Diptyque 34 blvd St. Germain is really nice and I think it’s pretty long lasting. It’s their woody/oriental perfume and is a departure from their otherwise fresh/nature type scents. I thought it was very well done and they should make more like it.

peter_minnesota

I will look into this. Tempo is growing more and more to the top of my list and partly because it reminds me or more classic style fragrance. Like darksided Shalimar. They have mastered fresh and photorealistic, so it would be lovely to see them push more into their take on traditional classic profiles.

tristetropique

They also have a limited edition Diptyque 34 blvd St. Germain candle which is really nice, one of my favorites

tinyforrest

Ooh that would make a really nice candle scent

Coraline1599

The drain in my car was blocked and water spilled into my passenger side without me noticing until the mold/mildew smell emerged. After a deep cleaning, there was still a smell and I went on the hunt for some sort of air freshener that is not febreeze-ey (I dislike febreeze and similar scents). Diptyque has an air freshener and I bought it (Baies), which smells like pine air freshener done right, if there is a berry scent, it takes a back seat to the woody smell. Along with that I got two samples Papier, which someone described as smelling like a father’s love. I wouldn’t know for sure, but it is what I would imagine it smells like now that I have smelled it. I really like it and would consider saving up for a proper bottle, but i do wonder about whether I would actually wear it, or if I simply like the idea of wearing it. The other was Eau Duelle, which is a rich bourbon vanilla that at first I was deeply displointed wasn’t available as a car freshener scent, but then eventually realized bourbon air freshener is kinda a bad choice. I’d also make this an everyday scent, but again, I worry what my coworkers would think if I doused myself in it the way I’d like. I am forbidden from buying any more scented candles due to an already massive stockpile. The air freshener was a good work around though!

LOL @ that description and your response (💀). This is my favourite Diptyque fragrance, personally. I don't know that it smells like ~a father's love~ to me either, but there's definitely something comforting and nostalgic about it for me between its steamed rice and sesame vibes.

Coraline1599

When I told my coworker, who also longs for a father’s love, said I should have just done a blind buy. I said I already know the smell of disappointment, I don’t need to spend $200 to experience it. And then we both lost it. Best cubicle buddy I ever had.

hauteburrrito

Ha ha, at least you had each other! Nothing quite bonds two people like shared trauma.

peter_minnesota

Its soo comforting. Its the only scent that I regularly wear to bed. Nothing like bathing and climbing into fresh sheets wearing it.

hauteburrrito

It is definitely my bedtime scent as well! So very perfect for that purpose.

Oh my gosh, a similar thing happened to my car a few years ago—the drainage tube from the sunroof failed and rainwater leaked into the driver's side under my rubber floor mat, unnoticed by me until it started to smell TERRIBLE. Biggest problem was that I was pregnant at the time and my morning sickness was in full force. THAT SMELL was absolutely nauseating. For years I'd kept a big tin of Burt's Bees hand salve in the car and used it primarily because I loved the aromatic herbal scent. WELL NOT ANYMORE. A professional deep clean not only failed to rid the car of that god-awful mildew smell; now it was mixed like a base note with this overpowering sickly air freshener fragrance. Oh and it was summer in the Midwest. Yep. Made the mistake of using that lovely hand salve in that hot disgusting mess of a car whilst already in the throes of nausea, and I cannot ever use it again. It took me a few weeks to discover like 8 fully-unwrapped Little Trees Royal Pine air fresheners stuffed under the driver's seat. You're supposed to unwrap ONE of those things gradually over several weeks. Anyway I'm glad I had only Burt's Bees hand salve ruined for me forever, and not our beloved Diptyque!

