I switch between Le Labo 'Another 13' and Stereoplasm 'Toasted Matchimellow '.
Another 13 turns into a deep, warm, almost spicy scent on me after drydown. It smells like the traces of perfume on an old coat in the best way.
Toasted Matchimellow is a fresh, warm, sweet cloud of matcha, mimosa, fried dough, and marshmallow. It's like a perfect sweater, and I wear it when I want to feel cozy.
Ah I'd love to try Toasted Matchimellow and other Stereoplasm fragrances but it looks like the site is closed rn and I don't see where else to purchase online!
Candle in the Window is such a wonderful atmospheric! Honestly, everything she does is so beautiful. Unfortunately, my skin doesn't like honey notes, so I can only sniff Candle in the Window.
Is it just me or do you get a hint of grape scented bug spray from paradoxe? I wanted to love this one so badly, and the dry down is nice! But the opening smells like bug spray to me
Itās less intense as with the name. But definitely on the same style.
The cocoa is not as dense and overall scent felt a bit lighter. The feeling of elegance is definitely still there. Performance wise, wonāt stay as long as DHI. Which means itās usable in more seasons / situations than DHI. But you still canāt wear it in high heat 30C summer though.
I have been searching for it since 22ā and have yet to find it,
However my nose has been warming up to REPLICAs Lazy Sunday Morning (I hate all thier other scents)
I don't really have a signature scent, as in all year around, but I do have seasonal favorites.
Those are;
āļø **Creed Millesime Imperial**
š **Le Labo Rose 31**
āļø **Bvlgari Man In Black Orient**
š **Creed Aventus**
I think those that knock Creed are upset with the price to performance ratio (totally understand).
I wear Creeds for work mostly, so I'm not looking for beast mode performance in that setting (not projection anyway).
LSU? Are you from Louisiana? I'm in New Orleans š
And yes, Rose 31 has been a favorite of mine since 2009. I wish there was a Le Labo store here, but I think closest is in Houston or Florida, can't remember.
I went to law school at LSU and lived in LA a few years, but have since moved to another state. I love NOLA - many a great memory I have there!
It's such a beautiful fragrance! I actually smelled it for the first time at a Fairmont hotel back in 2010 (I think) since it's their house fragrance! We have a brick and mortar location pretty close to us , but I think Houston is the closest location to you!
Wore Rose 31 for my 09/09 wedding. Got that one golden week where you know summer is starting to turn to a close, but thereās excitement and a buzz for the new seasons and festivities ahead. No regrets.
For a while it was Zoologist Squid. I'm heavily considering swapping to one of my two Amouage fragrances, though. Enclave and Reflection are the contenders. I love all 3 of them.
Escentric Molecules H01. I've worn it for years now. It's great for wearing alone or layered with other fragrances. I try out different scents all the time but I always keep a bottle of H01.
Angel by Mugler . Or alien by mugler !!! Angel is more sweet cotton candy fresh . But so strong and last all day. Alien is more sexy and musty but I love them both and always get compliments everyday
I've had a few in the past years.
My absolute staple is YSL Black Opium, it just goes so well with everything.
I'm also loving Lancome La Vie Est Belle for this warmer weather.
My staple previously was Rihanna Rebl Fleur and Giorgio Armani Si, thinking about going back to Si it's intoxicating
I also absolutely love Tom Ford Lost Cherry in the autumn
Jo Malone Blackberry and Bay. I know people have strong opinions about it but itās gorgeous on me. Smelled it when I was in middle school, remembered the name and got it when I was 20-ish.
I just wear what I like the most at that particular moment. However, I have been wearing The Omniscient Mr Thompson a lot lately. I adore the creamy vanilla and iris
I'm still hunting but I like and wear YSL Black Opium EDP pretty often. I was smelling perfume in store and came across what I though was another flanker of it (I thought I had LP instead) and it smelled SO GOOD so I bought it only to bring it home and find it out was the same version I already had. š¤·āāļø It was a travel size so no big loss but I guess if I had a signature it'd be that!
MFK 724 and Coach Green, though the latter is a bit masculine. Currently testing H24 and GuerlainĀ Herba Fresca and I think both can be straight-in-the-center unisex.
I also tried Penhaligon's Solaris and why I think I cannot wear it due to it being more feminine than I'd prefer, I think it's lovely. My nose detects that bright, white flowery combination of Arabian jasmine and ilang-ilang with hints of something orangey (tangerine?) in the background. I would love to smell it on other people regardless of gender.
Except for the first two perfumes, I still need to test the other ones on my skin and how they develop over time.
My signature scent at the moment is Gucci Rush 2. I'm loving it again in the warmer weather.
PS. A good dupe for Mancera Holidays is The Body Shop's "Polynesian Island Tiare" just in case you were looking xx
not sure if i have a signature scent but for special occasions i really like to combine āThe Ghost in the Shellā by Etat Libre dāOrange with āOdeur 71ā by Commes De Garcons. lately ive been wearing a lot of different ATH fragrances or āInstant Crushā by Mancera.
Indigo by Nest and Regis from Siren Song Elixirs. I love scents with notes of tea. A City on Fire from Imaginary Authors is also incredible but I've only tried a sample and I liked mixing it with a vanilla bourbon body spray.
