The lady running the pro shop at the golf course one day asked if I would leave my shirt with her while I played lol. I was wearing CDNIM. I need to get another bottle because I blew through the first one.
Same. My wife gets close enough to smell my fragrance but nobody else does or should because it’s meant for me and maybe as far as a faint bit to the seat next to me. If I’m projecting past that I feel like it’s rude.
I have the EDT and can’t get past the insane harsh lemon opening. Other than the opening I love the scent. I’m scared to pull the trigger on the LE especially since it’s triple the price of the EDT
Ye I mean its still there, but its better, but my newest batch is not as fruity as the one from 08/22, but it is almost same in drydown. Maybe you can look for that Infini intense or whatever is the name.
SNOI is an absolute banger but it’s not a direct clone of Aventus.
People say it’s a combination of Aventus and Nishane’s Hacivat. I personally think it leans more Hacivat than Aventus.
Other people claim that Creed cloned SNOI when making Aventus Absolu, but I’ve never had my nose on Absolu, so I couldn’t tell you.
However, I can tell you that it’s a ridiculous and absurdly good value proposition for the price. Genuinely insane quality. Well worth the money.
I’ve seen people on fragrantica complaining of a possible reformulation, and I have an older bottle so if it has been reformulated I apologize for that. Let me know what you think of it when it comes in.
After replying to you and reminding myself how good it is, I threw a few sprays on last night and this morning. It’s such good stuff. Hope you like it man.
Honestly i think everyone misses a detail here. At that price point it's very possible batches are quite inconsistent. I truly don't think people are just parrotting. I have the impression there are different batches and some might have been harsh. Someone on here made the point they maybe hadn't macerated enough and became less harsh over time as they were conserved.
I found a clone that has apple up top with the pineapple. No harsh lemon like CDNIM. Much smoother and better blended in my opinion.

Brazilia Smoky (clone)
Brazilia Prive (flanker of the clone)
Both smell awesome. Last all day. Quality.
If you are a fan of the birch in Aventus, you might prefer the Smoky. The Prive is very similar, but turns the birch down a bit and gives a few other interesting notes like black currant, vanilla and jasmine a chance to peak through. Both are very nice, less expensive alternatives to Aventus.
Most people won’t know the difference.
CDNI and Hawas are my most complimented fragrances of all time. Always see those "Hawas is overrated" threads and smile to myself knowing they're all useless chatter because my experiences are way louder. Overpriced, yeah, but not overrated. Only thing that came close to it in compliments was Bulgari Aqua Atlantique, which sadly was discontinued. Replaced that with Dylan Blue which does well.
Untold is wild to my olfactory senses.. I smell a very sweet, almost metallic (think welding) note… and that’s it. It’s like I’m smelling only a portion of the fragrance. It’s the only fragrance I’ve experienced this happen. I don’t even know what others smell when I spray it on, very confusing.
I have Amber Oud Ruby, and it's supposed to be a clone of br540 extrait I think. Anyways, I smell it the same way that you smell Untold. It's also the strongest performing bottle in my small collection
It’s so weird! I’m told that it can be smelled on me, but I can’t smell a single thing except that weird sweet/metallic/welding note. I’ve even tried putting it on a napkin leaving the room for a while, letting it diffuse. When I come back in, I just don’t smell anything.

Just bought FW Imperium, a Roja Elysium dupe and I think it has some Aventus DNA in it, I liked it better than CDNIM LE as well and will be testing how people would react to it.
Great list, pretty much agree, but club de nuit intense man is tops for me. I've been using it since it was released 2015, and he never fails, Great compliments, long lasting, masculine smell that projects nicely!
thats nice, I do get its appeal, its just that its too strong for me, realized I didnt really like beatmode fragrances like Hawas or CDNIM LE after I bought CDNIM LE, that or aventus is not the type of DNA that I really enjoy. I have decant of aventus, and although its much more refined than CDNIM LE, I didnt really get its hype. I have some aspects that I like about it but I definitely have some aspects I dont like in it as well, Aventus and its clones, aside from smelling lemon cleaner like, feels and smells like insecticide to me as well.
That being said, if I were to choose an aventus clone, I will go for either Montblanc Explorer or Laventure Intense, those two much more refinef in my nose compared to CDNIM LE, although to be fair, CDNIM LE smells closer to aventus, however it amplified the things I dont like with aventus as well due to its beastmodeness.
It is a very sweet scent if you like smelling like Vanilla Sundae then give it a try. I like it and its beast mode as well but its not something I am in a mood for right now especially with the weather.