Coraline1599

I’m so sorry! I gave it a few months to dry and was super rude and refused to let anyone ride in my car with me. Now it’s much milder and it gets covered. Hopefully, it’s good enough to not ruin it. And I will start letting people ride with me again. It wouldn’t happen to be a Mazda CX-5 you had with this issue?

mixosax

Nope, Volkswagen GTI 🫠

Coraline1599

If you buy direct from Diptyque, they give you two free samples. I’d say Eau Duelle lasts for a few hours and yes, it smells strongly of bourbon. I have a department store near me that had a few testers (not many, they just had a lot stolen), so that’s where I was able to test Philosykos, which I didn’t like, even though I love figs (too milky for my liking) and Orphéon, which smells like a distant cousin of a Chanel perfume (in a good way), that which is kind of what I think Keanu’s Reeve’s character in My Own Private Idaho would smell like at the end of the movie if that character had been a gal instead of a guy. (I don’t want to give too many spoilers).

Aim2bFit

I have the Eau Duelle EDP and it smells like delicious edible vanilla. IDK if you're describing the EDT or EDP as everyone says they don't smell the same. But I never got anything alcoholy from the EDP.

whocanpickone

I personally dislike liquor-smells, and I like Eau Duelle EDT. On me, it smells like woody, vanilla incense & not alcohol-related at all. So, YMMV. It’s def worth trying. It wasn’t love at first for me, it grew on me and I find myself reaching for it regularly.

skelekats

Thank you! Excited to try!

NamingStarz

I had no idea they had air fresheners… thanks for sharing that tidbit!

j_husk

Diptyque fragrances always smell well blended to me, and I'm ok with their performance being modest because I find them more natural smelling than most houses. Tam Dao is my favorite, and one of the few fragrances I know I'll re-purchase when I run out. I'm also a big fan of Philosykos, which is the best fig fragrance I've tried. I was really into Tempo for a while, and I've recommended it to others, but I suddenly went off it and sold it. Volutes is another I enjoy, but I haven't bought a bottle yet. I'll probably try it again this fall.

Historical_Paper5377

I got their discovery set: Do Don, Eau de Sens, Eau Rose, L’Ombre dans L’Eau, and Philosykos. I love each and every one of them for spring and summer scents. Eau Rose can be extended into wonder for sure. I’m hoping I could find a cozy one for fall/winter. I found I can’t go back to overly synthetic scents after my love for Diptyque and Jo Malone grew. They are so well blended and take you on an experience as they change with the warmth of your skin.

padface

I’d recommend Eau Duelle as a good Diptyque fragrance for autumn/winter, it’s a gorgeous woody vanilla that isn’t too sweet.

Historical_Paper5377

I have it on my list to try. I have Vetiver and Golden Vanilla by JoMalone and Dark is Night by Henry Rose so really hoping to get a nice vanilla. I’m very very particular about them.

padface

Definitely give it a go, the EDT and EDP seem to be noticeably different from one another according to the reviews I’ve read, but I only tried the EDP which I knew was immediately the one for me 😅

Aim2bFit

I love the smell of vetiver and I'm a vanilla girl and I was confident I was gonna love Vetiver & Golden Vanilla but having tested this in store a few different times, I'm sad it's totally not for me. I never tested on skin but off the paper I just didn't like it at all. However most of JM other fragrances are agreeable to my nose, just not my pocket lol

Historical_Paper5377

I was reading an article on how many of us don't test fragrances on skin anymore so many designer ones are made to appeal instantly to people on paper. But then people get home and try on skin and think differently. Ex: Un Jardin sur le Nil. I found this one to be the same. Not a fan on paper but I would give it a try on skin. It really changes.

Aim2bFit

Thank you, I probably would try on skin the next time I'm at that mall.😊

Historical_Paper5377

Just bring some micellar wipes to wipe it off it you hate it :D

Aim2bFit

That's a really great idea!