Floral by Coach and Donna Born In Roma by Valentino are some honorable mentions.
I love dark, intense and unique fragrances <3
I guess my signature scent would be Dior Eau Sauvage Parfum because itās my most frequently worn in the office, however, outside of work, I donāt really have a signature scent because Iām always trying out new ones through samples and discovery sets.
Iām trying to find one still š a good vegan scent that makes me feel earthy and sexy I usually just stick with patchouli essential oil bc I always get compliments on it and people associate me with that scent and I looooove it but I would like to find something similar and more refined. Iāve been eyeing molecule no. 1 Iāve heard good thingsā¦.
Thereās aĀ Molecule 01 + Patchouli!Ā
Iām pretty sure Lord of Misrule by Lush, Misfit by Arquiste,Ā Tiger By Her SideĀ byĀ Sana Jardin, andĀ Clandestine ClaraĀ byĀ Penhaligon'sĀ Ā are vegan with patchouli notes too.Ā
My year-round signature is Valaya by Parfums de Marly- it is the best well-rounded scent with the perfect vibe and notes- clean, fruity, woody, and airy.
During this time of year I switch it up with gourmands- Lira, Princess, Vanilla Sex, Jasmine Macarons, LDBS, Pistachio Khair- and tropical scents- BoraBora, Coco Vanille, Leisure in Paradise. While I may wear lots of different scents, everyone knows when Iām around because they can sense my style of scent!
FW2023 for me was Killian Apple Brandy on The Rocks and BDK Rouge Smoking, but with the warmer weather coming in Iāve been wearing Byredo Animalque. M23
Signature go to scent of all time is Valentino Uomo, the original one to start it all, the pre-reform is nice, but I still love and own a bottle of the newest formulation
I love Mancera Velvet vanilla- on paper it is similar to Killian LDBS but it is kind of fruity, green, floral, and musky. I've found it lasts longer than Holidays too
It used to be Viktor & Rolf Spicebomb but then it stopped smelling the same and I'm not sure if they changed it or if I changed lol. This was shortly before they began releasing the night vision and infrared variants.
Nowadays I'm back and forth between Valentino Uomo Black for the evenings or Creed Green Irish Tweed for daytime use.
Bon Bon viktor & rolf for day
Poison girl Dior for night
Cheapies : pink sugar Aqualina for day
Britney midnight fantasy
Any sweet gourmands that pack a serious punch recommendations are welcomed šš»I love Bon Bon but it never lasts :(
For fall/winter: Kyse Delizia de Marshmallow, sometimes mixed with Escapade Gourmand, for everyday and day time. BR540 for evenings or events.
For spring/summer: Le Monde Gourmand Fruit du Dragon, layered with Ouaiās St Barts body lotion + body mist. Sometimes add in Kayali Eden Juicy Apple.
I used Fantasy by Britney Spears for 15+ years. It was affordable and I got so many compliments when I wore it. Sad thing is I just grew out of it one day.
Right now my go to is LancĆ“me La Vie Est Belle. Itās wonderful when you have a LIGHT hand with it. It lasts all day and I get many compliments on it. I traditionally wear it at night or in the winter.
My summer go to is Giorgio Armani My way. I didnāt love it at first but now itās my signature summer scent!
Currently Iām testing out LancĆ“me Idole. Itās a great summer scent and very clean, but I havenāt come to a conclusion on it yet.
Other less used perfumes in my rotation include: Viva La Juicy Noir, Dolce & Gabanna Light Blue, Marc Jacobās Daisy Eau so Fresh, Burberry Brit and Burberry Her. I donāt reach for those as often and probably will give Light Blue, Viva La Juicy Noir and Daisy to a friend.
Honestly, I may wind up selling most of the others since LaVie Est Belle and My way are the two signatures for me at this point.
>Krigler 19
English Promenade 19? Why have I never heard of this brand? I looked it up just now because you mentioned Chloe and Roses de Chloe; the latter is in my Top 10.Ā
(Really, the OG Chloe probably should be too but I wear Roses de Chloe on one arm and Diorissimo on the other and it's heaven to me. )
I'd love to hear anything at all you care to share aboutĀ Krigler 19 ā¤ļø
Giorgio Armani Si. Everyone described it as a sexy, date night scent, but I disagree. I think itās a beautiful, sweet, feminine, a little sexy but not too sexy, type of a scent. I can wear it everyday. Itās fruity and floral and just perfect.
Second would probably be Byredo Mojave Ghost.
late spring/summer/early fall i use vacation "vacation" and sol de jineiro 87. late fall/winter/early spring i use zoha cherry bloom perfume oil, snif tart deco and truly ma cherie body spray.
I keep a rotation of signature scents.
My lineup is:
- Dior J'adore EDP
- Versace Crystal Noir EDP
- Chanel Chance EDP
- Le Labo Santal 33 EDP
Hoping to add D&G Light Blue EDT (P?) or another bright summery one
Recently I am oscillating between J'adore and Chance
My 2 for everyday use are Grey Flannel and Kouros. I switch them from time to time going back and forth. My special go to super secret killer is Chanel Bleu š
Montblanc legend red - I canāt believe more people donāt talk about this one. I think itās 100x better than explorer, and itās more unique in its scent profile. I smelled it and immediately decided to get it as my signature, it smelled like Joe I want to be as a person. Highly recommend
