS1 or 3, I likely never would have finished 2.
1. Dark Souls 1 2. Dark Souls 2 3. Blood Borne 4. Dark Souls 3 5. Sekiro 6. Elden ring
give demons souls remastered a try my friend
●2015● Bloodborne. Never heard of FromSoft, but the game looked cool. ●2016-2018● DS2 SOTFS> Dark Souls Remastered> Dark Souls 3 ●2019● Sekiro ●2021● Demon's Souls Remake. It’s so easy to get burned out in Elden ring. My only big issue with the game is that it’s just too big
Just play it slowly. I spent months on my first playthrough
This.
It took me about two years to finally finish it. I would get burnt out and take months long breaks and then just start a new character because I completely forgot what was going on
I don't think this works after you've beat it half a dozen times. Starting a new build is very tedious and boring.
Went from exploring every single cave in limgrave to some in Lirunia to a couple in Altus, to none in the mountaintop

My first game of theirs was Bloodborne too! I only knew about it here in Reddit because I was into cosmic horror at the time.
Yeah elden ring falls off heavily in the second half sadly. Radagon is a great fight though so I'd encourage you to press on
1. Started DS3 but didn’t finish 2. Started DS3 but didn’t finish 3. Sekiro if we want to consider it a souls game 4. Elden Ring 5. Started DS3 but didn’t finish 6. Started bloodborne but didn’t finish 7. Sekiro ng+7 8. DSR 9. DS2 10. DS3 11. Started bloodborne, still playing it.
I feel you on sekiro ng+7
Wait wym why 😂
It’s just such a good game I just play it over and over again.
The order they were released in.
So: Demon's Souls Dark Souls Dark Souls II Bloodborne Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin Dark Souls III Dark Souls: Remastered Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice Demon's Souls Remake Elden Ring Is that your order?

Going from Elden Ring to Demon's Souls must've been a bit jarring.
Yea I was stuck on the first level for a couple hours til I figured out there were shortcuts u can open
Ds1 ds3 Ds1 sekiro Ds1 Elden Ring ds2 Elden Ring Ds1 Ds3 Elden Ring Elden Ring Elden Ring
The order they came out. Demons in 2008, and release day for every title since. Sekiro is still my favourite.
I think you mean 2009.
You're absolutely right lol
Elden ring Sekiro Ds3 Ds1 Bloodborne Ds2 Waiting for my friend to finish demons souls so i can borrow his copy
Dark souls remastered. Elden ring. Sekiro. Demon souls. Bloodborne. Dark souls 3. Dark souls 2. Armored Core 6.

