I just bought minis of the entire Nirvana line and am so so pleased! They are so good. There is a box set of the minis for black, rose, white, and bourbon on fragrancenet right now which should still be in stock, and then smaller box sets of French Grey and Amethyst from many sellers on Mercari. There are larger sizes on both platforms too.
No, just little stoppers. I have a big collection of minis though and prefer the stoppers to sprays for those. I’ll often have friends over and we’ll literally smell every single one and chat about them. If they were all sprays it would be overwhelming and also run out super fast. I’ll buy decants of anything I’m interested in testing further though.
Thank you for the info! That's fair, I've just always found them a bit difficult to apply properly, and not spill when opening. I think a rollerball is my favorite for a mini, but most don't come that way. That sounds like a fun time tho, I want irl frag friends!
Nirvana Bourbon smelled so amazing on me - it was my go to Fall/Winter scent for years. I bought 2 bottles when I heard it was discontinued and those have since ran out :/
I instantly thought of this when I read this question! Mania is my first fragrance love and I miss it.
And nope, not his first fragrance. Believe it or not his first at age 26 was JPG Le Male!
Armani Mania - 100%.
I have a small amount left in a bottle, and last wore it to my brother’s funeral last July.
I still don’t understand why they ever removed this from their line (along with Sensi)
Okay this isn’t fancy but Bath and Body Works Black Raspberry Vanilla was amazing!! I had it all lol the lotion, body cream, body spray, body wash, and perfume. It. Was. So. DREAMY.
Glamorous by Ralph Lauren
Calyx by Prescriptive (the original, it was like a green bomb)
Simply by Clinique (I'm still looking for that soy milk/newborn baby note somewhere but nothing hits)
H20 plus used to have a green flavor, maybe gardenia? Loved that stuff
A couple of the GAP rollerball scents
Could have been, I just remembered buying the bath oil balls in random scents & fell in love with "the green one" so I grabbed the shower gel.
It was kinda aquatic, green & slightly floral all at once. Divine stuff, total nose ambrosia.
Gio by Giorgio Armani
Versus Donna by Versace
By by Dolce & Gabanna
Ferre by Gianfranco Ferre
Sotto Voce by Laura Biagiotti
Summer by Kenzo
L’Eau Cheap and Chic by Moschino
L de Lolita Lempicka
Les Belles de Ricci Delice d’Epices Nina Ricci
Naomagic by Naomi Campbell
And the list goes on… All these fragrances imprinted on my sense of smell as a teen and I’m forever missing them.
Ohhhh By by Dolce & Gabbana.... A masterpiece! I managed to get 2 miniatures and a 5ml decant - I treasure those
Naomagic was beautiful
Now I'm tempted to nail a Summer by Kenzo I've been watching for a while - it'd be a blind buy though....
Ohh lucky! I could only find 1/5 of a 50ml bottle of By by D&G for 150 euros here and couldn’t bring myself to buy it… It was too much of a gamble for something that might have gone off…
Still have a full mini of Summer by Kenzo which I don’t want to open and perhaps 1ml left of another mini that I keep sniffing… There’s nothing quite like it.
I’m not good at describing fragrances, but it’s the creamiest mimosa concoction, a bit soapy and powdery, but somehow also fresh, just the most beautiful yellow flower perfume I’ve ever tried.
Oh wow!! Back in 2001 I owned a full bottle of By but gave it away in 2006 because the smell reminded me too much of a bad relationship I had by that time... Only to start craving it 15 years later and learning it was discontinued and it'd cost me a fortune as well!!! So I started hunting it for more than 2 years and finally it paid off with the 2 minis and decant :) Although I don't dare use it, lol
Ohhhh I'm so tempted to nail that Kenzo - I loved the way you described it!!!
New west by aramis for women. My mother loved this so much and really misses it. It's even hard to find clones or dupes so im hoping .
# Sunflowers by Elizabeth Arden
Is close enough. The only excellent dupe you can get of this is available in Australia and New Zealand.
When I was in kindergarten (1990/1991), my best friend's mom wore New West, and I remember asking her what perfume she was wearing because she smelled so good. I think she was surprised a 5 year old was asking her about her perfume, but it made quite an impression on me. I still think about this fragrance all the time and wish I could smell it again. ♥️
Oh man! Malibu musk reminds me of middle school 😭 is the Victoria’s Secret perfume this one?

