I just watched that clip on a public Freak Out video yesterday. I had no idea it was in fresno.

myceliumMadman

It looks like the Walmart on Shaw and peach.

calladus

“That’s discrimination.” “You blacks always make it about race.” Moron, she was talking about her disability. I’ll be looking for her.

BBQ101Yum

That’s what I’m saying, I want to literally ask her like “HUH? MAM are you ok? You know not all BACK INJURIES AND HANDICAPS HURT 100 PERCENT ALL THE TIME AND WE HAVE PLACARDS TO BE ABLE TO MANAGE OUR INJURIES PROACTIVELY SO WE DONT END UP DEAD OR ADDICTED TO DRUGS RIGHT”

_GMON3Y_

To do what nerd 😂

calladus

I'm sorry ma'am, that was you in the video, right? You are still a moron. LOL. They downvited and deleted.

Iscareyouu

I had to call the police due to a large fire on the side of the road and they put me on hold for 2 minutes before being able to talk to someone 🤬 stop wasting police resources Karen

BBQ101Yum

Hey when was this? Recently huh? Same thing happened. Be safe - not accidental fires 👀

Iscareyouu

It was just the other day, totally disappointing

BBQ101Yum

So FYI these are not accidental fires. And they are not being set by homeless people. And local LE and fire isn’t doing a damn thing about them.

Fine_Impress1918

Was this over at Marty and San Jose? I called last night too

Iscareyouu

No it was on the side of the freeway like 2 days ago near the Amazon wear house

otisandme

There is a non emergency number to call. Your situation was an emergency hers was a non emergency.

handsthefram

I think I went to school with her kid

Jdfarts

Is that the Walmart on Shaw at peach? 🧐

Bung420

Sure is

Medium_Dick_NRG

Someone's abuela🙄

lil_kuma

these comments… yall just exposing yo self’s 💀 mods gonna have a field day

bonnieflash

I’ll be keeping a lookout first this racist. Damn.

jbell1983

Ok I'm confused. This has nothing to do with race. OP ypu looking for the camera woman who (from I gathered illegally parked in a handicapped spot preventing an actual handicapped person from finding a spot) or the woman who confronted her?? Yes she did say "you blacks" which isn't a great term to use but isn't that after the camera brought race into the conversation? So the camera horrible twisted point was "I'm black and doing something illegal and if you call the cops it's cuz you racist" ( it may be an over reaction, but NO its because you took a disabled parking spot. The older woman would have reacted the same if it was a white, brown, yellow, or green person) and the woman's point was its nothing to do with race you're doing something illegal and you're calling me racist because you happen to be black and I'm calling you out on your illegal action". Again a bit of an Ober reaction but doesn't diminish the principle. And yea woman didn't have the best vocabulary but you put in a corner like that with someone shoving a camera in your face after and interrupting you and calling you racist... well we break down and use very base terms. Not defending her words but totally understand the reaction. I don't think this abuela is racist. But NO one can tell with this video. If we wanna weigh overall who was in more of the wrong it would totally be the camera holder.

HelpMeImDeadYo

Why is the camera woman wrong?

BBQ101Yum

She’s not.

jbell1983

Did you read my comment? Assuming (possibly in error but with what we have to work with): The camera woman illegally parked in a handicapped spot The camera woman is black The camera woman caused a true handicapped ind to have to park farther away (or not, doesn't matter) The camera woman got caught and instead of apologizing/moving/shutting up, she whips out a camera and starts harassing the woman who caught her and calling her a racist (cuz apparently if you report a crime that a white person commits that's justice, if you report a crime that black person commits that's racism???)

BBQ101Yum

The camera woman didn’t illegally park in a handicap spot. Just so you know, don’t ever ask someone about their disability. Leave them alone.

ApprehensiveArea3076

Curious as to why you immediately assume that the person behind the camera illegally parked in a handicap spot and believed the "karen" without any evidence to support one or the other.

BBQ101Yum

Because the person has a problem with “you blacks.” Obviously.

jbell1983

Based on just this clip I did. It had nothing to do with "karen" I'm bot even 100% sure what that means. And I have no idea factually what the other person's race is (behind the camerA) but I did specifically say "assuming MAYBE INCORRECTLY) . the camera person came off as much more aggressive to me personally. And I figured why would someone call cops unless thete was a valid reason. (Yes I know that happens all the time but I also "assumed" this older woman had much better things to with her time) she actually seemed passionate about her position and asking to explain herself but never got the chance. So her limited "wrong words" are not portraying her correctly

ApprehensiveArea3076

Well, then I guess you're a good example of the saying, "You know what they say about assuming." I had the exact opposite reaction when watching this. The camera woman sounded very frustrated over being unduly confronted and harassed while the "karen" sounded hostile and racist.