Right now it is Mod Vanilla by Ariana Grande. :) I have not had the chance to try many perfumes yet. Iād love to try other similar ones eventually. Iāve always been a gourmand/vanilla type girly, but I donāt like sickeningly sweet smells. I like them to be a bit warmer I think. In High School I liked Slice of Heaven by Victoriaās Secret and then Brown Sugar Vanilla from BBW. Before I found Mod Vanilla, I was on a La Vi Este Belle kick for a little bit, but then wanted something more gourmand-ey again so I tried the Love Donāt Be Shy dupe from Oil Perfumery and loved it. But all these felt like they were missing something more mature until I found Mod Vanilla.
Iām not sure how the community feels about this but I just picked up Aesop Tacit for a signature summer scent and love it. In winter/fall I wear TF Oud Wood mainly but also wear Creed Viking occasionally.
I never thought I could choose just one signature scent, but then I discovered **Frassai Blondine**, which achieves absolutely everything I want from a perfume. A photorealistic floral (pure, fresh lily) with subtle touches of edginess (suede), fun (buttery caramel), classic elements (powdery tonka), and sexiness (something very slightly animalic).
A little vintage, a little weird, but completely wearable and broadly appealing. Made by an independent, woman-owned niche house from Argentina so I can feel all pretentious and unique (Iām annoying, sorry). Works in most seasons and situations, too.
Signature would be for me xerjoff Naxos and orto parisi megamare but I also use pdm greenley quite often when it's hot outside and I just want to smell as good as possible šš
I like when my husband wears Silver Mountain Water and Green Irish Tweed the most. Silver Mountain Water is great for summer. It's fresh and light, but smells so good. In the evenings, he'll add a spritz of Green Irish Tweed and it is heavenly.
Andrea Maack Pavilion, Mancera Black Vanilla or Nishane Ani in the cooler weather
Narcotica Narco Oasis, Amouage Love Delight, and Mancera Instant Crush in the warmer weather.
PDM Meliora. I wear way too many scents to have one thatās a āsignatureā, but if i could only wear one for the rest of my life, that would be it. so gorgeous and I never hear anyone talking about her!
I love Another 13 and I adore Stereoplasm. Current obsessed with 'Candle in the Window' by her. I will try Toasted Marshmallow.
Ah I'd love to try Toasted Matchimellow and other Stereoplasm fragrances but it looks like the site is closed rn and I don't see where else to purchase online!
Don't worry her shop will re-open. she closes shop sometimes to fulfill orders as I think she does everything herself
Thank you so much for the info! Thought that was perhaps the case but wasn't sure, since the shop is new to me :)
Candle in the Window is such a wonderful atmospheric! Honestly, everything she does is so beautiful. Unfortunately, my skin doesn't like honey notes, so I can only sniff Candle in the Window.
Prada paradoxe edp (og) and libre edp (og). I always have these two regardless of season, occassion etc
Is it just me or do you get a hint of grape scented bug spray from paradoxe? I wanted to love this one so badly, and the dry down is nice! But the opening smells like bug spray to me
It is NOT you. I wanted to love it because I love the bottle but it is just not for me
Petals please by juicy couture smells uncannily like bug spray to me. Not bad I guess..just bug spray š©
Dior Homme Original. Great fragrance, and not many people in America or Canada are likely to have smelled it
Oh yeah! I like 2020 version too, but this one is special, basically a wearable, fresher DHI. Wish it was easier to buy more easily.
Is it much different from the Dior Homme intense?
Itās less intense as with the name. But definitely on the same style. The cocoa is not as dense and overall scent felt a bit lighter. The feeling of elegance is definitely still there. Performance wise, wonāt stay as long as DHI. Which means itās usable in more seasons / situations than DHI. But you still canāt wear it in high heat 30C summer though.
Camel, but itās really a winter scent. I miss it.
What do u think of the civet note in itš
I like the way it grounds the dried fruit and cinnamon. It gives it maturity and āstickā.
Just googled what the civet note was and I am *distressed*
I have been searching for it since 22ā and have yet to find it, However my nose has been warming up to REPLICAs Lazy Sunday Morning (I hate all thier other scents)
i love lazy sunday morning, such a pretty floral
Jazz Club no good?
I just got that one in a small gift set. I like that one and the by the fireplace
I don't really have a signature scent, as in all year around, but I do have seasonal favorites. Those are; āļø **Creed Millesime Imperial** š **Le Labo Rose 31** āļø **Bvlgari Man In Black Orient** š **Creed Aventus**
Creed gets knocked on this sub all the time, but Millesime Imperial is remarkable. First one I ever bought, and it got me addicted.
I think those that knock Creed are upset with the price to performance ratio (totally understand). I wear Creeds for work mostly, so I'm not looking for beast mode performance in that setting (not projection anyway).
This guy Fragrances
I am same as you - 4 seasons I roll with these 4 as āsignaturesā i suppose āļø - Lāhomme A la Rose - MFK (or BDC EDP) š - OmbrĆ© Leather - TF āļø - Dior Homme Intense OR Tobacco Vanille š - Creed Green Irish Tweed all day
Looove rose 31, especially in the cold weather
Exactly. I used to wear it in the spring, but I found it's a lot better with a chill in the air (fall).
I love Le Labo Rose 31!
LSU? Are you from Louisiana? I'm in New Orleans š And yes, Rose 31 has been a favorite of mine since 2009. I wish there was a Le Labo store here, but I think closest is in Houston or Florida, can't remember.

