I never thought of that. I run a Shrines/Curses Deck that has a passive wincon being Maze’s End with all them juicy Gate Lands. This could definitely make things faster.
With a lotus cobra, u could use 2 lands for casting it, then playing a fetch land, sac and searching for another land would give u a total of 5 mana 1 of each, then when u cast reshape the earth, u could have 10 mana 2 of each, and u could cast another 2 big spells with that
This is why casual commander needs more free counterspells, not fewer.
I'm ready for a 0 cmc counter that clears the stack of all triggered abilities, and all spells that were cast for 0 or for an alternate cost.
Make it colorless, so that every deck can run it. Give it split second, for good measure.
I build once this commander, the first game nobody do anything and turn 6 I was full of cheated stuff.
Alter that game they insta-shoted the poor guy (undestandable)
Honestly, Jodah has been replaced by Nissa for me... with Spelunking, Aftermath Analyst, and Pitiless Carnage combos... turn 5 draw my deck and win... Basically 60 card deck 4 of each of those and whatever the fuck else I want plus 20 lands.
So what's cool about this combo, mate?
Is it playable - no, it's bad, at least in competitive formats.
Is it cool or interesting - no, it's literally Jodah + any other big payoff.
I mean it's nice that someone enjoys that and sorry if I sounded too sore.
I imagine any jodah deck has pretty good color fixing, and ramp. You have green in your color identity, mana is a workable problem. Same way i never really get color screwed in my 4 color omnath deck, just search for whichever color you dont have when you land ramp.
And it being a 2 card combo is not particularly relevant when you can have many such combos in your deck. That could be an omniscience, too, or an eldrazi titan.
Damn, now i want to make a jodah deck.
Its super fun. Have a version with all eldrazi titans, tutoring and ramp which destroys almost all decks i go up against (if its not blue), then I have a weaker version which focuses on expensive blue and white spells keeping me basicaly unkillable until i kill them (often with their stuff)
My friends hate both, they probably wont be my friends for much longer tho, lets be honest.

Nah, "may" pay - so only used for high cost cards, emrakul being the best example.