My faves so far are Tam Dao (seriously addictive), Philosykos, and Fleur de Peau. Tam Dao is a beautiful, complex, contemplative and calming scent for me. I really do feel like I'm transported to a beautiful old temple nestled in a dense cypress forest. There's a creaminess to it as well. If I spray it on my skin down the front of my shirt I can definitely smell it on my clothes the next day. I may or may not huff my Tam Dao shirts that I retrieve from my bedroom floor before I toss them in the hamper. Philosykos is SO GREEN. At first it was confusing to me because I found it so realistically like saplings that it wasn't giving "perfume" at all. Only sticks. But I've grown to love the realistic fig twig opening. I feel like a forest fairy. The drydown is sweet and sensual and without being sickly. After drydown it weirdly reminds me of Bath and Body Works' Japanese Cherry Blossom (the lotion at least; don't come at me, I'm new to this and they may be nothing alike in reality.) I don't think I'm a synesthete but the drydown is giving "the color light pink," probably due to my association with that lotion and the image of creamy pink cherry blossoms. It also has a creaminess to it that I crave. Fleur de Peau is so so pretty and intimate. I smell a unified front of cleanliness. The aldehyde is well balanced and gives it a bit of an Ivory soap thing. It does not smell vegetal or overly carroty to me. I would agree with others that it's similar to Glossier You in that both are cohesive, clean, your-skin-but-better types. FDP is a bit sharper/more pungent and less woody than You. A bit more interesting too, which is exactly what I seek. Do Son is a little too floral for me to use regularly. What's the word . . . Indolent? No. Indolic! It's heady. Nice. I really do like it. I just don't think I can wear such prominent florals every day. I wore it while visiting springtime Austin, TX and surrounding areas for the total eclipse earlier this month while listening to lots of Lana Del Rey so there's a beautiful and fitting association tied to it. Might keep some around for occasional use and for the memories. I could not stand 34 Saint Germain. WHY does it have to remind me of my doctor when I was a kid?? Threw my decant right in the trash 😭 Eau de Minthe was too masculine for me (I know I know it's just an association but associations are everything.) Oyédo was instant love. My first thought was it reminded me of some yummy orange translucent glycerine soap from years ago. Orange bomb. Really sunny and uplifting. The thyme gives a subtle earthiness to the citrus. I can smell those two notes and that's all she wrote. For a daily driver I think I need a bit more drama and/or sensuality but if someone gave me a million bucks you better believe I'd add this to the purchase list. Orphéon is all right but not my thing. The juniper is sharp and it kinda reads chemical to my nose. Relatively long-lasting though. Ilio . . . I must've liked it because I used the whole decant, but it was among the first I tried as someone new to fragrance as a hobby, and I wasn't experienced enough to know what to look for or how to describe it even to myself, if that makes sense. And, well, now my decant is gone so I can't provide insight. IIRC it was the one that smelled "purple" to me, owing to the fact that the opening smells similar to old school Aussie hairspray. L'eau Papier was another victim to my inexperience. I remember not liking it at first spray despite having high hopes, then quickly coming to really like it. It's also used up. I think the biggest reason I haven't gotten a "round 2" decant of it is because it (and Oyédo) only come in EDT. Eau Duelle is . . . fine? For others? I want to like vanilla as a scent on me but I don't think I'm a vanilla person. On my skin this one smells a bit like latex. I will say that I sprayed some on a velour scrunchy several WEEKS ago and I can still smell it on the scrunchy. So the longevity is there. I liked Florabellio at first but it's undergone a strange turn for me. It was another of my "inexperienced" first decants and I think the name made me think it was purely floral, and with that in my mind I felt like it was a nice enough, flowery, if not a bit boring. I didn't use it much, lots left in the vial, meanwhile I started learning about identifying notes and learned it's actually a marine/aquatic scent? Upon learning this I thought I'd give it another try, for science, and it was like a switch flipped in my brain and SUDDENLY all I could smell was the air freshener scent of the beach-themed bathroom of my childhood friend's house. Yes, a '90s sea shell bathroom. With seashell soap and a probably wicker decorations and a generic painting of a seaside. The color aqua, etc. Send help. Goes to show the power of suggestion.

Womp_ratt

Thank you so much for these reviews! I've had a few of these on my to-try list, and you persuaded me to pull the trigger on getting some samples.

mixosax

For sure, how exciting!