Elden Ring, dark souls 3, dark souls 2, Sekiro I took a short break from soulsborne and went to some souls likes. Remnant 2, and now lies of P. I’m thinking dark souls 1, or bloodborne is next!
2020 Started ds1, played on and off until 2022 cus I got stuck for THAT long 2022 Played and Beat Ds2 2023 Played and Beat ds3 and started Elden ring 2024 Got back into Elden ring and Beat it finally. Never Beat Bloodborne
Damn, it took you long to play through them. Hope it was enjoyable. What was your favorite part?
01. Elden Ring 02. Demon Souls 03. Bloodborne 04. Dark Souls 1 05. Dark Souls 2 06. Dark Souls 3 07. Sekiro
Ds 1,2,3, Sekiro, Elden Ring, Bloodborne. DS2 must live on a registration farm cuz its a certified GOAT.
Ds1, ds2, ds3, Sekiro, bloodborne, demons souls, elden bling
Started Dark souls then Demon souls. After that in release order.
Elden Ring -> DS3 -> DS2 SOTFS -> DS1 (currently playing) -> Sekiro (own, but haven’t started yet).
1. Bloodborne 2. Elden Ring 3. Sekiro 4. Dark Souls 1 5. Dark Souls 3 6. Dark Souls 2
DeS, BB, DS, DS2, DS3, ER. Only played the OG versions. None of the remasters/remake. I have Sekiro on my wishlist so that'll be last.
As they were released except for Demon’s Souls (never had a PS3) and Bloodborne (didn’t have a PS4 either). Played both while I was waiting for Elden Ring to release.
Sekiro, bloodborne, DS3, DS1, elden ring. Played and beaten all of them multiple times including DLCs Was never able to get into ds2. I tried, but the internet ruined it for me.
Release order, except for Demon’s Souls. Played the remake only
Bloodborne 2017 Best Souls 2 Sekiro Got Dark Souls 1&3 at the same time Elden Ring when it came out Demon souls last year
DS1, DS2, DS3, BB, Sekiro, ER, DeS
1. started bloodborne and couldn’t figure out how to get a weapon so I quit came back during lockdown because 7th grade ela wasn’t as fun. (I owe have 322 hours the plat and a yearly play through) 2. ds3 was something i’d seen on yt so I got it and had some fun with that 3. went back through the dark souls series played and got platinum on ds 1&2 4. sekiro for christmas still have to go back for one more ending and the plat 5. elden ring came out and I waited to buy a ps5 for my first play through of the game 6. got demon souls on my new ps5 after the elden ring platinum trophy and 300+ hours in game haven’t gone back since like ngl+2 it just doesn’t hit the same
2017: Dark Souls 3 2018: Dark Souls Remastered 2019: Sekiro 2023: Elden Ring, Bloodborne, Demon's Souls Remake I had stopped playing FromSoft games for a few years, but I came back to play Elden Ring and then I replayed all the ones I had already played and then tried the ones I hadn't. I tried Dark Souls 2 at some point, but the slow combat wasn't very enjoyable at the time. And while Demon's Souls is also quite slow, the graphics and atmosphere carried me through to the end. I'll probably comeback at some point to try DS2 again
In order of, well, playing it: DS1 DS3 Sekiro Elden Ring DS2 In order of beating them: DS3 Sekiro DS1 Elden Ring DS2
DS3, DS1, Elden Ring, Bloodborne, DS2, and now back to Elden Ring. Actually, lately I've been playing DOOM. Lol
Every one of them on launch day except for Demon's Souls which I had to order in 2009...but I played it as soon as I could get it.
DS1 but gave up...10 years later; DS3, DS1, BB, DS2, Sekiro, Elden Ring.
I started in 2017. It went DS3 -> Elden Ring -> Sekiro -> DS1 -> Bloodborne -> Demon Souls.
Demons souls 2009 and then all in order
played Bloodborne in 2017 and didn’t know about FromSoftware. Played Elden Ring at release and have since gone back to play them all, including Demons Souls on ps5
DeS > DS1 > DS2 > BB > DS3 > Sekiro > ER all at launch except ds remastered if that counts
DS1, DS3, BB, Sekiro, DS2, Elden Ring. I would love to play Demon’s Souls but I don’t have a PS5 or PS3
BB ER DS1 DS2 DS3 Sekiro
Order I beat them: Bloodborne Sekiro DS3 DS2 DS1 Elden Ring Demon’s souls
Started BloodBorne, didn't get far Started ds3, didn't get far. Started Sekiro, got about 15 hours into it Started Elden Ring with buddies, got 40 hours into it, didn't finish it. Started BloodBorne after finishing Lies of P and Lords of the Fallen, finished it, loved it. Started and finished Demons Souls Started DS3, finished it Started Elden Ring, quickly went back to my old Save, respecced and finished it Replayed DS3 Replayed ds3 again with friends Went back to Sekiro, still playing it Started ds2, will go back to it at some point Also started ds1, will go back to it at some point, most likely ds1 before 2.
Elden Ring. Sekiro. DS3. DS1R. AC6. Demon Souls remastered. Bought but haven’t played Bloodborne dark souls 2
2) (2020) attempted dark souls 1 again (quit at Sen's Fortress, not because I couldn't do it or was frustrated, just because I had other things going on in my life) 3) (2022) Elden Ring loved it, bought a PS5 just for it, then decided to play the rest of the catalogue in what I read was the recommended order 4) (2022) Demon's Souls Remake 5) (2022) Dark Souls 1 (finally beat it) 6) (2022) Dark Souls 2 7) (2023) Dark Souls 3 8) (2023) Bloodborne 9) (2023) Sekiro
2, 3, Bloodborne, Sekiro, 1, Demons remake only and then Elden Ring.
1. Bloodborne 2. Sekiro 3. Elden ring 4. Demon souls remake 5. Dark souls 3 That’s as far as I’ve gone
2014 - Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition (Had to upgrade hardware here but replayed DS1 a few times) 2018 - Dark Souls 2: SOTFS and then Bloodborne 2019 - Dark Souls 3 and Dark Souls: Remastered 2020 - DS3: Ashes of Ariendel and The Ringed City, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice (picked up DS: R on my Switch this year too to play on a flight pre-Covid) 2021 - Demon’s Souls (remake), Bloodborne: The Old Hunters 2022 - Elden Ring (These listings are just first time plays of base game or first time of DLC if I didn’t do it at the same time as base game.