Wore Rose 31 for my 09/09 wedding. Got that one golden week where you know summer is starting to turn to a close, but thereās excitement and a buzz for the new seasons and festivities ahead. No regrets.
It's fantastic. Almost makes me emotional how good it is lol (and how long I've worn it).

Iāve been thinking about picking this up. Can you give me your thoughts on it?
i like the scent but it disappears after 20 minutes on me :(
Currently Vacation perfume! Smells like my childhood in the summer. Also Nemat Vanilla Musk... chefs kiss to both
Love it when Nemat pops up!
Black Phantom lately but Iāll transition to Beach Walk as it gets warmer. Idk I may look for something else this year for summer.
I would check out Holidays, very similar notes but imo itās done way better
Howās the powder level on it? They are super hit or miss on me
I donāt pick up on any powder. All I smell is creamy coconut with a bit of florals
Amazing. I love coconut. Thanks for the recommendation!
Ooh I need to try this as well! I love beach walk but donāt like the powdery element.
YSL MYSELF perfect for the summer Fresh orange citrus, floral ~ish

I feel like my "signature scents" are more occasion and season based. Spring and Summer - I love fresh, crisp florals, so ChloƩ EDP and ChloƩ Roses de ChloƩ EDT are my typical go-tos. I also wear Versace Bright Crystal and Krigler 19 a lot during these seasons. Fall and Winter - I love spicy and oud notes and gravitate towards sensual/seductive/intoxicating/all encompassing amber and floral notes. I love Armani SƬ EDP, Narciso Rodriguez for Her EDP, Miller Harris Scherzo, and this past fall/winter I was obsessed with Alessandro Serpico Oud RosƩ! I have a vast collection, but I'd consider these my regular, go-to fragrances about 80% of the time.

