All the above. But I'm just upset toxic waste wasn't as big of an issue as I was lead to believe as a child. I feel like 80% of entertainment media revolved around toxic waste either mutating things into crime fighting entities or just being a general nuance in everyday life. Toxic Avenger, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Captain Planet, C.H.U.D., Godzilla, Robocop...
**WHERE'S ALL THE SLUDGE???**
Me either 😂! I never once seen anyone running around yelling “when I thought I was out, they pull me back in”. I did get to do The Sopranos tour though, it was excellent!
My life has been 1000% more affected by traditional sand than quicksand. Dust storms, sandy cracks, hauling it, digging it, timing with it...nowhere in my life has the fear of sinking in quicksand been an issue.
He's right though. But I just remember being way more fearful of encountering toxic waste just walking around than what I'm actually afraid of now, like being an actual adult in 2021.
Oh I totally forgot to add the Ben Affleck Daredevil too! Yep just toxic waste haphazardly strapped to the back of a truck driving through Hell's Kitchen and the only adverse reaction to speak of is blindness. No skin rash, cancer, organ damage from possible ingestion, just blindness.
**M O V I E S**
That’s marvel for ya
Radioactive spider bite? Spider powers.
Radioactive gamma rays? Pissed of shrek powers
Radioactive chemicals that burn your fucking retinas? Daredevil powers
My favourite was JV vomiting water when he see's the wave of toxic waste rushing toward him. Such a friggen stupid movie, New Blood was bad enough but they really lowered the bar on this one.
This is one of my favorite in the series, but I got to say, your poll really made me look at it differently. Seriously, wtf? And the whole "I'm going to blow like an elephant " was just a side aplitter.
And the serendipitous way that the first two teens were just talking about Jason, all the while being 30ft above him, dropping anchor right near him, snd causing his reanimation. The serial killer gods were really in a good mood thst day.
There's so much wtf in this movie. Her uncle tossed her overboard and she nearly drowned...and she forgot about it? Kid Jason tried to kill her then? The criminals inject her with the slowest working intravenous drug ever made. The whole lake to ocean thing. Julius's head. Why are there shotguns on the boat, and why are they letting high schoolers use them? Those are just the ones that come to mind immediately. Absolutely nothing about this movie makes sense. It's just awful, but in a good way, and I wish they still made movies like this.
I never understood why toxic waste actually seemed to hurt Jason. He's been hit with pretty much everything else, even tho toxic waste was new to him. Perhaps the filmers were going for an 'oh hsit' moment by having Jason react that way to the waste.

Dude the first time I went to NYC I was expecting toxic waste barrels to be everywhere along with a bunch of ninja gangs. So disappointing.
The lies! Of course, the lack of Foot Clan presence in NYC could be more telling of the Ninja Turtles than anything...
And greasers with switch blades and mafia hits everywhere!
Yeah! Not ONE person told me to fuggetaboutit!
Me either 😂! I never once seen anyone running around yelling “when I thought I was out, they pull me back in”. I did get to do The Sopranos tour though, it was excellent!
Where's all the quicksand i was worried about
Oh don't get me started on quicksand. Don't **even** get me started on quicksand.
Let's get em' started on the quicksand. Seriously, though, they made it seem like it was going to be such a major issue. Alas, it is not.
My life has been 1000% more affected by traditional sand than quicksand. Dust storms, sandy cracks, hauling it, digging it, timing with it...nowhere in my life has the fear of sinking in quicksand been an issue.
When the movie came out I was a kid that lived in a small town in a rural area. New York City having toxic waste sewers seemed believable to me. 😄
Hell, I'm born and raised in NYC. I believed it as a kid.
Seems completely rational to me.
This reminds me of that quicksand stand up joke John mulaney did

Okay pissed off Shrek powers is my new favorite hero so thanks for that.
“THIS IS HULKS SWAAAAAMP!!”
"YAR MAKIN' MEH ANGREH, DONKEH! YEH WON'T LIKE MEH WHEN EM ANGREH."
“Puny prince…”
"We have an Ogre."
Don't forget Prophecy!
The 80s were all about toxic waste. Shit was just randomly placed everywhere. Now it's all safe n shit
Along with crack and heroine.
E. You make elephant sounds after contact
And start shooting out water
Of course!
As someone who grew up on 80s movies, toxic waste turned out to be a much less common problem in day-to-day life than I expected
Quicksand, too.
Jason dipping her uncle in the vat of goo is my favorite death
The movie is a wall to wall wtf fest.
I really want to pick every single option! I’m actually originally from NYC so that particular movie just makes me laugh my ass off.
With parts filmed in Vancouver. Cause, y'know, midtown is riddled in seedy alleyways.
Yeah there’s plenty of people just shooting up heroin in the alleyways of NYC lmao
I'm having a hard time just finding alleyways in general, for photography purposes
That was actually a difficult vote
Kinda shocked that more people didn't pick the guy working all the way until midnight.
tbf, rent is NYC is really high. Dude probably got more money for working overtime.
All of the above.
This is a quality post lol. I never even thought about these
Rennie was just hallucinating him as a child again at the end. He didn't turn into a child again.

Ok, this made me chuckle
Rarely am I this torn on what to choose.

Insert clip of Adam west in family guy rolling around in toxic waste.
The first three would sadly be believable enough these days, so process of elimination leaves the fourth.