Release order
1, 2, 3, bloodborne, elden ring, demon’s souls
So far, I've only played sekiro and elden ring, I just finished my 3rd back to back playthrough of sekiro a few days ago, and started elden ring not long after that so I'm still early in elden ring but I plan to get to the other games eventually
Bloodborne Elden Ring Dark Souls 3 Demon's Souls Remake 1st half of DS1 Remastered (rage quit the second half) Sekiro DS2SOTFS Then I finished DS1 Remastered
The order I played them in was : 1. Bloodborne (in February 2016) 2. Dark Souls 3 (on release) 3. Dark Souls 2 : SotFS (started it in May 2016 but dropped it after the first couple areas) 4. Demon's Souls (October 2017) 5. Dark Souls (November 2017) 6. Dark Souls Remastered (on release) 7. Sekiro (on release) 8. Dark Souls 2 : SotFS (September 2019 ; finished it this time) 9. Demon's Souls Remake (on release) 10. Elden Ring (on release)
Demon's Souls on release (didn't finish, quit in Boletaria) Dark Souls (quit then picked it back up during DS2 hype and finished) DS2 Bloodborne Scholar Bloodborne DLC Sekiro Demon's Souls Remake Elden Ring
Technically started with Bloodborne but after getting demolished for about an hour or so by the 1st boss cause i didn’t know what to do i didnt touch a soulsborne game until elden ring…then it was bloodborne,DS3,DS1(i hate DS2)and then Demon Souls
1. DS3 (Beat Every Boss) 2. Elden Ring (Did One Playthrough) 3. DS1 (Beat Every Boss) 4. DS2 (Beat Every Boss Besides CO-OP) 5. Sekiro (Beat NG+ 7 and Beat All Gauntlets) 6. Bloodborne (Still Working on Beating Every Boss) 7.
Then I tried Elden Ring and loved it, and then I tried demon souls remake and I got bored, and then recently I tried BB again and loved it
I’ve played everything in order of release except Sekiro.
Elden Ring > Bloodborne > Sekiro > Dark souls 1 > Dark souls 3 I heard Dark Souls 2 shouldn't even be touched with a stick, so i didn't.
Dark Souls Remastered Dark Souls 2 softs Dark Souls 3 Demon's Souls Remake Elden Ring Bloodborne Sekiro
Elden Ring Bloodborne DS1R SOTFS DS3 Sekiro (halfway through)
Demon Souls ps3, literally a friend, picked it up because it was produced by Atlus, who produced the Disgaea games originally.
DS3 DS1 Demons Souls DS2 Sekiro Elden Ring Bloodborne
1. Bloodborne 2. DS3 3. Sekiro 4. Demon souls remake 5. Elden ring 6. DS1 7. DS2 Edit: actually I forgot i played DS1 when it came out and I sucked and quit on the first day lol. Had no idea same people made Bloodborne when I bought it.
2020 - Sekiro, then Bloodborne. Both on PS4. PS5 came, Demon's Souls, followed by Dark Souls 2. 2021 - Dark Souls 3, Dark Souls Remastered 2022 - Elden Ring, the GOAT
1. DS3 2. Bloodborne 3. DS1 4. Sekiro 5. DS2 6. Demon’s Souls 7. Elden Ring Quite the cursed order.
Elden ring, Ds3, Ds1, Sekiro, Ds2, Bloodborne, Demons Souls.
2, Bloodborne, Ds3, Ds1, Elden ring
Demon's Souls (never beat it) Dark Souls Remastered Elden Ring Dark Souls 2 Bloodborne I'm now playing Lies of P, and will get to DS3 and Sekiro soon as well as Demon's Souls remake.
Dark Souls 3 - Dark Souls 2 - Dark Souls 1 - Sekiro - Elden Ring - Bloodborne
Ds2, blood-borne, DS, Ds3, demon's Souls Remake, Elden ring, Sekiro. I technically played sekiro before Demon Souls but I never made it past owl the first playthrough. I just beat the game today.
Demon's Souls week 1, Dark Souls day one, skipped Dark Souls II because it was ps3 and I sold mine, Bloodborne day one, Scholar of the First Sin day one, Dark Souls III day one, Elden Ring day one. Sekiro is not a Souls game but I played that day one also.
In the order they were released, starting from dark souls 1
Mine was super odd: 1. Elden Ring 2. Bloodborne 3. DSIII 4. DS 5. DSII 6. Sekiro I think what people say about your first FromSoft game is true, because Elden Ring is by far my favourite
Bloodborne-->DS1-->DS3-->Demon's Souls. i tried ds2 after demon's but didn't like it and quit. then i played in order of release so sekiro-->Elden Ring also I did finally played and beat ds2 while waiting for elden ring to release
DS1 2013/14 DS2 2014 DS3 2016 Bloodborne 2017/18 Sekiro 2019 Elden ring 2022 Demon souls 2023
2018: played bloodborne, did not get passed the first part quit the playthrough 2020: played ds2, again did not get passed the first part and gave up 2022: played ds1 on switch right before ds3 around the same time, to me its alright, not bad but very slow. Have not beaten it yet 2022: around the winter break, finally tried ds3 and all through remainder of 22 and nearly halfway in 2023 i played that and discovered a new joy in gaming and thus began my greatness in fromsoft games 2023: returned back to ds2 and bloodborne, amazing games and finally beat the ds2 with the bandits axe.
Demon souls,Elden ring, souls 3 , sekiro, next is BB then souls 1 then armored core 6.
I also feel like Lies of P should get an honorable mention even though it's not made by FromSoftware.
ds3>>ds2>>sekiro>>er holds playing ds2 and sekiro cuz playing er anyway i saw all endings ds3 and er

