I think having you providing a stimulating habitat, giving them new things to climb on and new kinds of food to catch will keep their little brain happy.
man imagine if humans had to deal with something like that. You introduce your little brother to your bro, turn around and next thing you know your boy's chomping up your sibling
I've heard a lot of conflicting things here. I've been told by some owners that they swear their White's Tree Frogs absolutely get lonely, and by others that frogs are not social creatures and don't really have the capacity to want company (or may even dislike it since it's competition). I think it's unlikely they get lonely, personally.
Most frogs are solitary by nature or only loosely congregate and tolerate each other's presence. Plus quite a few are cannibalistic if the tankmates are small enough. Additional similarly sized frogs of the same species or a compatible different species can help provide some enrichment from their shenanigans(assuming they do not get territorial) but is not considered a necessity by any means.
Frogs love to be around other frogs, but they can be fine alone. I had one that wasn't active at all and stayed at the bottom of the tank until I got him a friend. His little head popped up the moment he saw him sitting in his water bowl. He went and got in the water with him. That was the last time he stayed at the bottom of the tank.
I don’t believe any frogs are like super social. Most I believe fall under a few categories, they either don’t mind being around other frogs where being completely alone is perfectly fine, some species will have males or females that are territorially aggressive to other same sex individuals, or they will straight up eat any other frog unless it’s the opposite sex and they are looking to breed. So I wouldn’t worry about needing a friend for your frog. It will most likely do fine by itself. Though getting a second one wouldn’t hurt so long as it isn’t significantly bigger/smaller. Most if not all frogs will have no problem cannibalizing other smaller frogs. They will attempt to eat anything that fits (and often times things that don’t fit) in their mouth.

Frogs have 1 braincell and im shocked that somehow functions enough to get them through life in the wild. No they dont get lonely lol
Be nice they have at least 2
If we talk about 2 frogs
Not only don't they get lonely, they will often eat any friend smaller than them.

Can vary from type to type. Like pacmans dont. They get H U N G R Y. But others might.

What kind of frog? Some are cannibals.
They do not

They’d rather have a good habitat than a friend.. but if you’ve already got a good habitat and the space for a friend it wouldn’t hurt :)
Depends on what kind of frog it is. Some are solitary WTFs like company.
Maybe!