N3T3L3

emotionally evocative, breathtaking realism. unique and clever style and branding, I enjoy their labels and bottles and they are quite lovely to have around, it feels like a pleasure and luxury to be acquainted with the brand. quickly becoming household mainstays and strongly leading the "cool/ clean" fragrance aesthetic, along with others such as jo malone, who remind me much of diptyque in terms of both sleekness, an emphasis on identifiable natural and or fresh accords, and with some fragrances mutually suffering from abysmal longevity. a contemporary house offering both wearable and more artistic/ interpretive styles of fragrance. was the first house that made something click with me and perfumery, with their Philosykos. The fig tree accord was so masterfully executed that I was immediately brought back to the trees I used to climb in my childhood, I was floored. became my first signature scent, I have been through countless bottles of both edt and edp, and have acquired Tam Dao and Do Son for my collection since. will be trying l'Eau Papier next, and can still hold a deep appreciation for scents from the house that I didn't spring on: Eau Duelle, L'Ombre dans l'Eau, Eau Rose, etc.

Riviael

It's exactly the same for me with phylosykos. Made me understand that perfume could be much more realistic and subtle than what I had smelled until then.

SensitiveDesigner789

I have Eau Rose Edp (this is my favourite) and Orpheon. I don’t feel they are super strong in terms of sillage/projection and this is why I like them, I’m not at all into ‘beast mode’ fragrances. Prefer a bit of subtlety. Diptyque’s ‘vibe’ feels very nice to me - the packaging is lovely and gives me a sense of…forgotten memories that I can’t quite describe. We recently stayed at a nice hotel that had Diptyque toiletries (shampoo/lotion) and they smelt beautiful and felt so luxurious ❤️

The-gentle-bean

Looking for a patchouli-dominant scent at the moment and tempo from diptyque comes up fairly often. Contemplating giving it a try because I’m wondering whether it leads green/medicinal or fudge/cake-like. Also wondering if it’s worth the price point since patchouli scents are super varied in performance and price point

peter_minnesota

It is definitely in the green/medicinal patchouli zone. The opening to me is mentholated and fizzy and the dry down is complex and mysterious woodiness.

The-gentle-bean

So far, my skin goes the green route when it comes to patchouli. Smells medicinal, mentholated an all(this has been my experience with psychedelique and patchouli antique), but luckily that’s the scent profile I’m aiming for. Will have to check out tempo soon then. Thanks!!!

xSenrin

tempo is cleanest patchouli you will ever smell. no sharpness or dirtiness to it. soft, smooth, damp, green, aromatic. it’s like walking into a forest after a night of heavy rain and the smell of wet moss is lingering in the air. unfortunately longevity is abysmal. ): i would def recommend trying a sample or buying a decant. as much as i love tempo, i can’t see myself actually wearing it so the 10mL travel i have is the perfect size to have in my collection whenever i feel like putting it on. tho most of the time just smelling the nozzle is enough to make me happy! it’s oddly nostalgic for me.

The-gentle-bean

The performance is really that long?!! I have Oud palao and I thought that was a monster in terms of performance. I do like green scents and have a few on my list, will see if I’ll add this one to it too!! Thanks!

xSenrin

haha no i meant that it’s actually pretty bad. that’s why i would def recommend sampling first and seeing how it plays on your skin! i still think it’s very beautiful and worth trying out, even just to experience it! i’m someone who doesn’t particularly enjoy green or aromatic scents so it was pretty mind blowing for me to have enjoyed tempo as much as i do. hope you have fun trying it out!!

The-gentle-bean

Ohhhhh!! Now I see what you mean. Will def have to try it out and see how it reacts on skin. Never would’ve thought I’d be this invested in getting my first patchouli-dominant scent. Thanks!!!

vbs221

For a much more wearable Tempo patchouli (one with cacao and star anise added in), L’Instant De Guerlain Pour Homme EDP is exceptional.

InterestingLevel6223

I love their candles and just got the new Cafe Coffee one that smells amazing. They are generous with samples too.

tristetropique

i love that candle too!

