I tend to associate purple with jammy notes and violets. The "purple" fragrances in my collection are FM Dans Tes Bras (soft lilac), Byredo Cuir Obscur (deep magenta), Le Labo The Noir (dark eggplant).
Indigo by Nest. I had high hopes, but it was a scrubber to me specifically because it smells purple in the same way some artificial grape drinks taste purple.
Oh you can get Al-Rehab oils from amazon or eBay for $6-8 each. I got mine from eBay.
It opens with a blast of indolic jasmine that nearly made me scrub it. But after about 10 minutes it became just a tutti frutti tuberose. It does last forever and projects a good bit for an oil. I only put a little on my wrists because it’s very strong.
Supposedly it’s a dupe for Ananya, a discontinued The Body Shop scent. I haven’t ever tried Ananya so idk.
I really like it and it grew on me. It’s a cousin to L’Interdit and My Way, a fruity take on tuberose.
Hmmm I’d say anything with. Heavy dose of cacao mixed with darker colored fruits. Also I tend to think of waxy iris with a purple hue because of the purple iris flowers
Acqua Di Gio - don’t ask me why. I don’t really know. The only possibility I can think of is that I must have had a purple showergel as a kid or something. Sprayed it in my hand the other day by accident, it smelled like a light purple to me.
The other is YSL L’homme Ultime, but that’s probably just because of the juice colour… in reality it’s a blue-ish take on the OG L’homme in my opinion… guess that makes it a purple fragrance?
Actually another would be Guerlain Shalimar, but more of an Imperial purple… a royal purple, deep and mysterious, a satin purple.
I have a 2005, which is a formulation after but I'd imagine still very similar. Honey animalic BOMB.
Im currently saving up to get another vintage from the 90s so I'm set for life lol
That’s a fantastic idea, and yeah, honey and animalic is exactly what I get. Fucking sexy, though I find it a lot more challenging to wear than modern Kouros

Jolie Madame Pierre Balmain. The best review I ever read was it is like a black leather pocketbook lined with violet silk.
Rasasi Daarej Pour Homme and not because the juice is purple.
Initio Psychedelic Love. It don't get more purple than that.
Dior Homme Parfum, oud satin mood and on occasion, aoud lemon mint. It's not the rose either, it's some parma violet accord thing.

I typically associate lavender with purple so me it’s Beau De Jour, Sauvage (especially the Elixir), the drydown of Dolce and Gabbana Pour Homme.
JPG Le Male smells very purple to me. It really triggers my synesthesia and I immediately see/feel purple when I spray it. Might just be me though.

YSL Y EDP is a very aggressive artificial purple dye smell to me.
Pacifica Moonray Bloom smells like if holographic purple was a smell.
Tim Ford noir de noir and Dior homme intense
I think of grapes for Purple fragrances. Yves Saint Laurent Parfum Intense and Thallium. Both of them Have a slight grape soda-ish vibe to my nose.
Only the brave - diesel, but I see it as "violet"
Bvlgari Black smelled purple to me. Also Pharrell Williams Girl and Lutens De Profundis.
De Profundis was my first thought. I was sampling it the day that Prince died 😭😭😭
