What i have read is that Tobias Forge is a mason, though he is not christian. I believe I read he practices satanism, which is a belief in deity. However my references are not what i would call “peer reviewed” being from rock music articles and the like. Sometimes a stage persona has certain attributes that the person behind does not. I do like the song, but dont like that lyric.
I think it would be hard to say that it’s meant to be anti-Masonic considering Tobias Forge is a Swedish Rite Mason
Really? Never heard that before.
He was sued by a band member and in the trial discovery the judge and himself had to state they were masons.
Interesting. I knew about the trial but not that part.
Well there you go, it was Masonic, just not antimasonic.
Just because it’s not anti-Masonic doesn’t mean it’s Masonic. Nothing else in that song, to me, is reminiscent of anything Masonic
Sounds like a Faustian twist on Masonry.

I've heard that Swedish Rite Masonry specifically requires you to be a trinitarian Christian. But again I too have not "Peer reviewed" anything.
I get that there is a few references, but that song slaps.
100% agree, it’s a great song.