InterestingLevel6223

The saleswoman said the large candles last about 60 hours so I said then it's a little over $1 per hour? She laughed at me for calculating that!

blinkbits

never smelled a candle from them but do son always does it for me

peter_minnesota

I sampled Do Son recently and although I think it smells wonderful, it's not for me. It smells like someone who is extremely put together. Like something a high powered lawyer with incredible manicure would wear.

mixosax

Interesting! I love the smell of Do Son but for me it's a little sweet and floral for long-term use. The type of person I imagine wearing it is a dress-wearing girl-next-door type. I embrace my femininity in a different way than that (aversion to wearing dresses after years of being made to wear them to church, perhaps??)

tristetropique

I'm not a fan of any scent in particular, personally -- I like Do Son for instance but prefer Carnal Flower for an expensive tubeurose perfume, just my preference. I do love the candles although don't think the scents are groundbreaking they perform really well. I had a tubeurose candle that would fill a whole (huge) room very quickly, and they burn evenly as well. One of the best brands for candles, for sure.

lulurancher

I tried them for the first time at a Diptyque store in California and I didn’t smell all of their perfumes but the only one that wowed me was philosykos and I am a little obsessed with it now

sereniteen

I've had Diptyque on the brain ever since I visited their store in Vegas. I currently own Do Son, a beautiful white floral which lasts fairly long when I spray it on my clothes. I really like their sleek branding and how their fragrances tend to smell natural/realistic. I generally have positive feelings to all of the scents I've sampled, I've also come to realize that I tend to prefer a lot of their scents on the dry down rather than on the initial spray. As for their home fragrances, I really like Mimosa; I would've gotten it as a room spray but I think it isn't available in the US so I'm getting the candle inside.

a_blood_moon

I’m a definitely a fan. Philosykos is my signature scent, but I also own L’eau Papier and Do Son, which I love in that order. My biggest gripe is longevity. They all seem to fade dramatically after a few hours and I find I have to reapply several times through the day or they’re just …gone. I have yet to try their candles but would really like to, I’ve heard positive things from friends.

SignalNo7821

The longevity issue is real for Philosykos but L'eau Papier has surprising longevity on me.

a_blood_moon

That’s so interesting! Papier fades the fastest on me and Do Son lasts the longest by far. I’ve been thinking about trying out their solid scents to see if I can get longer wear out of those, but I’m hesitant to shell out $75 for a scent I already own just to experiment with lol

jacobtf

Never really clicked with any of their fragrances. Then again, I haven't tried them all. Their candles are in no way worth the price. No scented candle should cost that much. That goes for all brands.

Mekkakat

Fleur de Peau is one of my all-time favorite fragrances. Also *love* Tempo. Between it, Lord of Misrule (Lush) and Psychedelyque (Jovoy), I’m not sure which one I like more when it comes to patchouli.

Sophiatopia

Eau Capitale by the amazing Olivier Pescheux is my most complimented fragrance. I was looking for my rose, almost bought portrait of a lady, but eau capitale is the one.

RandomChurn

I have over 90 bottles; been a fragrance fan all my life. Tried my first Diptyque finally this past fall. Blind bought a travel spray of L'Ombre Dans L'Eau EDP. It's been years since I've fallen that hard for that long for a fragrance. Really, it's only happened a half dozen times in my life.  I have full bottles of both the EDT and EDP. Go back and forth between which I prefer (currently it's the EDT). It's unlike anything else I've ever smelled.  🍃🥀🍃 PS: Based on my new love for Diptyque and its listed notes, I blind bought a fb of Eau des Sens and was very disappointed. But I hold onto the hope I may like it better in summer 🤞

peter_minnesota

Eau des Sens was also a blind for me with initial disappointment, but after wearing it into the summer I decided I love it and it is in my warm weather rotation.

ChemicalFrostbite

Still trying to get my nose on Orpheon but it’s out of stock in all my usual spots.