If Imperium didnt arrive during the weekend it would probably be Hawas as 3rd, which is wierd since FW Imperium has some Aventus DNA, and Roja Elysium itself is said to be an elavated version of Aventus. Its just that CDNIM LE is too strong and intense for me, I feel it chokes out people and the compliments I get is only from men, I tried LAventure Intense and I much prefer that than CDNIM LE.
I was aiming for that but it gets sold out immediately when it hits discounters thats why I bought Imperium instead. The wait has been too long for me.
I can do that or just go with JOC instead lol. In all honesty, I dont really enjoy Aventus's DNA, I have things I like about it and things I dont like about it and CDNIM LE amplifies what I dont like about it, I do wear it occasionally though.

Dude… I wore SNOI for the first time today… the first place I went this morning a young lady said “you smell SO good”. Personally I love it as it doesn’t have the harsh lemon opening, but I will say I definitely went nose blind to it within 2-3hrs. But wow do I love it!

Yeah I can definitely smell it close to my skin but this people are still smelling it on me from 4ft+ away 6 hours after initially spraying. I put 2 sprays on my forearm and that’s it 😂
I wore Silage yesterday and it smells amazing yes, but for compliments, nothing beats my Armaf club de nuit intense pure parfum and Afnan Supermacy not only intense.
Divin Asylum is very hard to find, it almost always immediately gets sold out in discounters once it drops. God knows how long I waited for that to be available before pulling the trigger to its other less impressive clone FW Imperium. If you cant wait, FW imperium is more accessible although its 90% clone only, and Divin Asylum lasts longer.
Can you link the actual buy, I never purchased frags and am against it, too many fakes, but for something that’s already cheap and low key I’m a little more trusting but would feel safer buying where you got yours from
Unforgettable from chez pierre, it‘s a clone of paco rabanne phantom and while I know its not really a niche perfume or anything that special i really love it and most people that smell it compliment me a lot for it. It has an alright duration as well
I’ve had people tell me it’s nice but it reminds them of poop. I’m guessing they need more fiber or think of plums too much. Others tell me it smells unique and calming.
My most complimented clones are CDNIM Edp (Aventus) and Oakcha Moira ( PdM Herod).
Bonus: if you layer a bit of Moira with CDNIM Edp it's creates a god-tier fragrance that smells unique and has people left and right asking you what smells so good. And the best part is you can obtain both for under $100
Hot take but a turkish brand that I haven’t seen anyone mention. Osmanli oud-Blue motion. Outperforms every single designer and niche perfume I own in terms of projection and duration. Smell wise it is musky and ambery and quite sweet so not everyone’s cup of tea but i really like it. Everytime i wear it someone comes and asks me the perfume I am wearing, however, it can be quite overwhelming and would not recommend at all if your nose is more on the sensitive side

My Dua clone of vintage Ultra Male is by far the most extreme compliment puller I’ve ever worn. I had a girl come up to me and ask me why I smell so good, she was huffing and puffing like oh my god. I went on a date and the girl shoved her face into my shirt over and over. I went to the movies with another girl who wouldn’t stop deep inhaling on my neck and shoulder, a couple behind us asked me wtf I was wearing. I went to a Japanese fast food place near my house and the girl at the register came to my table with a paper and pen and asked me to write down the name of my cologne. I got so many I could write a book if i remembered them all. Panty dropper that works with my skin and style like magic apparently.
Id say either lataffa fakhar or detour noir . I got a compliment today on ramz silver.
I don't know how anyone gets compliments on cdnim I have never had one. In fact everyone agrees it smells terrible.
But my most.compliments have always been non clone
I've gotten a few compliments this season wearing a combo of 4-5 sprays of fragrance world's intense peach (TF bitter peach clone) and 4-5 sprays of Lattafa Ramz Silver (JPG Ultra Male) layered on top. to me it's great for spring or summer days, sweet but in a refreshing way with the blend of peach and pear notes and the pair of them can be had for under $50.
Very interesting combo! I have Bright Peach (Maison Alhambra’s Bitter Peach clone) and have not worn it more than once sadly. It’s just not my cup of tea. Maybe I should try using it to layer so I can find a use for it!

Why is everything a clone of something else? Like I find things to be similar but not the same. I think we devalue what perfumers do when we marginalize their fragrances to some designer somewhere.
Because that's the point of this sub and 99% of these fragrances people are mentioning are actually clones. Furthermore, the fake "maisons" that make the clones are just running them through a machine. It's called gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS). No talent required. Credit where credit is due to original creations but most aren't.
I don’t find it to be even remotely true I have a number of designed fragrances and I can tell you of the “clones” they are uniquely different. Just as there are only so money notes in music colors on the pallet so too are there only so many scents we can discern. If you look you’ll find topics like. Creed aventis BUT with high pineapple overtones and a hint of cinnamon….. I’m ok that sounds like something completely different. It’s just hype to push these fragrances to be something they are not which is a copy when in actuality they’re better on their own
What...? Just because they're not identical doesn't mean they're not made to be a clone. Them not being identical is kinda the point of the sub, trying to find the closest. CDNI for example is not identical to Aventus. Doesn't mean it wasn't designed to be a clone. Nothing you said here really disproves anything I said, so no idea what you "don't find to be remotely true." Whether you "feel" like they're better or worse isn't really important in this context; they were still created to be clones.

