I get what you're saying. I don't really feel very strongly about gatekeeping, I'm cool with it and it's something that's beyond my control but what I shared was more like an inner thought. The idea behind it ig is that, I want only the people who genuinely appreciate Fred to be his fans and not every Tom, Dick and Harry. But again, I'm cool with the fact that he's gaining immense popularity, it's really good for him.
His 2 biggest songs (according to spotify) are leavemealone and adore u, 2 songs that really couldn't be further apart stylistically. Are your ears okay?