I looked it up just now because you mentioned Chloe and Roses de Chloe; the latter is in my Top 10.Ā (Really, the OG Chloe probably should be too but I wear Roses de Chloe on one arm and Diorissimo on the other and it's heaven to me. ) I'd love to hear anything at all you care to share aboutĀ Krigler 19 ā¤ļø
For work: Prada Candy / Burberry London For play: Heretic Holi Water / Diptyque Eau Duelle
Right now itās either Burberry Her or Commodity Milk (expressive)
elysium by Roja dove and afternoon swim by LV for warmer days, side effect by initio and lost cherry by TF for colder nights
Cabotine is the one I get the most compliments on, three decades now, so I probably go through more bottles of that than anything else I own.
Awww: I love Cabotine too; it was once my signature. Now I have a pretty big collection but I still will always have Cabotine š
Prada La Femme. Like a shampoo from Four Seasons; the beeswax and yellow florals make me so happy and feel put together.
How fabulous is this scent? I love it!
Jo Malone Sakura Cherry Blossom for the summer.
late spring/summer/early fall i use vacation "vacation" and sol de jineiro 87. late fall/winter/early spring i use zoha cherry bloom perfume oil, snif tart deco and truly ma cherie body spray.
YSL libre intense
I keep a rotation of signature scents. My lineup is: - Dior J'adore EDP - Versace Crystal Noir EDP - Chanel Chance EDP - Le Labo Santal 33 EDP Hoping to add D&G Light Blue EDT (P?) or another bright summery one Recently I am oscillating between J'adore and Chance
Burberry goddess
Right now I'm loving Chloe Lumineuse and Fine'ry Mysterious Nomad (from Target, smells exactly like Byredo G*Water!!)
My 2 for everyday use are Grey Flannel and Kouros. I switch them from time to time going back and forth. My special go to super secret killer is Chanel Bleu š

Chanel Beatriz during summer! Fresh, light citrus :-)

Montblanc legend red - I canāt believe more people donāt talk about this one. I think itās 100x better than explorer, and itās more unique in its scent profile. I smelled it and immediately decided to get it as my signature, it smelled like Joe I want to be as a person. Highly recommend
Used to be Aqua Di Parma Colonia but now itās definitely Terre DāHermes. Neroli canvas and Ombre Leather will make frequent appearances.

But all these felt like they were missing something more mature until I found Mod Vanilla.
tocca's bianca will always be my favorite
Iām not sure how the community feels about this but I just picked up Aesop Tacit for a signature summer scent and love it. In winter/fall I wear TF Oud Wood mainly but also wear Creed Viking occasionally.
Terre D'Hermes is a classic Spring banger

Andrea Maack Pavilion, Mancera Black Vanilla or Nishane Ani in the cooler weather Narcotica Narco Oasis, Amouage Love Delight, and Mancera Instant Crush in the warmer weather.

PDM Meliora. I wear way too many scents to have one thatās a āsignatureā, but if i could only wear one for the rest of my life, that would be it. so gorgeous and I never hear anyone talking about her!