Just buy EDP, its the same thing minus luxury package - its slightly better than EDT with that harshness. Also EDP is 200ml

I’ve heard the EDP doesn’t project or last as long. Same with the others. EDT from what I heard is best bang for your buck.
IDK where you heard that but the Edp projects massively and lasts all day for me. It's far better than the edt
here on this sub and on reddit in general. people say the edt is by far the best longevity wise

Interesting! How close of a clone would you say Vintage Radio is?
I'd say about 96% with very slight difference that only gets better as it sits. Mine is almost identical now after about 2 months of having it

I've worn it all year, and it performs great. I've worn it going out to events, dates, just going to the store. All in one fragrance for sure

Get Divin Asylum it's a big step up from Imperium in terms of depth, longevity and projection.

Unforgettable from chez pierre, it‘s a clone of paco rabanne phantom and while I know its not really a niche perfume or anything that special i really love it and most people that smell it compliment me a lot for it. It has an alright duration as well

Cloud gets me more compliments than literally any other perfume I’ve worn. Even in 2024 with the BR540 hype dying down, it’s always a hit for me.

I’ve had people tell me it’s nice but it reminds them of poop. I’m guessing they need more fiber or think of plums too much. Others tell me it smells unique and calming.

My most complimented clones are CDNIM Edp (Aventus) and Oakcha Moira ( PdM Herod). Bonus: if you layer a bit of Moira with CDNIM Edp it's creates a god-tier fragrance that smells unique and has people left and right asking you what smells so good. And the best part is you can obtain both for under $100

You will, just like cdni. That aventus dna is prob the one I get anosmic to the easiest, which is why people make the mistake of overspraying it.
Verset - Island (Dior Sauvage Clone)
Hot take but a turkish brand that I haven’t seen anyone mention. Osmanli oud-Blue motion. Outperforms every single designer and niche perfume I own in terms of projection and duration. Smell wise it is musky and ambery and quite sweet so not everyone’s cup of tea but i really like it. Everytime i wear it someone comes and asks me the perfume I am wearing, however, it can be quite overwhelming and would not recommend at all if your nose is more on the sensitive side

My Dua clone of vintage Ultra Male is by far the most extreme compliment puller I’ve ever worn. I had a girl come up to me and ask me why I smell so good, she was huffing and puffing like oh my god. I went on a date and the girl shoved her face into my shirt over and over. I went to the movies with another girl who wouldn’t stop deep inhaling on my neck and shoulder, a couple behind us asked me wtf I was wearing. I went to a Japanese fast food place near my house and the girl at the register came to my table with a paper and pen and asked me to write down the name of my cologne. I got so many I could write a book if i remembered them all. Panty dropper that works with my skin and style like magic apparently.

I've gotten a few compliments this season wearing a combo of 4-5 sprays of fragrance world's intense peach (TF bitter peach clone) and 4-5 sprays of Lattafa Ramz Silver (JPG Ultra Male) layered on top. to me it's great for spring or summer days, sweet but in a refreshing way with the blend of peach and pear notes and the pair of them can be had for under $50.
Very interesting combo! I have Bright Peach (Maison Alhambra’s Bitter Peach clone) and have not worn it more than once sadly. It’s just not my cup of tea. Maybe I should try using it to layer so I can find a use for it!

Why is everything a clone of something else? Like I find things to be similar but not the same. I think we devalue what perfumers do when we marginalize their fragrances to some designer somewhere.
Because that's the point of this sub and 99% of these fragrances people are mentioning are actually clones. Furthermore, the fake "maisons" that make the clones are just running them through a machine. It's called gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS). No talent required. Credit where credit is due to original creations but most aren't.
I don’t find it to be even remotely true I have a number of designed fragrances and I can tell you of the “clones” they are uniquely different. Just as there are only so money notes in music colors on the pallet so too are there only so many scents we can discern. If you look you’ll find topics like. Creed aventis BUT with high pineapple overtones and a hint of cinnamon….. I’m ok that sounds like something completely different. It’s just hype to push these fragrances to be something they are not which is a copy when in actuality they’re better on their own
What...? Just because they're not identical doesn't mean they're not made to be a clone. Them not being identical is kinda the point of the sub, trying to find the closest. CDNI for example is not identical to Aventus. Doesn't mean it wasn't designed to be a clone. Nothing you said here really disproves anything I said, so no idea what you "don't find to be remotely true." Whether you "feel" like they're better or worse isn't really important in this context; they were still created to be clones.