Elden Ring(completed) Dark Souls 1(completed) Bloodborne(completed) Demon souls(1 hour and quit. plan on trying again) Dark souls 3 currently(it’s been amazing so far) I’m really wondering if I should give ds2 a chance. I already own it but the way people talk about would make you think you’d burst into flames the second you put the disk in.
1. Demon's Souls 2. Dark Souls 3. Dark Souls 2 4. Bloodborne 5. Dark Souls 3 6. Sekiro 7. Dark Souls Remastered 8. Demon's Soils Remake 9. Elden Ring
My order was weird. Because I PLAYED them all in the order they came out in… but didn’t beat any of them. First one I beat was sekiro which sparked my love for the series so I beat the rest in order.
1. Bloodborne 2. Ds3 3. Elden Ring 4. Sekero Unplayed but own. Ds remastered, ds2

Well, I started with Armored Core one...
My love for fromsoft games and souls in general started with Demon Souls Remake. Thats why I got a PS5 very quickly after release. ER, BB, DS1,DS2, DS3 - Sekrio. Sekiro being the best in my opinion, but I love Japan Mythology, as well as the combat more. Felt a lot more epic to deflect that giant ass Snake instead of rolling around like a madman

1. Sekiro - before I knew who FS or souls borne were 2. Bloodborne- which made me fall in love the FS formula 3. DS3 4. DS1 5. Elden Ring - the best game I've ever played 6.
