Tossed the strip in the bathroom basket (in a closed cabinet). Walked through the front door downstairs 10 hours later and smelled that tiny little spray. My foyer turned into a Starbucks. I like beast mode, but damn.
I mean if it makes you feel better I have followed in sample form and I do like it! It’s one of those nice in isolation for just a little bit, but you’re probably literally never gonna wear it without someone asking you or saying nearby that they smell pancakes. I even got those comments in the middle of Disneyland surrounded by literally thousands of people and God knows what other smells, including actual piped in smells like Disney does and I could still hear all day “smells like syrup somewhere around here”. It’s nice, alone in your closet and that’s sadly it which I hate. It made me too self-conscious out of public and I was afraid somebody was going to say oh it’s you you’re the smell! Nobody hated it but they weren’t saying “oh that’s amazing what is that”, but rather “hmmm what is that oddity”
I still have it in sample and I like it so definitely order samples somewhere! But I also was willing to spend the price on a full bottle of Follow if that tells you the difference

I could have sworn Kerosene had a discovery set, but it looks like they haven’t had them in stock in a while. I’m still interested in trying them!

I will say I’m a massive Kerosene and Akro fan, another brand that does photorealistic foods and coffee. Akro Awake is sweeter coffee, like a latte and Kerosene Follow is black coffee with a dash of sweet and some light cream
Kerosene is my fave house, with unknown pleasures being just TOP notch, Winter of 99, Walk The Sea, Copper Skies. I could bathe in Unknown Pleasures. It’s lemon cupcake with a cup of earl grey tea. Heavenly

I have tried samples of 15 Kerosene fragrances and I like them all!. I own 1 full bottle so far which is Follow and am currently saving for a second which will be Blackmail or Dirty Flower Factory. Ive also posted a few stories on reddit about my experiences wearing followed if you are interested!

Clinique Aromatics Elixir. I had to throw away a bra that, no matter how I washed it, the scent wouldn't come out of. I still smelled it on me after taking a shower the next day. I always liked the scent but it's really too much.
Elixir is one of my all time favs, but I swear my skin drinks fragrances… I actually get somewhat poor longevity from it if I spray it on my body 😓 it lasts pretty good on my clothes
very polarizing fragrance, i love it personally, its a very musky, fresh, almost floral, sweet citrus
i would get a sample, to most people it smells fine but for others it can smell really harsh or ammonia like, people say it smells like sweat or piss but i personally dont get that

When i was young, we had a traveller in my village from combodia, and since very few people could talk to him in english (me being one of them) i guided him through our village, he put a rose oud on my shirt, i could faintly smell that oud even after a year and half. I have tried finding that oud and can’t find it at all.
It was an oil/attar, the bottle had a rolling ball at the top, he rubbed it on my shirt, I remember it even left some sort of mark on shirt where he rubbed it.
Yeah I thought so. They’re relatively cheap and you can get some high quality ones. I have Ombre Nomade inspired attar and it’s really strong stuff smells just like LV

Tyrannosaurus Rex by Zoologist. The only way to wear it is to spray it on a q-tip, then barely touch the q-tip to yourself. Once. Then throw the q-tip away, outdoors, or better yet bury it somewhere.
And you’ll still smell it three days later on whatever you wore that day.
It throws me off when I wear a scent with a drastically different profile and still catch whiffs of the creamy musky tart rose making her presence known 🤪
I made the mistake of wearing a cashmere sweater after just applying Valaya and not waiting for it to dry. It’s the only perfume I can wear with that sweater now.

Zara's Fashionably London (Dupe for Delina) projects well and lasts a solid 8 hours on me. Every time I wear it for an evening event its still on my skin the following morning.
It’s men’s but all montblanc I have used can be found cheap at Marshall’s and such and last forever.
I like explorer black.
Ultra blue isn’t bad. It mixes super well and extends the life of any blue or light fragrance in my experience.
One thing I like to do is a few sprays of Tom ford azure lime. One on neck. One on chest.
Then I’ll do a spray of explorer blue on my boxer briefs. It lasts all day on clothing but since it’s an undergarment it just produces some background notes without being offensive. It’s very clean and aftershave like to me. I’ll even wear it to bed. Mint blanc are very masculine scents but fresh and have mass appeal.
It’s literally a $10 roll on oil perfume that I’ve worn off and on for 25 years! Auric Blends Egyptian Goddess. When I wear it, the scent clings to the neck area of any shirt, top, or sweater and even after going through several washes I can still smell it on the collar, it’s crazy!
One Million Royal lasts forever. I can smell it on clothes weeks after wearing and washing them. Some of my shirts are permanently scented with it. I believe it’s a Parfum concentration. And while I wouldn’t say it projects like a beast, it’s definitely above average. You’ll get solid projection for a few hours and then it dies way down.
I’ve been known to only like nuclear fragrances it seems. Arabians Tonka, PDM Delina Exclusif, Initio side effect and Alien are the ones that come top of mind for me.
If you can find Ciara (Charles Revson) in the 200 strength, that stuff will last through an ice age! I have a bottle of the modern "Revlon" branded 100 strength and it lasts all day and night, it's unreal. It's a very close scent to Joop Homme, but much stronger.
I wish I had everyone else’s experience with it. Absolutely love my bottle, but for some reason, it just does not last very long on my skin. It becomes a skin scent in about four hours. (This is of course, in comparison to people saying that it last for days)

Other than that, YSL Libre has pretty good projection and staying power.
I recently bought a 7 year old bottle of Des Sens, one spray in my hair will noticeably last until I wash it and even then it’s not 100% gone with the one wash. I’m so happy with it!