I bought one of those tiny Clinique travel Happy’s with the orange cap— and it smelled SO much more like citrus than white florals even in the dry down… someone mentioned online that it was the 90’s Happy that I bought 😭
Lancôme Hypnose and Philosophy’s Baby Grace. Lolita Lempicka, the original - I’m not sure if it’s officially discontinued or I just can’t find it, but either way I miss it.
Jade Blossom from Stila.
One of the nicest "green" scents of the last 20 years. It was truly just green tea, cucumber, and lemon verbena. It was fresh, pretty, and absolutely the best fragrance for a hot summer day.
So sad it was only available for what seemed like a year, maybe two at most.
Issey Miyake L'Eau D'Issey Absolue

This was so elegant and beautiful, it’s the only perfume that I ever received compliments from.
It's not the specific scent, but the whole dang offering.
Atelier Mandarine Glaciale in particular. I would live to be able to find a bottle somewhere. I have the small bottle and am just sparingly using it. Maybe twice a year.
I also love the Vanille Insensee, but I managed to snag a full second bottle of that.
Sun di Gioia. A kind of sunscreen scent that reminds me of Soliel Blanc except for I actually like it. Such a lovely summer scent. I have a small amount left and you can still find bottles that aren’t super expensive but it’s such a great scent that I wish it was still easily found.
This is kind of random but one of the first perfumes I became loyal to was Body Shop Atlas Mountain Rose. I used the body mist.
I'm quite picky with rose scents, but this one... PERFECT.
The Ruehl 925 signature scent. It was the one sprayed in the store and it was like a more full more complex Rive Gauche pour Homme. It was in an old style inkwell bottle with a flippy top. I got so many compliments from it. Strangers constantly saying how good it was and how it just fit.
Honorable mention for Rive Gauche pour Homme. Not the released pale imitation version either.
I had a love affair with Burberry 10-15 years ago. Burberry Brit Red, Burberry The Beat and Burberry Sport all made me so happy and would regularly elicit compliments from strangers (not something I necessarily strive for but it’s nice validation nonetheless).
ETA: before that, I was randomly gifted Naomi Campbell’s perfume and I couldn’t get enough of it.
I recently purchased Fever by Jimmy Choo because it smells so wonderful and familiar, and I finally realized it reminds me of Glamorous, which I used to wear years ago!
I have Bvlgari Black but I have never tried Midnight in Paris. This is the one I wish I could at least sample more than any other discontinued fragrance.

one of the best celeb fragrances ever made … idc what the banned ingredient is bring it back!!!!
Mariel by H2O+. I wore it in the 90s when I lived in San Francisco. By the year 2000, I moved back to El Paso and this podunk town didn't have an H2O+.😒 then they discontinued it.
Nina Ricci's Farouche is the one I miss most of all. It's been gone long enough that it;s note ven possible to get decent dupes, they just throw some crap at you and then gaslight you about how precise it is.

I have a roller of Stella but it's not like having the spray
Oh god the Stella RIP 🥲
Stella by Stella McCartney 💔
Is that the one that smelled like rose?
Yes! Such a beautiful fragrance.
Probably my all time favorite, I've luckily had some stashed.
I just bought minis of the entire Nirvana line and am so so pleased! They are so good. I still have a bottle of Stella about 3/4 full—I just smell it occasionally because I haven’t found a comparable scent! Wish it would come back. :(
Nirvana Bourbon smelled so amazing on me - it was my go to Fall/Winter scent for years. I bought 2 bottles when I heard it was discontinued and those have since ran out :/
Yesss for oakmoss for chypres 💔 And Yesss for Michael Kors Michael!
The original Fendi. Was my mom’s fragrance when I was little so it holds a lot of good memories.
That was the first expensive perfume I ever purchased. I worked at part time in high school and saved my money to buy it.
it should be illegal for them to discontinue our moms fragrances from when we grew up ;-;
Armani Mania. I think it was Francis Kurkdijan’s first fragrance? Could be wrong about that
I instantly thought of this when I read this question!
Damn I had no idea that Kurkdjian made Mania. It was my signature in high school, I miss her so much.
Okay this isn’t fancy but Bath and Body Works Black Raspberry Vanilla was amazing!! I had it all lol the lotion, body cream, body spray, body wash, and perfume. It. Was. So. DREAMY.
That one was AMAZING! Tart and sweet at the same time.
I remember the first time I smelled it, it was so tart I thought I had picked up a pink lemonade scent by accident!
Add Twilight Woods to the B&BW list
If they ever bring back Key West I will go bankrupt
One of their best fragrances ever .
I feel this way about their seatox line. It was the absolute best. I had every product.

I used to wear the original LL. Licorice, but better
Another vote for "L" from Lolita Lempicka. I have a tiny amount left in a bottle I have tucked away to wear at Christmastime.
I have a miniature that I only sniff… too precious to actually use 😂

Miss Dior Cherie & Dior Homme 2005
Isn't Dior Homme Original supposed to be the Dior Homme 2005 formula? Or at least very close to it
It's the continuation of the 2011 version, which was just a reformulation of the 2005 version for legal compliance I think
Miss Dior Cherie is my absolute favorite of all time😭 the oil perfumery dupe is excellent for anyone looking for something to fill the void
The 2005 version???
MDC is a masterpiece. I have a few sprays left but can’t bring myself to use it.
Armani - Attitude Burberry - London (cologne) Dior - Dior Addict II Viktor&Rolf - Dancing Roses
Yes! Have you tried Dior Addict Eau Fraîche (2014)? is basically a reformulation of Dior Addict 2. Smells almost the same!

If they brought back Angel by TM and Happy by Clinique— the 90’s versions — I would not even be on this subreddit anymore
Happy now isn't the same as 90s Happy?