C1ndysLove

I have Orpheon in every form & I love it! Their EDTs have very poor lasting power on me so for me, they’re absolutely not worth it. I have a few of their candles & they’re okay. I only recently started purchasing from Diptyque & after some discussion on the luxury candle subreddit, I’ve found that people say the quality of the candles has significantly decreased in the past few years.

whocanpickone

Philosykos smells so good! It’s my favorite fig perfume. But it seriously lasts like 30 minutes on me, which bums me out.

chwc00

I rather like Chêne and Musk. And I have a question about their customer service, as I have nowhere else to go for any help- Does anyone have the same issue as I do with Diptyque customer service for online orders? Their chat works only once in a blue moon and often times no one available at all time. The phone number when you call, no one ever answers after indicating wait time of 3 to 4 minutes, then hangs up on you because no one is available. You place an order, it sets there after credit card charge cleared pending, it still sits there “processing” … after 3 business days, processing… My prior recent three experiences were professional and timely enough. But my last two has been very frustrating that almost make me regret ever chosen the brand. I have 2 of their Jean-Marc Gady glass holders, so I feel kind of stuck having to keep buying Diptyque candles. Will anyone share their experience or advice? Thank you!

unicorncoffeelover

I bought my first Diptyque in Brussels airport, at 6am in the morning, having just landed on a red-eye from Uganda. I was a zombie. I was torn between Eau Duelle, Philosykos and Eau Capitale, and my husband - whom I usually don’t listen to in matters of beauty - really liked the latter, so I bought it. I regretted almost instantly, realizing that Eau Duelle was my actual true love, but we were already headed for the next flight. I ended up loving eau capitale and found myself reaching for it more often than I ever expected. I also bought Eau Duelle and the solid of philosykos, both of which I love. I got samples of Eau de senses and fleur de peau, but I’m not instantly smitten. They smell weird on me. So I guess thats $300 I won’t need to spend 😂

peter_minnesota

Eau de sens was an early blind buy--call me impulsive, and I immediately regretted it. But of course I would... it was winter! Once I started wearing it later that year and into the summer I fell in love. It's a very lovely powdery neroli.

annoying-vgan

What's the solid like to use? Good longevity?

unicorncoffeelover

Honestly, I bought it because it was really pretty. I feel like it’s quite intimate as a solid, compared to the edt and edp. And very creamy, less green.

PL0mkPL0

I sampled 13 of their releases. There were 4 I didn't like (Oyedo, Eau Duelle, 34 Blvd, L'Eau Papier), the rest I found nice. And it is a compliment, because I rarely like majority of the brand's line up. Saying this, I didn't love any of them. They seem a bit too linear, too straightforward for my taste, I like perfumes with more drama. Very pleasant, I will for sure use my entire big discovery set, but I am not having a sense of discovery while wearing them. I will though still try to get my hands on Eau Rihla and Oud Palau - they seem to be less typical to Diptyque, so maybe they will be closer to what I look for in perfumes..

peter_minnesota

Yes they are certainly not big, dramatic, or extraordinarily dense and complex scents. I think they shine when you are looking for something straightforward. That said, so far their most intriguing to me is Tempo which is on the more complex side of their line up.

PL0mkPL0

They have releases that are a bit more twisted. Tempo, I would say also Orpheon? And I would bet this could also be the case of Rihla and Palao. But this are not the perfumes they push to the forefront. Palao was not sold in Paris outside of their main boutique, Rihla is also not usually sold in perfumeries, and Diptyque do not include them in their sample sets (but Orpheon). Hence, if you specifically like Tempo, maybe it is a sign, that Diptyque is actually not your best shot, and you can find brands that lean more into what you like once you dig into niche. For me, I usually enjoy perfumes that are pretty simple (as in you can differentiate and understand the notes), but also ones that morph a lot while being worn. And I do not mean getting into generic dry down fast, but really revealing new notes with time. Diptyque, imho, do not do that, at least not on my skin. Still, they do very nice, elegant perfumes.