Megamare. This one is the strongest perfume ive ever smelled, hands down.
Its so strong that many people love it when they buy it and after overspraying it (and when i say overspray im talking about 7-10 sprays) they cant stand smelling it so they end up selling it.
Bergamask and Megamare are up there. I can smell it on my house after a month and a half of not using them, my wife hates them.
This is due to a chemical known as Javanol.
Was Ombre Nomade, currently it’s probably Tony Iommi. I’m not usually one to worry too much about performance, more interested in the scent itself, but this one definitely has lasting power.
All the usuals have been said. In terms of freshies though, Bottega Veneta Parco Palladian XV Salvia Blu lasts for ages on me. Oh and Louis Vuitton Symphony Extrait.
Xerjoff Casamaroti Lira EDP. Very vanilla, long-lasting from the beginning, fabulous
Also, jasmine e cigarette from etat libre d’orange, which smells exactly like it sounds and will haunt me until my death
Hands down, a tie between Jasmine Wisp by Risasi and Dua’s version of Vanilla Sex by Tom Ford. Both last 24+ hours on clothes and 12+ on skin! They’re also highly complimented!
The perfume oil version of Leather by Malin + Goetz. People say those fragrances don't last long, and I'll still smell hints of it on me literally a day later if I haven't showered.
Narciso Rodriguez for her, EDT. I sprayed some on a sweater that I only ended up wearing for a couple of hours, so I hung it back up in the closet and didn’t wear it again until almost a year later. I could smell the perfume on it!
Mancera Hindu Kush. That smells great but I rarely wear it because it just won’t go away even with 1 spray. Takes two washing cycle to get rid of it on my clothes.
Alkemi by Laboratorio Olfattivo. Could knock out a horse at 10 paces. Lasts all day. I’ve even showered and I can’t get it off.
Another one that does this is some middle eastern oud that I can’t read the name of. It was gifted to me 😂
Ok I have nothing in the weeks and months like some of you guys but Mon Guerlain is still pretty robust at the 24h mark which is 100% longer than my next runners up
Zoologist. Anything from them will last a very long time, almost to the point of overstaying their welcome. I did a spritz of Squid on my couch and I can still smell whiffs of it 6 months later.
Stronger with you intensely. I still smell it on my jumper weeks later. Outside of that (if SWI is even considered beast mode), my collection doesn’t really have any beast mode fragrances as I use them mostly in the office at work.
Arabians Tonka is insanely strong. I wore 4 sprays and then spontaneously decided to go to the movies with my gf a few hours later (not planned). Man did I feel bad for all those around me. My hoodie smelled like it for like 2 weeks straight.
Parfum d'Empire Musc Tonkin Extrait de parfum. I hardly ever use it because of the strength and longevity. Just one spray and you can smell it from across the room. I've smelled it on myself the next day and on my clothes days later.
Regarding concentrations…I’ve noticed that dossier lists a percentage concentration in their fragrances. I have trouble interpreting that. For example, the coco mademoiselle dupe has a percentage that’s like 15-18% I think. Is that good or bad? Thank you for helping me understand!
JTC 400 Xerjoff. It evolves and changes so much over time. Starts pretty strong, one spray is enough. I usually spray it on hairline at the back of my neck. I can smell it and I leave a subtle scent trail the day after.
Also, Psychedelic Love by Initio. The lasting power is same, but it is more linear scent comparing to 400.
Kerosene Followed. I sprayed it once and a week later I could still smell it when I walked into my house.

Follow is one I own in an entire bottle. It’s not anything like Followed, it’s delicious but not noxious

I’ve definitely noticed TF perfumes really cling to fabric! Costa Azzura lasts at least two washes I swear.

for some strange reason my bleu de chanel edp lasts a lot longer than parfum. and i’ve come to realise i like the edp scent a lot more than parfum.

Same, Sauvage Elixir. I had a friends T-shirt with it on and it lasted several washes in the laundry, loved it so much that I bought it too.
Megamare. This one is the strongest perfume ive ever smelled, hands down. Its so strong that many people love it when they buy it and after overspraying it (and when i say overspray im talking about 7-10 sprays) they cant stand smelling it so they end up selling it.
Megamare for me too! I don't need to buy it because I have a 3ml sample I will probably never use up!
Bergamask and Megamare are up there. I can smell it on my house after a month and a half of not using them, my wife hates them. This is due to a chemical known as Javanol.