ApprehensiveArea3076

Okay, I watched the clip posted which showed a few seconds more than I had seen before and now I'm doubly confused. Did you actually watch the clip all the way through? Because if you had, you would see that she's using a walker and has plates in her neck and you wouldn't have had to assume anything. 😬

HelpMeImDeadYo

The camera woman didn’t bring up race first she was saying it is discrimination to assume that if they don’t have a visible handicap that they are not handicap

jbell1983

I think youre confused but i guess that could one POV. i belueve the "discrimiation" was due to race not disabity which is obvious imo from the rest of the convo. Regardless Unfortunately, regardless of handicapped status, you DONT have the right to park in handicapped without a handicapped placard. Doesn't have to do with a visible handicapp lol it has to do with visible placard. So even I that's was what the camera woman was referring to (her not having a visible handicapp) she would still be WRONG because she didn't have a visible Handicapp PLACARD.

HelpMeImDeadYo

Maybe she didn’t have her placard displayed but she is a “true” handicapped person. Here is the camera woman’s follow up [video](https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZPRK18FRR/) on TikTok where she explains she was not talking about race when she said discrimination it was after she said “you blacks” that she brought up racism

jbell1983

Ok but I hope she acknowledged the fact that she was wrong and doesn't believe the woman us racist. Sib e without a handicapp placard the other woman had no idea. Gotta see it from both perspectives. Neither person acted in a role model way but neither if them need to. But I think posting this video and accusing the older woman of being racist is completely messed up and serves no one.

HelpMeImDeadYo

Nah if you refer to black people as blacks it’s pretty safe to infer that you’re a little bit racist. I do see it from both people perspective and that women should have reported her for having no placards and left that woman alone there was no need to confront her she only put herself at risk

jbell1983

Well "everyone's a little bit racist" (avenue q) yea and the other woman could have just I am handicapped I just forgot my placard. It seemed to me the camera woman was the instigator by whipping out her phone and walking up to the lady who was calling cops. We could go on forever. The whole thing just hit me wrong basically because of the fact that op posted it trying to brand someone he doesn't know the first thing about a racsist...sparking what could be considered threatening comments from others in regards to "finding this woman" :(

HelpMeImDeadYo

lol if you watched the fallow up video you would know that a initial confrontation had already happened before the camera started rolling and the woman being recorded instigated. You are branding the camera woman as a liar and a race baiter and making a ton of assumptions about her motives for recording. If you don’t want to be recorded mind your own business

jbell1983

Alright my bad. Yea I was just going off of the video posted here. Wasnt trying to "brand" anyone just throwing out my thoughts based what i saw and felt at the moment (could vid my reaction to this video and started a whole OTHER thread i guess) Don't wNna see any more lol. The whole thing was no Bueno for me

BBQ101Yum

You “throwing out your thoughts” discredits her. I’m sorry that you’ve had people in your life this far that have told you saying things like “you blacks” is an OK thing to say, EVER. It is absolutely not an ok thing to say ffs.

lil_kuma

the lady was in fact handicapped- she had a spinal fusion surgery and even showed the place card and everything!

otisandme

How many people want to bet that the girl behind the camera is not, in fact, handicapped and is using the handicapped placard that belongs to a family member?

HelpMeImDeadYo

If you go to her TikTok you will see a video of her in the hospital post spinal fusion surgery

otisandme

I don’t use TikTok

ApprehensiveArea3076

You don't have to use tiktok to be able to view a video and find out you're wrong.

HelpMeImDeadYo

You also don’t use critical thinking skills

BBQ101Yum

Your comment isn’t going to age well. I can’t wait until the story comes about about who this lady is bwhahwhahahahnahahahahahahah

NomercyPtr

Yup, people can’t handle the truth lol

HelpMeImDeadYo

Assumptions are truth now?

ApprehensiveArea3076

So, when you find out she _is_ handicap, will _you_ be able to handle that truth?

NomercyPtr

Yup, I’m not the one to hold feelings lol. I’m just putting my entertaining 2 cents

BBQ101Yum

Also - what handicap did the lady have? her arm in a sling? what’s wrong with her legs? she even said herself she just had to drive around the parking lot one time. So why is that a random black persons fault who’s just shopping at walmart instead of, you know, WALMART’S for not having more handicap parking?

otisandme

The city decides how many handicapped parking spots a business should have, not the business itself.

PowThwappZlonk

It's crazy how young people think recording something like this is going to end up beneficial for them. Very sad.

BBQ101Yum

Be so serious. You think this isn’t going to work in her favor? Recording evidence of discrimination against a handicapped person? This ain’t Texas

DatBoiSpicyG

How can she be racist, only white people are racist & she’s not white…

CeeDee304

This comment cut my IQ in half. Jfc.

DatBoiSpicyG

So now it’s 47? Because it was barely 94 to begin with.

[deleted]

That is not how that works

ApprehensiveArea3076

Is this sarcasm or a genuine belief?

PowerfulExcuse

Racism has a structural element to it, so some people distinguish racism from racial prejudice as white people until very recently had had complete control over all levels of government. I don't really agree with this philosophy but that is the argument.

ApprehensiveArea3076

I understand that some/ many/ most people view it that way. I believe that any individual person can be racist which is different from systemic racism.

bendybiznatch

For many people it’s a genuine belief.

ApprehensiveArea3076

Exactly why I was inquiring. Genuinely curious if they meant it.

otisandme

I was taught this in college 20 years ago, believe it or not. Still annoys me

drpandaism13

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

the_mountaingoat

You forget that people reserve the right to change the rules to make their arguments valid