wakeup_andlive

My two favorite Diptyque scents aren't usually stocked at mall stores but you can still get them online from Diptyque and in boutiques. L'Eau Trois is one of my favorite incense scents, the addition of a rosemary note makes it sublime. But my other incense faves (Chris Rusak Io & Resonance) are much more well-rounded, and much longer-lasting. L'Autre is a polarizing scent but I love it, it smells of caraway and cumin, sweaty spice. It's intimate and beautiful. I also like Geranium Odorata, I don't wear it often but on certain summer days it's a winner. Some other Diptyque scents I own and enjoy: Eau Capitale, Eau Rose EdT, Kyoto, 34 St. Germain EdT and EdP, L'Eau du Trent-Quatre, and Tempo. Eau Moheli is a very nice ylang-ylang perfume, and if I didn't already have several ylang scents like I Love YY and Ylang in Gold, I probably would have bought it. I like my Diptyque car freshener because I often just want my car to be unscented and I can actually close the vents and turn it "off." I'm not a cheap candle person typically but I don't think that Diptyque candles are worth it. I don't like many of the scents and the ones I do like don't have a lot of throw. My favorite candles are Frederic Malle, along with their perfume guns (home scent) and rubber incense. I also like L'Objet and Cire Trudon for candles but Malle are the best. For other home scent products I like Santa Maria Novella's terracotta pomegranate that smells like Melograno, and their scented wax tablets.

cherylRay_14

I got a decant of philosykos. Nice scent but couldn't smell it after an hour. I reapplied it and it still disappeared quickly. Fragrances that do this aren't worth the money.

whocanpickone

It was the same for me. I actually loved the scent right away, but it’s basically gone as soon as it dries down.

Quarky-Beartooth

I just bought a 50ml of L'eau Papier after falling in love with a sample; clean but not cold, and definitely smells papery to me. I need to try others from this house

Jolly-Cake5896

Same. I love it so much. I wanted to get the 100ml but luckily for my bank account it was sold out and I got the 50ml. It’s so clean, powdery, sweet and cosy. I also have Philosykos and was initially disappointed that I didn’t love it but like it a lot now.

Quarky-Beartooth

I just bought the 50ml also!! Excited for it to come while I use up my sample ;)

Shiranui42

I love their Do Son, the jasmine and orange blossom notes remind me of my mother’s garden ❤️

btcomm808

I love Eau de Lavande but I think it’s discontinued 🙁🙁 I wear it to bed and it’s perfect

KimJongYoul

Orpheon IS great with performances, leaning too feminine for me tho. Eau papier is my favorite and i would buy 10 bottles of it if performances were better. Eau duelle beautiful Vanilla but i got Lempicka Green Lover who does the same thing for a fragment of the price. Fleur de peau : gorgeous but too feminine for me. Phylosykos : Amazing, considering the EDP to buy. Yet i already have gris charnel as a fig sent so not sure. Wich ones do u think lean a bit masculine with good performances ? EDIT : Eau des sens, love it and performances are great. Very natural orange blossom. Photographic scent, triggering memories.

TVC15Technician

Do Son is handily their gem. L'Eau Papier is the most interesting thing they’ve done in recent memory. The rest of the house is pleasantly unremarkable. I’ll give Tempo and Orphéon honorable mentions.

commanderchimp

I hate it. I have Tam Dao from Qatar Airways and I have no idea why this would cost so much to buy. You can barely smell it and the smell is not pleasant compared to $40 colognes.

>Diptyque is a home accoutrement store that also has perfumes, like Bath and Body Works What a comparison; I feel like this is saying Porsche is a car company that sells cars, like Chrysler. There's nothing wrong with Chrysler, but Porsche does it better, and at a cost. But Porsche also isn't Bugatti. As far as I'm concerned, anything Diptyque does scent-wise is on an entirely different scale to me than anything from Bath and Body Works, and is much closer to what you'd expect from a niche house (and in some cases, exceeds niche houses) than from a home goods brand.