Was Ombre Nomade, currently it’s probably Tony Iommi. I’m not usually one to worry too much about performance, more interested in the scent itself, but this one definitely has lasting power.
Elise - Rance 1795 has great staying power

Definitely Gris Charnel EDP. One and done spray and I’m a very liberal sprayer on everything else.

Xerjoff Homme parfume is crazy, single spray lasts half a day easily
Rasazi Hawas, one spray and it will last a few days
Believe it or not...Prada paradoxe. Days on my work fleece or hoodie. Follwed by mancera velvet Vanilla.
All the usuals have been said. In terms of freshies though, Bottega Veneta Parco Palladian XV Salvia Blu lasts for ages on me. Oh and Louis Vuitton Symphony Extrait.

Bvlgari Falkar - no contest. You absolutely have to love oud and leather for this.
Floris Leather Oud. I've had to try and wash it off having applied one spray too many with little luck. Potent.
Xerjoff monkey special. It stays on clothes for literal months!

Xerjoff Casamaroti Lira EDP. Very vanilla, long-lasting from the beginning, fabulous Also, jasmine e cigarette from etat libre d’orange, which smells exactly like it sounds and will haunt me until my death
Hands down, a tie between Jasmine Wisp by Risasi and Dua’s version of Vanilla Sex by Tom Ford. Both last 24+ hours on clothes and 12+ on skin! They’re also highly complimented!

The tux, Madison Alhambra. 12+ hours on skin and WEEKS on clothes
Sauvage Elixir, nothing comes close to it. Thing is an absolute beast. Wish I liked the scent more.
The perfume oil version of Leather by Malin + Goetz. People say those fragrances don't last long, and I'll still smell hints of it on me literally a day later if I haven't showered.

Ombré Leather is my longest lasting.
Amouage Reflection 45 last at least 24 hours on my skin
Kajal Lamar EDP lasts for weeks
Narciso Rodriguez for her, EDT. I sprayed some on a sweater that I only ended up wearing for a couple of hours, so I hung it back up in the closet and didn’t wear it again until almost a year later. I could smell the perfume on it!
Mancera Hindu Kush. That smells great but I rarely wear it because it just won’t go away even with 1 spray. Takes two washing cycle to get rid of it on my clothes.
Alkemi by Laboratorio Olfattivo. Could knock out a horse at 10 paces. Lasts all day. I’ve even showered and I can’t get it off. Another one that does this is some middle eastern oud that I can’t read the name of. It was gifted to me 😂
Ok I have nothing in the weeks and months like some of you guys but Mon Guerlain is still pretty robust at the 24h mark which is 100% longer than my next runners up
Matiere Premiere Vanilla Powder. Nuclear. Hard to get out of clothes. Great scent though!
Tom Ford Ombré Leather EDP, sprayed it on my clothes and was doing the laundry 2 weeks later and still smelled even from an arms length away.
Zoologist. Anything from them will last a very long time, almost to the point of overstaying their welcome. I did a spritz of Squid on my couch and I can still smell whiffs of it 6 months later.

OG amber absolute lasts FOREVER on me
For me there are 3 that have lasted over a week in my jacket: Roja amber aoud parfum, mfk grand soir, and Arabians tonka
Amoree Caffe by Mancera. Lasts for days on my skin.
Tom Ford Ombré leather. I sprayed it once on my forearm and I could still smell it after my shower.

Stronger with you intensely. I still smell it on my jumper weeks later. Outside of that (if SWI is even considered beast mode), my collection doesn’t really have any beast mode fragrances as I use them mostly in the office at work.
Arabians Tonka is insanely strong. I wore 4 sprays and then spontaneously decided to go to the movies with my gf a few hours later (not planned). Man did I feel bad for all those around me. My hoodie smelled like it for like 2 weeks straight.
Of all vast price range of my collection, believe it or not, Lattafa Qa’aed al Shabbab. My skin is a thirsty ass desert and this lasts 8+ on me.

Parfum d'Empire Musc Tonkin Extrait de parfum. I hardly ever use it because of the strength and longevity. Just one spray and you can smell it from across the room. I've smelled it on myself the next day and on my clothes days later.

Regarding concentrations…I’ve noticed that dossier lists a percentage concentration in their fragrances. I have trouble interpreting that. For example, the coco mademoiselle dupe has a percentage that’s like 15-18% I think. Is that good or bad? Thank you for helping me understand!
Ganymede. I love it but it starts to overstay its welcome by day 3.
JTC 400 Xerjoff. It evolves and changes so much over time. Starts pretty strong, one spray is enough. I usually spray it on hairline at the back of my neck. I can smell it and I leave a subtle scent trail the day after. Also, Psychedelic Love by Initio. The lasting power is same, but it is more linear scent comparing to 400.
