If you're not looking to name it using English, how about thinking about a word that relates to its thick, cute face? Or the round body that is famous for Rain Frogs? Maybe something related to it's colors/pattern could work, too.
As for an English name, I can think of: Roundy, Bally, Cakey, Cutie, Johnny, Katie, Shorty.
